In Moscow, work on the commissioning of Moscow Ring Railway stations is being completed. The movement will start along the updated small ring in next year. Several facilities have already been integrated into the city's transport infrastructure. It is assumed that the road will become one with the metropolitan subway. This information was announced by the Deputy Head of the Department of Transport Hamid Bulatov. According to the official, the passengers themselves will not even feel the difference, because they will be able to use a single ticket.

The Moscow Ring Railway will include 31 stops, 21 of which will have a full-fledged transport interchange network, and at 17 stop pavilions, passengers will be able to switch to the usual line. At 9 stops, they organize the possibility of transferring to all operating directions of suburban trains, except for Kyiv. The small MKZH ring will significantly reduce all flows of metro lines and provide the possibility of delivering passengers to the main metropolitan highways.

On the outer and inner sides of the doors there are special stickers informing that before entering or exiting to open the doors, you must press the appropriate button.

Thermal curtain / Climate control system

In cold weather, electric trains on the Moscow Central Circle will turn on a thermal curtain on the doors. The thermal curtain turns on automatically at stops, when the doors are opened.

“Warm air is removed directly in front of the doors in the car, creating a thermal curtain and preventing cold air from getting inside,” the press service of Russian Railways.

The thermal curtain will protect the car from sudden changes temperatures and will be able to maintain a comfortable temperature for passengers at any time of the year.

MCC cars are provided with automatic system heating, which is activated when the ambient temperature drops below the air temperature in the train. The climate control of trains has an integrated system of antibacterial air disinfection, which will protect passengers from all kinds of infections and viruses in the cars, which is undoubtedly a topical issue for those. public transport solution

You have probably already paid attention to the new scheme that appeared in the Moscow metro on December 21, 2015. The scheme now has a new ring with an abbreviation that is not quite usual for the metro. MKZHD - Moscow Ring Railway - is another ring in Moscow, which is designed to unload the ever-growing passenger traffic of the capital.

Why is the railway line diagram present on the metro map?

It is explained simply. MKZHD, scheduled for launch in autumn 2016, will form a single transport hub with the Moscow Metro. Another type of land transport will appear in Moscow - city train, closely linked to the metro infrastructure and existing railway stations. This type of public transport is widely used in major cities around the world.

Of the 31 stations of the Moscow Ring Road, at 17 it will be possible to transfer to the metro, and practically without going outside, since the crossings connecting the railway stations and metro stations will be covered and form a single transport terminal - Transport Interchange Hubs (TPU). At 10 stations there will be transfers to other railway stations.

The fare will be the same as in the subway. You don't have to pay anything for a transfer.

Trains of a new type from 5 to 10 wagons with a convenient tambourless design will run along the Moscow Ring Railway. Estimated capacity will be at least 1250 people. The head cars will be equipped with seats for persons with disabilities and a system for boarding and disembarking people in wheelchairs.

The trains will also have WI-FI with free internet, tinted windows, information boards on different languages, climate control system. The head car will have a toilet for passengers and the locomotive crew.

At the stations, parking lots will be created for motorists changing to electric trains.

And finally, the best part - planned traffic interval - 6 minutes!

January 2016

The Moscow Central Ring of the MCC - this is the official name of the new one that opens today transport system. Adjustments have been made to the intervals of trains - 15 minutes, and during peak hours - 6 minutes. Out of 31 stations, 26 are opening today - Vladykino, Botanical Garden, Rostokino, Belokamennaya, Rokossovsky Boulevard, Lokomotiv, Izmailovo, Enthusiasts Highway, Andronovka, Nizhegorodskaya, Novokhokhlovskaya, Ugreshskaya, Avtozavodskaya, ZIL, Verkhnie Kotly, Krymskaya, Gagarin Square, Luzhniki, Kutuzovskaya, Business Center, Shelepikha, Khoroshevo, Streshnevo, Baltic, Likhobory, Okruzhnaya. The remaining 5 - Dubrovka, Zorge, Falcon Mountain, Koptevo and Panfilovskaya - will open at the end of the year.

On September 10, passenger traffic was launched along. One of its stations, Likhobory, is located near the NATI platform of the Oktyabrskaya railway. Last week I and my colleague Zelenograd infoportal Vasily Povolnov (mostly his photos are used in the post) finally visited this and other stations that Zelenograd residents can theoretically use to transfer to the MCC to see how everything works there and tell our readers about it.

The MCC station "Likhobory" (until this summer it was known as "Nikolaevskaya") is in the line of sight from the NATI platform.

If you came by train from Zelenograd, you need to get off the platform to the right side in the direction of travel and go along the path along the railway towards the Leningradsky railway station.

The exit from the platform is located at the level of the third or fourth cars. If you want to save time on transplanting, sit in them. There is also a sign in the direction of the MCC. To the left of it, the buildings of the Likhobor station are visible.

The distance from the exit from the NATI platform to the entrance to the overpass of the Likhobory station is just over 200 meters. However, keep in mind that the entrance to the transition is not the entrance to the station itself.

After 120 meters, the path along the OZhD (in the photo, the view is in the opposite direction - to the NATI platform) turns right.

Around the corner of the fence, the view of the Likhobory station opens up again. The overpass is within easy reach.

But this is the most unpleasant part of the shortcut. In the vicinity of NATI and Likhobor, the North-East Chord (aka the Northern Rocade) is being built, which by the end of 2018 must tie New Leningradka with Dmitrovsky highway. Because of this, the asphalt is further covered with a layer of dirt, which is transported around the neighborhood by construction equipment. Apparently, in the future, electric trains will be built here for passengers underground crossing. But for now, this is it. Such a cool infrastructure project as the MCC is, of course, not to the face.

Landscaping work continues around the Likhobory station itself. However, the area in front of the entrance to the transition is already paved with “ceremonial” tiles.

Now we have to climb to the height of a three-story building with high ceilings. There is an elevator in the passage, but so far it, like the metal detector frames at the entrance, is not working (all data in the material is given as of September 20). Therefore, you have to go on foot. At the same time, there are no channels (skids for wheelchairs) on the stairs. One can only sympathize with the one who manages to be here, for example, with a baby carriage.

From the top floor there is a view of the NATI platform and the construction site of the North-East Chord.

And in the other direction - to the platforms of the Likhobory station.

To get to the platform, you need to hit the road on the transition above the railway. Only not to the end, but approximately to the middle.
Note that the transition (at least for now) is not an insulated structure. By design, it is similar to the elevated passage through the Central Avenue near the Zelenograd prefecture, and ventilation “holes in the floor” are hidden behind the railing on the sides. You can't get warm here in the winter. Compared to the transfer from the train to the metro at the Leningradsky railway station, this, of course, is a serious minus.

After about 90 meters on the right in the passage there will be glass doors leading to the station lobby.

Opposite, you can admire the bridge at the intersection of the Moscow Central Circle and the Oktyabrskaya railway.

With navigation, the situation here is much better than at the Butyrskaya metro station, which recently opened at the Ostankino platform (for transfers from the railway to the new stations of the Lyublino-Dmitrovskaya metro line, see separate post ). In any case, the way back to the NATI platform can be found without difficulty. Here is a sign that will meet you when you exit the glass doors. Then along the way there will be a few more signs.

In the lobby, behind the glass doors, there are turnstiles that are not working yet (let me remind you that travel through the MCC is free for the first month) and descents to two platforms (there are elevators, stairs, and escalators). Here you need to decide which platform you want to get on. If you are going west outside ring) - in the direction of "Koptevo", "Baltic", "Streshnevo" and so on - you turn right. If to the east (by inside) - to Okruzhnaya, Vladykino, Botanical Gardens and then to the left.

To help you, the MCC scheme (clickable)

The most obvious way to get down to the platform is the escalator. Unlike elevators, they are running. Each platform is connected to the lobby by two escalators: one goes up, the other goes down.

Estimating travel time on foot is not an easy task, but according to our estimates, you can get from the door of the train on the NATI platform to the platform at the Likhobory station in 6-8 minutes. In the opposite direction, the road will take a little longer, since you will still have to cross the bridge to the far platform to NATI.

While we are waiting for our “Lastochka” to go on a trip around the MCC, let us remind you that in the future, a large transport hub - with shops, parking lots and even a hockey rink. And, of course, ground public transport stops. The bulk of the TPU buildings will be located on the side of the Cherepanovykh passage (that is, opposite from the NATI platform). It is supposed to look like this (the image is clickable).

And this is what the place looks like now.

Road works are being carried out on the Cherepanovykh passage.

The TPU is planned to be built approximately by 2025. As part of this project, it is planned to reconstruct and extend the NATI platform towards the center of Moscow. This means that electric trains of the Leningrad direction will stop even closer to the MCC, and the transfer from NATI to Likhobory will become even shorter and more convenient.
And now let's return to the Likhobory station. Both platforms have awnings and a decent amount of benches and bins. The surface is tiled, with a strip of yellow tactile tiles laid along the edge of the platform.

In general, everything is stylish, neat and, if we talk about platforms, and not about transitions, then, in my opinion, a little retro.

All design is in the corporate style of Russian Railways, which operates this road together with the Moscow Metro (I remind you that you can pay for travel with metro tickets, while the transfer between the metro and the MCC will be free for an hour and a half).

Electronic boards show the direction of travel (by the name of the next station) and the time until the arrival of the train. Recall that the declared intervals for trains on the MCC are 6 minutes during peak hours and 11-15 minutes during off-peak hours. If necessary, these intervals promise to reduce. And it seems that they are already thinking about the implementation of such a possibility.

The platform from which you can leave Likhobor towards Koptevo, that is, to the west, has tracks on both sides. But trains come on the left side (in the direction of travel from the escalator). " External paths” are needed, apparently, for official purposes and freight traffic, which will remain on the ring. View back towards the passage leading to NATI.

And here is our train. It's been about 15 minutes since the previous one left. True, three electric trains proceeded in the opposite direction during this time.

As a rolling stock on the Moscow Central Ring, "Swallows" are used. I made a big post about how are these trains . Inside the "Lastochka" on the MCC, they are no different from those that run to Kryukovo and Tver and are already well known to many Zelenograd residents, except for pasted diagrams and announcements.
Scheme of the MCC in the car:

MCC and metro map:

Bicycles are allowed on the MCC, and there are stickers on the trains, but special fasteners for two-wheeled transport, we did not find in the local "Swallows". As well as the intention to twist the “extra”, third seats, so that all cars have a 2 + 2 layout, has not yet been fulfilled.

Empty trains do not seem to run on the MCC. We were on the ring from about 17:00 to 18:30, that is, almost in the evening "rush hour", and in all the "Swallows" we saw, some of the passengers rode standing up.

The nearest stop to Likhobory, if you go west, is Koptevo. However, it turned out to be one of the five stations that did not have time to open before the start of traffic on the MCC even in draft form. Therefore, for now, the next stop after Likhobor is Baltiyskaya. Until the summer of this year, it was called "Voikovskaya" - after the metro station located nearby.
The transfer between Baltiyskaya and Voykovskaya is considered one of the longest on the MCC. The vestibules of the two stations are located more than 700 meters apart. In order for a subway passenger to transfer here to the Moscow Central Circle, he should exit the subway through exit No. 1 (from the last car when moving towards the center, then from the glass doors to the right) and go along the Leningradskoye highway towards the region - to the Metropolis shopping center .

"Baltiyskaya" is located at the intersection of the MCC with the Leningrad highway. The station has two exits: one towards Admiral Makarov Street, the other towards Novopetrovsky proezd, Metropolis and Voykovskaya metro station.

Moreover, the branch of the transition, which leads from the MCC station towards Voykovskaya, is docked with the Metropolis building. And although the signs are sent for passage to the metro to the street, in fact, a significant part of the path can be done in warmth, passing through the entire building shopping center. Then, only about 200 meters will remain to be overcome along the street to the entrance to the subway. Of course, this advice is also relevant for those who go from the metro to the MCC.

There is only one platform on the Baltic and, accordingly, it is wider.

Escalators and stairs for descent / ascent between the platform and the transition are located in one place. There are also elevators, but, like on Likhobory, they are not working yet.

If you, having a baby stroller with you, decide to leave Baltiyskaya in the direction opposite to Metropolis, you will face the same problem as at the transfer at NATI - there is no alternative to descend the stairs without channels.

View from the MCC platform to the side facade of the Metropolis.

If the Metrostroy website contains current sketches of TPU projects on the Moscow Central Circle, then the final form of the Baltiyskaya station will look like this. There will be another transition in both directions from the other edge of the platform.

The next station after the "Baltic" - "Streshnevo". Previously, it was called "Volokolamskaya" because it is located at the intersection of the MCC with the Volokolamsk highway. Theoretically, one of Zelenograd residents could come here by car, and then go on their way along the MCC. However, this option is unlikely to become widespread. Not only will it suit few people by itself, it’s also not clear where to leave the car in this case - there is no semblance of an intercepting parking here.

Moreover, a transition has not yet been completed at Streshnevo, which could lead to the 1st Krasnogorsky passage, which is potentially the most convenient way to get to this station from Zelenograd.

As part of the creation of a transport hub here, the Streshnevo MCC station will be connected by a transition to the platform of the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo Riga direction, which will be moved several hundred meters for this. However, this has nothing to do with trips to / from Zelenograd (only if it’s for trips to my country house :)).
Visualization of the Streshnevo transport hub project (image from the MCC website)

Scheme of the Streshnevo transport hub (clickable image from the Metrostroy website)

In the meantime, the Streshnevo station looks almost like the twin Likhobor: the same two platforms on the sides of the main passage...

And a typical (but at the same time, in my opinion, stylish) lobby building with escalators, adjacent to the transition.

There are also combined “ring” metro and MCC schemes everywhere. For some reason, there were no such schemes at Likhobory.

As in all other places, active construction and finishing work is still going on at the Streshnevo station.

Unfortunately, I have not had time to drive around the entire ring yet, although it would be very interesting to do this. Well, I hope it still does. However, from the point of view of Zelenograd residents, of course, the visited stations are of the greatest interest.

At the end of the story, I summarize a few key points.
1. The MCC has started — and it's wonderful. In fact, a new type of public transport appeared in Moscow, which significantly increased the connectivity of existing lines and routes. It is already obvious that, contrary to the gloomy forecasts of skeptics, the ring is in demand by the townspeople.
2. Many residents of Zelenograd have new options for building routes when traveling to Moscow. But a lot here depends on the number of electric trains stopping at NATI. For example, on September 20, it was impossible to leave Kryukovo for NATI from 8:56 to 16:05 - more than 7 hours! But in the coming days, the situation should change: the number of electric trains stopping at NATI doubled .
3. The road was opened with a lot of minor imperfections - work is still underway almost everywhere. For the majority of passengers, this is not scary, but the MCC is practically not suitable for people with limited mobility. If for some reason you experience difficulties with movement, you should think very carefully about how you will storm the numerous stairs, even devoid of wheelchair skids.

What is known about one of the largest transport projects in Russia

On September 10, on City Day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin launched traffic on the Moscow Central Circle (MCC). More than 100 billion rubles have been invested in one of the most ambitious Russian transport projects, but much has not yet been completed. RBC presents a dossier on the MCC

1. What was launched

On the Day of the City, for the first time, the Moscow Central Ring, a city railway with a length of 54 km, accepted passengers. In total, the MCC will have 31 stations (the exact name is a transport interchange hub, TPU). 17 of them will be connected to metro stations, including covered galleries from the MCC to the metro at 11 stations; in the mayor's office, such transitions are called "dry feet". There will be nine transfer points from the MCC to commuter trains (without integration with the ring, only the Kyiv commuter line will remain). During rush hour, trains will appear at the stations every six minutes, during normal times - once every 11-15 minutes; The train will make a full circle in an hour and a half. Boards on the platforms will show the arrival time of the next train. At the stations, they promise to install ports for recharging gadgets.

After the launch of the Russian Railways project, the entire railway infrastructure will depart, and the city delegates the ownership of the platforms and transport hubs (TPU) to the State Unitary Enterprise Moscow Metro. In the first month of the MCC's operation, travel on it will be free, then it will be possible to enter the MCC station using cards that are the same for Moscow public transport.

2. Who invented

Moscow District railway, connecting the industrial zones on the outskirts of Moscow, began to be built in 1902. It was launched in 1908, later than planned, because there were interruptions in funding due to the Russo-Japanese War. Mainly on MOZhD went freight transportation. Passenger trains also ran, but in 1934, with the development of tram traffic in the city and the start of construction of the metro, the ring was closed for people.

With the withdrawal of most factories outside of Moscow, this cargo line became unnecessary. At the end of 2007, Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin signed an agreement to work on a project to convert the freight ring into a passenger line. It was planned that all work will be completed in 2010-2011. The deadline has been pushed back several times. In fact, construction began in 2012.

3. What will the trains be like?

The MCC will run about 30 trains. As "city trains" use "Swallows", developed by Siemens on the order of the Russian Railways for the transport of passengers during the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi. The current head of the Moscow Metro, Dmitry Pegov, led the project to launch Lastochka in Sochi when he worked for Russian Railways.

The train has five cars (expandable to ten). All “Lastochka” for the metropolitan ring will be equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, there will be special places for bicycles, which, unlike the metro, can be transported unassembled along the MCC. Each Lastochka will have two toilets.

4. How much did you spend

By the time the MCC was launched, more than 100 billion rubles had been spent on the project. Russian Railways became the main investor: the state-owned company invested 74 billion rubles in the construction of railway infrastructure. (they planned to spend 54 billion rubles, but the demolition of facilities and the transfer of communications cost unexpectedly expensive, a source familiar with the construction of the MCC told RBC).

The Moscow government spent 19 billion rubles. for the construction of 31 ring stations and their integration with metro stations. Another 10.6 billion rubles. spent on the reconstruction of overpasses (the Volokolamsk overpass became the most expensive, it cost 5 billion rubles - the authorities had to change the windows in those closest to the overpass residential buildings for soundproofing).

The city will pay RZD 3.8 billion rubles a year. for transport services for passengers on the new ring. The parties have already signed a 15-year contract.

In the approved project, near 11 transfer hubs, commercial facilities were to be built at the expense of investors - shopping and business centers, hotels. Owned by the government of Moscow Management Company JSC "MKZhD" must register for its own "daughters" property rights to land for commercial construction and then auctioned off to investors.

By the time the traffic on the ring was launched, only one such section had gone under the hammer: for 1.14 billion rubles. Pioneer Group received a 100% stake in Botanichesky Sad LLC and the right to develop the territory near the Botanichesky Sad transport hub. The company, which is implementing the LIFE Botanical Garden residential project nearby, is going to build a shopping and office center and an apart-hotel there.

“All other sites for the construction of the transfer hub will be implemented during 2016-2017. We expect to earn at these auctions at least 14 billion rubles, a maximum of 19 billion rubles, depending on the situation. That is, we will return almost all the funds that the city invested in the construction of the technological part of the stations, ”says RBC’s interlocutor in the Moscow City Hall, adding that the construction of the transfer hub will give impetus to the development of the territories around the MCC by developers. According to the interlocutor of RBC, by the end of 2016 it is planned to put up for auction four or five objects, the rest - next year.

6. What will give a new ring

“By 2020, when all projects for integration with the metro and electric trains are completed, projects for shopping and office centers are implemented, we plan that passenger traffic will amount to 300 million people a year,” a source in the Moscow City Hall told RBC, adding that the same the number of passengers per year is transported by the operating Metro Circle Line. In the meantime, the new ring will carry about 75 million people a year, the City Hall calculated.

The launch of the MCC will unload the metro, especially in the center, and increase the accessibility of a number of areas where there have been no metro stations so far, the mayor's office is sure. The head of the Moscow Construction Complex, Marat Khusnullin, shared estimates that the busy Koltsevaya metro line would become 15% freer - people would not have to travel from the outskirts to the center to change trains at Koltsevaya. The MCC website provides calculations: the trip for the average metro passenger will be 20 minutes shorter.

Egor Muleev, a researcher at the Institute of Transport Economics and Transport Policy at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, emphasizes the ambiguity of such calculations: according to him, the benefits of launching the MCC are like bike lanes in Moscow: for some this will really make it easier to move around, but for many it will not change anything.

“The ring is inserted without full-fledged transfer nodes. I strongly doubt that even in the coming years it will be in demand by passengers to the extent that the authorities are counting on,” says Pavel Zyuzin, senior researcher at the Center for Research on Transport Problems in Megacities at the Higher School of Economics. - There are questions about transfers at many radii. They are located at a distance of 500-700 m from the MCC stations.”

Parking-and-ride parking will appear near four MCC stations this year (Photo: Oleg Yakovlev / RBC)

However, according to the expert, the new ring will be very useful for residents of certain areas of Moscow. “On the Yaroslavl highway in the direction of Bogorodskoye and Lefortovo, it will ease the situation. It will unload some northwestern sectors, Koptevo and other areas,” the expert lists. “But as for the south, here the MCC is very close to the Metro Circle Line, and the difference between them is small.” Also, the launch of the MCC, in his opinion, will make it easier for residents of individual cities in the Moscow region, especially for passengers traveling from Mytishchi and Korolev.

What didn't get done

By the day of the official launch of the MCC, the builders did not have time to prepare seven stations for operation. Their list was published by TASS, citing a source in the Moscow government. The first trains of the ring will pass Koptevo, Panfilovskaya, Zorge, Khoroshevo, Izmailovo, Andronovka and Dubrovka without stopping. RBC confirmed this information own source in the project management company OAO MKZHD.

A month and a half before City Day, a high-ranking RBC source in the Moscow government claimed that “when launching, the entire infrastructure will be ready, all platforms at 31 stopping points.” “This is a must-have, and there is no doubt that it will be ready for launch,” RBC’s interlocutor assured. However, on September 2, Hamid Bulatov, First Deputy Head of the Department of Transport, told reporters that the opening of seven MCC stations on the day of the start of traffic along the ring "is in doubt", promising that a full list of stations will be announced a week before the grand opening, which will begin to function immediately.

But the official list of finished stations was not announced on Thursday, when less than two days remained before the ceremony. RBC's source at Moscow Railways OJSC said that the final decision on the number of stations that will be available to passengers on the first day of the MCC will be made only a day before the opening of the ring. At the same time, the interlocutor said that seven out of 31 stations “will definitely not open”, and there are “doubts” about two more. necessary equipment. Maybe we will open 24 stations at once, and then we will close two for a short time for finishing work, ”a RBC source at the Moscow Ring Railway told RBC, adding that before the end of the year, “all MCC stations will definitely be available to passengers.”

Most of the covered galleries are not ready for transition to platforms for metro trains and three transfer points from the MCC to the metro. But these facilities, unlike the stations themselves, were originally planned to be built after the launch of traffic along the MCC.

Which trains will not run

Initially, other trains with a bird's name - Ivolgi - were supposed to run along the MCC. Tender for the organization of the movement of electric trains along the Moscow Ring Road for 15 years for 57 billion rubles. won the company TsPPK - an operator of commuter trains, co-owned by the vice-mayor of Moscow, head of the transport department Maxim Liksutov. In an interview with RBC, Liksutov stated that the TsPPK won the tender due to a more favorable offer for Moscow, and assured that he himself, after switching to the civil service, did not follow the business of his former companies. “Three companies took part in the competition, including Russian Railways themselves, which offered less favorable conditions for the city and therefore lost,” Liksutov explained to RBC in February 2015.

The TsPPK company planned to conclude a contract with Transmashholding (the company's co-owners are Iskander Makhmudov and Andrey Bokarev, until 2011 Liksutov was also a co-owner of this company) for the production of Ivolga electric trains. The trains were positioned as competitors of the Lastochka, while being completely made of domestic materials and cheaper by 40-50%.

But Ivolga was unable to pass certification, and without it it was impossible to put trains of this model on the MCC. A representative of JSC VNIIZhT, which is testing the Ivolga prototype, refused to tell RBC why the train was not certified.

In January 2016, a few months after Oleg Belozerov replaced Vladimir Yakunin as head of Russian Railways, it turned out that the rights to serve passengers and the $56 billion contract would also go to Russian Railways. As a source in Russian Railways explains, Oleg Belozerov considered the situation unfair for Russian Railways: “It turned out that the state built the entire infrastructure with its own money, on which Liksutov’s business partners would earn money, who would supply trains and receive money for transportation. In mid-January 2016, the CPPK unexpectedly decided to assign the contract for transport services to Russian Railways.”

Mikhail Khromov, director general of the CPPK, said that Russian Railways and the city authorities were the initiators of the assignment of the agreement - "they were convincing enough for us to agree." Officially, Russian Railways also admits that they received the contract after "multilateral consultations with the participation of the Moscow government." Now Russian Railways will carry MCC passengers on their Lastochkas.

RBC's source in the Moscow government, however, claims that the Ivolga can still return to the project. “If Ivolga passes certification, then Russian Railways will be able to replace Lastochka with it,” says RBC’s interlocutor. - In our contract it is not fixed that for all 15 years there will be only "Swallow". In my opinion, this is a question of the efficiency of the rolling stock, the cost of maintenance, etc.”

TsPPK eventually got only a contract for 2.1 billion rubles. to organize the sale of tickets and the work of controllers for a period of four years. However, the ticketing system of the new ring will also be fully integrated into the urban transport system, rather than the suburban transport, which is the focus of the CPPK.
