  7. If the code is entered correctly, the system will disarm, the door locks will open, and the key fob-communicator will receive a signal to disarm the system. If the code is entered incorrectly, then the key fob will receive a call signal from the owner, and it will be necessary to repeat all the steps starting from step 1.

The system allows five attempts to enter the code within 30 minutes. If the code was entered incorrectly, then its entry is blocked for 24 hours or until you disarm the system using the key fob.

Battery protection (out-of-dimension warning)

The system helps protect the car's battery from being discharged. If you forgot to turn off the parking lights, then when arming, the key fob-communicator will give a series of beeps for 5 seconds. At this time, the images of the lock and side lights will flash on the display. The warning tone will repeat every 30 seconds. three times.

Starter or ignition lock

The system in armed mode will not allow you to start the car engine. When you try to start the engine in armed mode, the system will send an alarm signal to the key fob communicator. An alarm about turning on the ignition will be displayed by flashing side lights on the key fob communicator, sound and vibration signal. The engine blocking operation mode is selected when the system is installed at a service station and depends on the values of two programmable functions 1-4 and 1-8. You can find out more about blocking the engine of your car at the place where the system is installed. When the starter interlock is selected, the system will prevent the vehicle's starter from restarting if the engine is started in automatic mode.

Protection of the radio channel from code interception

The system has special protection for the commands transmitted by the key fob. Each time you press a button on the system's key fob, the code message changes according to a special algorithm. This is done to protect the system from interception of the code and its selection (intelligent hacking of the security system). The code protection algorithm is specially designed for the SCHER-KHAN MAGICAR system and is unique, not applicable in one security system of other brands.

Motor protection in automatic start mode

The system in automatic start mode constantly monitors the operation of the engine. If the engine stops before the end of the warm-up cycle (engine failure or out of fuel), then no later than 20 seconds. the processor unit of the system will turn off the ignition. Repeated automatic start of the engine will not be possible until the malfunction is eliminated. For vehicles with a manual transmission, you must perform the backup mode again.

Shock sensor sensitivity adjustment

You can adjust the sensitivity of the shock sensor depending on your requirements. A regulator is provided to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor. Turning the knob clockwise increases the sensitivity, and counterclockwise decreases it until the sensor turns off. Consult a service station about the location of the shock sensor, it must be easily accessible for adjustment.

Adjusting the sensitivity of the owner's call sensor

You can adjust the sensitivity of the car owner's call sensor depending on your requirements. To adjust the sensitivity on the sensor, a step regulator with three positions is provided. The extreme left position of the regulator corresponds to the minimum sensitivity of the sensor, the extreme right - to the maximum. The sensor should be located in the lower corner of the car's windshield.

Adjusting the volume of siren confirmation signals

You can adjust the volume of the siren's short beeps. To reduce the volume, you need to cut the loop from the wire on the siren's body. The system can be equipped with any siren according to the wishes of the owner, including those where there is no possibility of adjustment.

Backup mode (only for manual transmission)

The standby mode excludes the possibility of automatic starting of the engine if the manual transmission lever is not set to the neutral position. Depending on your requirements, you can choose one of three redundancy algorithms (programmable function 1-6).

Algorithm 1
Algorithm 2

To perform a backup (prepare the vehicle for the subsequent automatic start of the engine), do the following:

  1. At the end of the trip, without turning off the engine, place the gear lever in neutral position
  2. Close the hood/trunk doors
  3. Remove the key from the ignition switch (in the OFF position). The engine will keep running
  4. Open the door and get out of the car. Close the door. The engine will stall.

Opening the door after completing the fifth step will make it impossible to automatically start the engine. Diagnosis of the reasons for its failure is described below.

If at least one step from the above algorithm is not performed, then there will be no backup mode and automatic engine start will not occur. In this algorithm, redundancy will be prohibited if the door, hood / trunk are open at the time the ignition is turned off.

Algorithm 3

To perform a backup (prepare the vehicle for the subsequent automatic start of the engine), do the following:

  1. At the end of the trip, without turning off the engine, place the gear lever in neutral position
  2. Close the hood/trunk doors
  3. Press for 2 sec. key fob button II
  4. Remove the key from the ignition switch (in the OFF position). The engine will keep running
  5. Open the door and get out of the car. Close the door. Engine will stall

Opening the door after completing the fifth step will make it impossible to automatically start the engine. Diagnosis of the reasons for its failure is described below.

If at least one step from the above algorithm is not performed, then there will be no backup mode and automatic engine start will not occur. In this algorithm, the implementation of the reservation requires you to each time press button II of the key fob before turning off the ignition (by turning the key in the ignition switch to the OFF position).

ATTENTION!

Close the sunroof and windows before leaving the vehicle. Do not leave people or animals in the vehicle when the reservation mode is being executed.

Do not start the engine automatically if there are people or animals in the car.

Leave the gear lever always in the neutral position. Do not use automatic engine start on open top vehicles.

If the operation of the redundancy mode differs from the described algorithms or does not occur, urgently contact a service station for advice. Until the cause is removed incorrect operation do not use automatic engine start.

At the end of the trip, without turning off the engine, place the gear lever in neutral position
Remove the key from the ignition switch (in the OFF position). The engine will keep running

At the end of the trip, without turning off the engine, place the gear lever in neutral position

Button assignment

The buttons located on the communicator support 4 modes of operation:

  • short exposure;
  • long (more than 2 seconds) pressing;
  • fast complex action on 2 keys;
  • long-term joint holding of 2 buttons.

The driver, by pressing the buttons of the communicator or auxiliary remote, turns on or off the security mode, activates the remote start and other functions. The keys are used to configure the remote control with a display, are used during programming of the central unit. The purpose of the buttons is indicated in the relevant sections of the operating and configuration instructions.

Time setting

To program the clock, a joint long press on the II and III keys is performed, and then the driver enters the settings menu (by briefly pressing the I button). To correct the values of hours and minutes, use the keys I and II, to store the result in memory, a long action is made on II and III (until the buzzer sounds).

Arming and disarming

To turn on the alarm, you must press the I key. A siren will sound, external lighting will work, and then the engine start circuits will be blocked and the locks will be locked. Explanatory icons appear on the communicator display.

To disable the protection, the II key is used, the complex gives a double signal with a siren and external lighting equipment.

The control diode turns off, the icons in the form of car headlights and a lock with an open shackle flash 5 times on the display.

Remote start from key fob

The start is made by a long action on the button II. After the locks are locked, the engine starts, the display of the communicator shows the remaining operating time (pre-programmed). The driver can disable the security, place the key in the lock, and then activate the ignition and start driving. You have 20 seconds to complete the action, otherwise the engine will turn off.

Trunk opening

Car alarm Scher-Khan Magicar 5 allows you to control the lock of the luggage compartment lid, to unlock you need to long press the button III. At the same time, the security mode is disarmed and the doors are unlocked. The driver can program a mode in which the side doors remain locked or the armed mode is not disabled (the lid limit switch and the shock sensor are temporarily turned off). In this case, after locking the lid, the protection is automatically activated.

Silence the siren

A complex short-term pressing of the keys marked I and II allows you to turn on or off the signaling of the siren and lamps. The value of the function is preset when programming the block. When the silent mode is enabled, the communicator's buzzer remains active. After the mode is canceled, the icon with the image of a playing pipe turns on on the screen.

Programming instructions

Before starting the setup, the security mode and the “Hands Free” function are disabled. To start the setting, a long press on the buttons I and II or on I and IV (to enter table 1 and 2, respectively) is performed. Then, by successive pressing (corresponding to the function number) on the IV button, a section is selected. The security complex gives siren signals confirming each keystroke. After entering the section, an additional signal is given by lamps and a siren (according to the serial number of the function).

The programming table given in the documentation contains explanations that allow you to correctly set the parameters. By pressing the buttons mounted on the communicator, the driver selects the desired parameter value (confirmed by the siren and flashing alarm). To set up each function, you need to go through the entire algorithm again.

How to enable autoplay

To activate autorun, it is required to perform a complex action on the key fob buttons marked with numbers II and IV. The message Timer will turn on on the remote control panel, the frequency of repetitions is indicated in advance in the programming menu of the processor unit. Car alarm Sherkhan Magic does not allow simultaneous activation of 2 modes.

To ensure that the motor starts on a timer, it is necessary to set the clock and the operating parameters of the alarm clock. After pressing the buttons II and III together, the inscription Pro9 is activated on the display, further pressing the button II turns on the timer adjustment. The driver uses the buttons marked I and II respectively to change the hours and minutes. After adjusting the parameter, press the keys II and III.

The Sher Khan Madjikar 5 complex supports starting from external equipment. Additional programming of the processor unit is required to enable the motor to turn on. To save battery life, the number of restarts is set, the driver programs the number of repetitions, and the restriction can be removed.

The equipment supports starting on a signal from temperature sensor located in the cabin, or critical voltage in the car's onboard network.

Before using the function, it is necessary to enter the threshold values by programming the central unit. Simultaneous activation of automatic start by timer, temperature and voltage is allowed. The motor starts when the parameters fall below the threshold, but the repetition rate is limited by the timer settings.

Faults and their elimination

When the control panel and the head unit are out of sync, the command translation process is disrupted. The algorithm for re-entering the remote into memory depends on the settings of the head unit. To start the procedure, you need to turn the ignition on 3 times, and then turn the key to the "Off" position. After the flash is applied by external lighting equipment, the I button on the programmable remote control is pressed, and then, by analogy, the remaining devices are recorded (no more than 3). Each step of the procedure takes 4 seconds.

If a password entry algorithm has been programmed, then after a triple switching it is required to enter the first register of the code (by turning the ignition circuits on and off). The number of turns corresponds to the previously programmed figure. Then, using a similar procedure, the second register is entered (4 seconds are allotted for each setting step). After confirming the input (single flash of the lamps), the remote control codes are entered into the alarm memory.

A common malfunction of the Scher-Khan Magicar V 5 is a breakdown of the control panel caused by wear on the button mechanisms or moisture on the electronic components. To restore functionality, you need to disassemble the device, and then remove traces of oxidation and replace worn components. If repair is not possible, a new communicator must be purchased, which is then registered in the central unit.

If the alarm does not arm, it is recommended to check the settings. When turned on remote mode Valet happening automatic shutdown security (only locks work). The cause of the malfunction is the breakdown of sensors or limit switches, as well as damage or breakage of the connecting harnesses. The check is performed by a test device, for a detailed analysis of the causes of failure, it is recommended to contact the service center.

How to set the temperature auto start of the engine on the Sher-Khan Magicar 5 alarm?

  1. it only has a start on the discharge of the battery !!!
  2. Attention! It is not possible to automatically start the engine only by temperature or only by low battery voltage. The time trigger enable condition is mandatory.

Attention! During programming, the system must be disarmed and the ignition in the car must be turned off. The Hands Free mode is also disabled and the door is preferably open so that there is no re-arming during programming.

    1) Timed autostart setting (every 2, 4 or 8 hours)
    b) To activate the timed autostart mode, press the IV button 13 times in succession (the siren emits a beep after each button press; that is, press once, we hear a beep, press a second time - we hear a beep and so on 13 times)
    c) Wait for the siren to beep 13 times in a row.
    d) Then select the desired autorun time button II - 8 hours, III - 4 hours or IV - 2 hours.

    2) Setting autostart by temperature (when t is reached in the cabin -15, -25, +60)
For the autostart to work correctly when the temperature is reached, 3 steps must be performed:
