One of the promising areas for the production of products with high added value is the construction of plants with new technologies for the disposal of fatty waste from fish processing in a completely closed, environmentally friendly safe mode. The output will be high-quality fishmeal, which is in demand on the world market, and edible fish oil with high content complexes "Omega" 3 and 6.
It seems that there is no collapse of the industry, just every 20 years it will have to rebuild for the next cycle.

Investments in the sea
That is, things are going quite well with our main industries.
Although, of course, there are many shortcomings here, especially in the fishing industry. In particular, for a more active development of coastal fishing (the so-called six-mile zone), changes in legislation are needed to ensure the possibility of going to sea at night for a small fleet; it is necessary to adopt strict regulations for the use of fish-counting barriers for catching Pacific salmon on the base rivers of salmon hatcheries; decisions are needed at the federal level on issues of granting fish-breeding sites for use without holding tenders for existing fish-breeding enterprises and on the use of fishery areas for aquaculture.
