Extrusion radiators

These thermal appliances made using a different method. The part of the radiator with the plates is made by extrusion: it is not cast, like all those described above, but is extruded, giving it a given shape. The resulting panels are pressed or glued to the cast manifolds. This option, of course, has a much lower operating pressure, thinner walls, less weight, and less heat transfer. Extrusion radiators are very poorly suited for our networks. They can only be used in individual heating: operating pressure - 9 atm. The main argument in their favor is low price. How positive quality light weight can be considered: not all walls can be hung high design heavy weight. Then extruded aluminum radiators from Global - great solution. But for normal operation stable pressure is required. They are also more demanding on the quality of the coolant: the pH is strictly within 7-8.

3. Global Class.

Aluminum radiators have a shallow depth (8 cm) and are considered the most compact in the entire line. However, reducing one of the sizes had no effect on performance. The Italian novelty has recently appeared on our market, and there are no reviews about its work yet. So it can only be assessed based on the information provided by the manufacturer. The main characteristics are standard for all Global devices, but the design of the sections deserves a separate description. The fins and air channels between the plates redirect convection currents into different sides, which allows the batteries to warm up the room much faster. Heating radiators with a height of 582 mm produce a power of about 161 W, and the extended Klass 800 - up to 219 W.

The manufacturer warns about the need to handle external surfaces with care. Although the painting is done with a hardening epoxy layer, it must be protected from excess humidity And mechanical damage. Otherwise, heating radiators in places where the coating is damaged may become “decorated” with unsightly oxide stains.
