How to wear loafers for women. What to wear with women's loafers? Photos, how to choose an image, examples. With a black dress

Many decades ago, the women's wardrobe was replenished with things that were originally created for men. First, women won the right to wear trousers, and after them - men's shirts, sweaters. And then women appropriated practical and comfortable men's shoes. An example is loafers, known to all fashionistas in the world.

Today, it is difficult for some to imagine that at the very beginning of their journey, loafers were exclusively men's shoes, because today they are found in women's wardrobe much more often than in men's. Be that as it may, loafers today are at the peak of popularity. Therefore, every modern lady should know what to wear with loafers in order to look stylish, attractive and appropriate. In this article, we will reveal the secrets of the right combinations with loafers, as well as provide you with photos of the most successful looks with these shoes, which will help you better understand how to use them.

Loafers are the hallmark of the Gucci house. It was these interchangeable fashion designers who brought these shoes to the fore in the second half of the 20th century. Thanks to them, loafers have received the status of classic shoes and to this day do not leave the catwalks and are the objects of desire of every fashionista.

There are two main types of these shoes. A distinctive feature of the first type are leather tassels that decorate the front of the shoe. These loafers are called Tassel Loafers. The second type is called penny loafers. They have a leather or suede jumper with a slot on the front. In the old days, students inserted small coins into this slot, which is why this type of shoe got its name.

In appearance and shape, loafers are similar to another equally popular type of footwear - moccasins. But to distinguish real loafers is very simple - their sole is always hard and it has a heel, even if it is quite low.

Modern designers and fashion stores offer a wide range of loafers, made in a variety of colors and variations. Fashionistas around the world can choose from discreet classic black or beige models or bright, eye-catching neon options. In a rich variety of prints, drawings, patterns, decor for every taste. Usually loafers are made of leather. But the material can be subjected to various types of processing:

  • patent or suede loafers;
  • shoes made of reptile skin or with its imitation;
  • plain loafers made of smooth leather, etc.

Some models for women copy men's ones, representing classic-shaped shoes with low heels. Other models are made in a much looser style and may have high heels, wedges, platforms, etc. Therefore, we can say that the heel on women's loafers has a different height. Before putting on such shoes, you should think about whether they will suit you, as well as what to wear with women's loafers, the photos of which you will see below. Indeed, not everyone is recommended to wear loafers, and creating successful looks with them is not as easy as it might seem.

Loafers conquered women all over the world, first of all, with their convenience. In addition, they look quite stylish and attractive. What else do you need for the perfect shoes? Comfort and style are what distinguish loafers. But unfortunately, they are not suitable for everyone. Restrictions primarily apply to high-heeled loafers. It is not recommended to wear them constantly for a long time, like all other stilettos.

No matter how comfortable such shoes may seem, wearing them for a long time leads to problems with the back and legs, which negatively affects the health of the woman as a whole. Heeled loafers look and feel very comfortable on the feet, but that doesn't detract from the common shortcomings of high-heeled shoes. Therefore, you can wear them for a moderate time. It is completely recommended to abandon such models for women in position, as well as for ladies who have circulatory disorders in the legs or a predisposition to them. You should not worry about this, because you can always opt for much more comfortable, but no less stylish loafers with medium or low heels.

If your torso is longer than your legs, and this is noticeable from the side, then low-speed models are not suitable for you, especially if the figure has a pronounced male silhouette. Girls with full legs, wide calves and ankles should also be careful with the choice of low-heeled loafers. Such shoes will only make an unsuccessful accent on this zone, which will lead to a weighting of the figure. The silhouette will be rough, unfeminine.

Owners of too thin ankles may face a similar problem. Loafers will also unfavorably emphasize this feature, create a disproportion in the silhouette and look rather rude. Girls with large feet should not wear loafers. Still, the style of loafers remains predominantly masculine, it cannot be called 100% feminine. The softness of female images with loafers is created by mixing a slightly rough, masculine style of shoes and a delicate female figure. If the size of your foot is far from Cinderella's, then the desired effect will not be achieved, the image will turn out to be frankly rude, and the feet will seem even larger.

These are the main recommendations related to classic loafers. However, each girl can decide for herself whether she should wear these fashionable and practical shoes or not. In any case, the modern range of loafers is so wide that every lady has a chance to find a model that best suits her style and anatomical features.

So, loafers make up the optimal neighborhood with things related to the style of casual, boho, ethno. Today, it is quite possible to supplement them with a business casual suit, just like jeans. Leather items also go well with loafers. Even for evening outfits, you can pick up matching high-heeled loafers and it will look amazing.

Loafers are pretty versatile. Today they are worn with most of the usual things. For those who don't like to bother with creating new fashionable looks, we can say that loafers fit perfectly into all outfits that require ballet flats on their feet. Just replace ballet shoes with loafers and you will get a new bright and stylish look with a completely different mood. Most often, jeans and skinny trousers, loose and classic trousers, any skirts, sportswear, loose-style trouser suits, any shorts are involved in such suits. As outerwear, you can wear raincoats, leather and denim jackets, fur or knitwear vests, trench coats, coats with a cropped hem.

Loafers are usually worn on bare feet. But if necessary, they can be worn with socks, stockings, tights. It's just that if you wear loafers on any hosiery, try to keep it tight enough.

Modern stylists, bloggers and fashion reviewers recommend being careful when shaping looks with loafers with a tassel on the front. It has been noticed that even the freshest and most unwashed looks can look old-fashioned if they are unsuccessfully supplemented with such shoes. Bulkyness appears in the silhouette, harmony is lost, things seem out of place relative to each other.

Therefore, it is necessary to seriously think before wearing tassel loafers, especially if you like to experiment rather than wear classic combinations. Still, jeans and a simple T-shirt or trousers with a shirt remain the best option for such shoes. You can, no doubt, wear a dress without a pattern of a simple cut, complementing them with simple tights. You definitely shouldn’t wear bright catchy things, bold colors with loafers, with a tassel, because such an image will turn out to be sloppy, inorganic, vulgar.

A popular and really attractive model is leopard loafers. They have thousands of fans around the world. This shoe itself is bright and noticeable. It is she who will play the main role in any set. Therefore, you should not try to supplement or overshadow it with something. She doesn't need it. When putting on such loafers, remember that the rest of the details of the outfit should be restrained, made in the same scale, without decor and patterns. Again, the best option is simple jeans with no extra details and a loose-fitting plain T-shirt. Simple skirts and light dresses are also suitable. You can see more options for how to wear women's loafers in the photos presented here.

Patent leather shoes are reclaiming the pinnacle of fashionable Olympus. They triumphantly returned to the catwalks and wardrobes of fashionistas. Their advantage is that they bring a touch of solemnity and chic even to everyday attire. Respectability, elegance, chic - all this corresponds to patent leather shoes.

But with patent leather loafers, you have to be careful. They cannot be combined with patent leather accessories, even with bags. In general, no matter what bag you take, it should be different in color from patent loafers, because in such a composition it is the shoes that will be the center of attention, and they do not need to be supplemented. If you are wearing a skirt or dress with loafers, then you will need simple tight matching tights.

For the summer season, patent loafers are not the best fit, but they fit perfectly into the autumn-spring bows. You can safely combine shorts, short skirts with tight plain tights without glitter or patterns. This combination is always advantageous and beautiful. The material of the skirt or shorts should be quite dense - cashmere or tweed will do just fine.

To showcase loafers, wear cropped jeans or trousers. These shoes go well with any outerwear, but it is best to give preference to more classic options: cashmere coats, tweed jackets, wool jackets, etc. You can also wear jackets.

Another win-win combination of loafers is outerwear made of matte leather. Wearing a leather coat, raincoat or jacket, and complementing them with loafers, you will definitely be in trend.

Loafers, complemented by a thick sole, may seem too rough to some. But they can make your femininity stand out if worn correctly. Combine the incongruous: chiffon, spacious styles, delicate A-line silhouettes with rough loafers with thick soles! The result will see you with its organicity and precisely calibrated style.

Black loafers

Black loafers are the most classic option. Therefore, you can wear them with a large number of different clothes. But even here there are pitfalls. For example, dark brown clothes do not go well with black loafers.

You can add brightness to the image with black loafers using bright socks, stockings, tights. Such a duet will look original and bold.

White loafers

White loafers are the perfect solution for the summer season. And here it is simply impossible not to recall the original purpose of the loafers: they were part of the working suit of sailors, and then they were adopted by amateur yachtsmen. Therefore, in a marine style, white loafers feel at home. You'll never look ridiculous or out of place by pairing a tank top and shorts with white loafers. Instead of shorts, you can choose cropped summer trousers, jeans.

Red loafers

Red is an energetic and self-sufficient color. Shoes must be handled with care. Red shoes can make an image impeccably stylish, or it can ruin it completely. Naturally, red loafers in a festive outfit should be given a key role. A bright white simple outfit will suit them, without unnecessary details and color variety. For example, white trousers and a shirt or a white simple dress.

The red color will also complement the nautical style because red is one of its primary colors. Combine white pants, vests and red loafers and always stay in trend!

For bold fashionistas, designers offer non-standard combinations of red loafers with green, pink and orange things. For a successful image, the outfit should contain things of the indicated tones. At the same time, the saturation of the shades used should not be inferior to the saturation of the color of the shoes.

Classic Beige Loafers

Along with black, beige loafers are a classic option. They are best worn in pastel colors, slightly brighter than the color of the shoes.

Beige loafers look elegant and elegant with a white suit, for example, trousers and a sweater. As for outerwear, a beige or white raincoat is perfect for such shoes.

Heeled loafers

In recent seasons, loafers with heels have gained particular popularity. They attract with their convenience, original appearance and pronounced femininity. The heel width is usually medium, not thick as it used to be. The heel can also be triangular or thin.

The rules for combining loafers with heels are the same as for other models. However, the best option would be a classic trouser suit or a strict pencil skirt with a blouse. Accessories such as a tie or bow tie, tweed vest will help to give this image additional chic.

We told you the basic rules for combining loafers. We hope this will help you create stylish and original looks with this famous shoe!

When it comes to shoes, the practicality and comfort of the model come first. Girls love to show off in stilettos, but for everyday life they prefer more comfortable shoes. It is to this that women's loafers are referred. You can walk more than one kilometer in them, and at the same time your legs will not know what calluses are.

Loafers, or loafers, are shoes without fasteners and laces, with a rounded toe and decorated with a leather tassel. Translated from English, the word loafer means "loafer." The appearance is very similar to moccasins, but the difference lies in the fact that loafers have a hard sole and heel.

Male and female

The classic men's shoes of this model are shoes with a small heel and a wide sole, made of a material such as suede in an exceptionally brown color.

Women's shoes (loafers, in particular) are not only made of suede, but also patent leather. More expensive shoes are made from the skin of exotic fauna. There are no restrictions for women in terms of heels.

Story

Loafers were considered part of the working clothes of sailors in Britain. They were called idlers (in the translation from English) due to the riotous lifestyle of those same sailors who liked to sit up in alcoholic bars and often did not have time to board their ships. Similar shoes were also worn by poor people from Norway while fishing. But their loafers were made exclusively from genuine leather and without laces.

In the 30s, the bow of the loafers began to be supplemented with a jumper, which had a slot. Passing exams students hid a small penny there for good luck, and sailors for a hangover for a rainy day.

In the 20th century, women's loafers were flat. Models with heels appeared only in 2009. They became a popular trend in the 2011 season.

At the presentation of the collections of the new spring-summer season 2 years ago, the famous couturier Yves Saint Laurent offers the world a new color of loafers - leopard.

For the autumn-winter season of the same year, fashion brand designers decorated women's loafers with rhinestones and stones.

Combination methods

What are loafers worn with? Women's fantasies in the combination of things and shoes know no bounds.

Romantic look

Who said that loafers are superfluous when creating such an image? Often incongruous at first glance, elements of clothing eventually create a real masterpiece.

Thin, light and lace skirts with fabric loafers in delicate colors will add bohemianism to the image.

If for you a romantic look is associated primarily with heels, then there is a way out. These wonderful shoes with heels hug the foot so skillfully that in the end it receives a minimum of load and a maximum of pleasant sensations.

A model decorated with bows will create an image of childlike innocence on the first date.

In the summer, you can wear them with denim shorts, and in order to emphasize the slenderness of the legs, you can safely add knee-highs to the image.

The stars choose

Although many people liked such shoes, celebrities and just rich people brought them popularity. It was in them that Audrey Hepburn was shod in the movie "Funny Face". John Kennedy and Grace Kelly could not imagine their daily life without a pair of such shoes.

In the men's shoe model, Michael Jackson held more than one of his concerts. Looking at Jessica Alba, you might think that loafers are produced only for her. Wonder shoes are perfect for any of her looks.

Even the queen herself chose black women's loafers for her business royal look.

Modern models

Today's models are much different from the original ones. They are more like moccasins, but they do not have such a soft and flat sole. Modern loafers have a heel of several centimeters, but models with a heel of 12 centimeters have long been created. The only thing that has remained unchanged is its durability. They are worn by people of all ages and social statuses.

If you can’t imagine your life without ballet flats, but they are already so tired and you want something new, you can safely buy loafers in light shades. And it will not be difficult to choose the necessary model, since the most diverse and unusual materials are used for their manufacture.

Modern fashion prioritizes convenience. In summer, loafers can be a practical and beautiful option for every day. Walking in heels from morning to evening is extremely uncomfortable, and even many shoes without heels lead to foot fatigue or calluses. Loafers are soft and comfortable slippers in which your walk will always be easy, and no distances will be terrible. From this article you will find out which loafers are in fashion this year for men and women, and also seewhat to wear with loafers in the photo.

Casual style is in fashion now, and loafers are an integral part of it. These are perhaps the most comfortable summer shoes. Sneakers can get hot on warm summer days, but sandals and pumps, and even flats, aren't as comfortable or versatile as loafers. Loafers are usually made from soft leather or suede. They sit comfortably on the leg and allow you to feel comfortable throughout the day.

Despite their simplicity, loafers are very different. Color, material, shape and additional decorations may vary between models. This summer, everyone will be able to pick up loafers to their liking. To navigate the large assortment, pay attention to the most relevant models in the new season.

  • Classic black loafers are a versatile option for any outfit as part of a casual style. Mostly, it is worth choosing such loafers from matte or patent leather. Black color will look great with tanned skin and will suit almost any summer outfit, with the exception of completely light outfits.
  • Pointed toe loafers will also be in trend this summer. They look more sophisticated and elegant than classic-shaped loafers. This model resembles men's shoes and refers to androgynous style. Paired with dresses and light skirts, these loafers can only further emphasize your femininity, and paired with tailored trousers and a shirt, these shoes will help you create a stylish modern look in a minimalist style.
  • If you want to look a little more dressy even within the casual style, you should pay attention to glossy patent leather loafers. Such shoes will give even the most simple image exquisite notes.
  • Metallic color is in fashion now. Loafers with silver or gold glitter can be a fashionable and bright accent in your look. However, in order for such loafers to look truly stylish this summer, the clothes under them must be chosen carefully. A sporty look that's too simple won't go well with metallic loafers, and an outfit that's too overworked can look vulgar. Elegant casual is best suited for such loafers - things should be simple, but sophisticated.
  • Beige loafers are another fashion trend. It is best to match their color to your skin tone, although the skin tans in summer, so matching the color can be difficult. You can also choose cream, pink-yellow and light brown options. Loafers in these colors will allow you to visually make your legs longer - especially if they are loafers with a platform or low heels.

  • Ethnic style will be in fashion this season, so simple loafers with tassels that refer to boho style will look very appropriate. These little embellishments will add flair to your look, making it lighter and more playful without making you stand out. If you like simple and interesting solutions within the casual style, tassel loafers will allow you to successfully complete any look.
  • Suede loafers or nubuck loafers will be no less relevant this summer than the usual leather models. These loafers look stylish and beautiful, and you can combine them with either suede or leather bags and belts. However, it is worth considering that such loafers will not be as practical as leather options. Suede and nubuck require very gentle care - any dirt will be hard to wash off from them, and also, if you are going to wear these loafers, it is advisable not to get caught in the rain.
  • Loafers with a platform or heels are not quite a classic option, but even such hybrid models will be relevant in the new season. In fact, these are very good options - they will help you become a few centimeters taller and visually make your legs more slender, but at the same time, they will provide maximum comfort. Models on the platform will be especially comfortable and stylish.

  • This summer, don't be afraid to experiment with colors. Bright colored loafers will look very relevant and will bring zest to even the simplest look. However, when choosing colored loafers, it is better to prefer complex complex shades to pure colors - for example, olive, mustard, burgundy or turquoise.
  • Animal prints are in fashion this season - if you like this new trend, you can choose loafers painted like a zebra, leopard or tiger. Such shoes often look very unusual and stylish. At the same time, animal prints have always been considered quite an extravagant solution, so try not to overload such an image with details and choose fairly discreet clothing sets.

What loafers are in fashion for men?

Male models of loafers usually gravitate toward the classics and are not as diverse as female models. Nevertheless, even lovers of unusual solutions will be able to find suitable loafers for themselves this summer. If the assortment in shopping centers is not very diverse, in online stores you will surely be able to find exactly the model you want. Take a look at some of the most relevant options for this summer.

  • Colored men's loafers this summer will be in trend not only within the youth style. Green, red or orange loafers can look very sophisticated if they are well made and worn under the most discreet clothing. Even men sometimes want to add a bright accent to their usual look - in the summer, you can afford it with bright loafers.
  • Loafers with laces are a bit like boots and look very unusual with light summer clothes. This versatile option is suitable for a city walk, and for outdoor recreation, and for a vacation. And, in combination with classic clothes, some models are even suitable for office work.

  • Designers of men's loafers this season are playing with texture: matte leather, glossy patent leather, crocodile leather, suede or nubuck - all of these options will be on trend, so choose what you like best. If you are looking for a more practical model, matte leather is definitely worth considering. Crocodile or glossy texture will suit older men and allow you to bring sophistication even to a casual look. Nubuck and suede go with almost everything and are very pleasant to wear - the only negative is that such shoes require very careful maintenance.

Video: "What to wear with loafers?"

It's great that there are shoes that fit any mood and style, are incredibly comfortable and can be so different. We are studying today: what to wear with women's loafers!

Loafers - what is it?

So what are these shoes? These are classic shoes, similar to moccasins, only they have a stiffer and wider sole, with a low, wide heel. They are also decorated in front with a tassel or leather bohrama or have a slit lintel.

A bit of history

In fact, these are originally men's shoes, which our great-great-grandmothers, following trousers, decided to include in the women's wardrobe. And this happened only 30 years after their appearance in the male version.

Girls and women of that time were captivated by the convenience and original and neat design of these shoes. But this did not happen immediately, because in its original form, the loafers were the shoes of an English sailor and had a rough look.

The name comes from English. loafer- a loafer - that was the name of the sailors who were on land at that time among the people. Having finished the next voyage, they led a very idle lifestyle.

In the early 30s, mass production of loafers began.

In the mid-60s, the famous Italian fashion designer Gucci. The metal buckle he added made the shoes of this brand recognizable and popular.

In the mid-80s, famous actresses Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly began to wear loafers in movies and life, making them incredibly popular with the beautiful half of the population.

Today, these shoes are no less popular and still remain relevant and fashionable.

In addition to the fact that there are classic models, today you can find a huge number of different options in a variety of colors.

  • Venetian;
  • loafers without a heel;

  • in medium and high heels.

How to choose the right

If you want your model to be as versatile and durable as possible, then it is better to stop at the classic black leather model (can be patented). Brown, beige, white or burgundy loafers will also go well with many things.

If you want to purchase a more original version, then lacquered red or blue, gold or silver, platform or heels will add zest to your look.

How to wear

Loafers are worn on a bare leg, in the cool season you can wear them with tights (with a skirt or dress).

How to wear women's loafers

The versatility of this shoe is a pleasant surprise, because, despite some “masculinity” and slight roughness, it can be combined with a very large number of things. Rather, it is the "masculine features" of these shoes that give women's looks an interesting contrast and serve as an excellent style solution.

+ Jeans

Loafers are especially well combined, but if you don’t have these in your arsenal, then just tuck the edges. This is a very versatile solution and you can choose almost any top - it all depends on the image as a whole. It can be a turtleneck, a voluminous sweater, a T-shirt with a cardigan or jacket, a blouse or a shirt.

A jacket with a shirt + jeans and loafers is a versatile everyday look for work (where there is no strict dress code) or leisure.

Today's fashionable blouses and shirts of various cuts will perfectly fit into the image.

+ Pants

A more classic option for work, for example, can be obtained in an image with trousers and a blouse (shirt). A fitted sweater or turtleneck is also well suited here. For a more casual look, wear with a T-shirt + leather or denim jacket. Loafers with trousers look great.

Pants can be tight, straight, or wide, but they must be shortened.

the option with wide cropped trousers is best suited for tall girls. They can visually make low beauties even lower, so this model of trousers is not recommended for them.

+ Jumpsuit

Many people love denim overalls for its convenience and unpretentiousness. It also goes well with loafers and gets quite a stylish sound.

Overalls can be not only denim, but also leather, velvet or cotton. And all these options will look good with our shoes.

Cropped shorts, skirt or culottes are a great solution for summer. By the way, loafers without a heel are perfect here, you will not be hot in them.

+ Skirts

A variety of models of skirts can be combined with loafers and here they will be simply indispensable.

With a short skirt (mini)

Such shoes look beautiful with mini-length skirts, the top is a light blouse or shirt, which can be either tucked into a skirt or not tucked in, but left like that.

With a mid-length skirt (midi)

Midi skirts look very feminine and paired with loafers, you can get an original and stylish look. This includes a pleated skirt, a pencil skirt, and in general all models of this length.

In summer, skirts made of light fabrics can be combined with beige or white loafers.

With a long skirt

Here, the important point is precisely the length of the skirt: if you want your shoes to be visible, then it is the length) should reach a maximum of up to the bone, preferably a couple of centimeters higher. Top - light blouse, T-shirt, top or jumper. You can throw a light coat, jacket, cardigan or jacket over your shoulders.

With printed skirt

A skirt with an interesting print can bring a fresh sound to your everyday looks in unison with the nature of the print.

Black loafers and a black (white) top are the perfect accompaniment for this outfit.

+ Shorts

Loafers look good with shorts from a variety of fabrics. Of course, this is more an option for summer or warm autumn (spring).

How to wear women's loafers by color and type

As I wrote earlier, these shoes are very diverse. In this section you will find the most common variations on this theme.

White loafers

best suited in the warm season. They will look good with light jeans, white or black and white tops.

Patent loafers

They will give your image more elegance. You can wear them with dresses, skirts and jeans.

black

Beige loafers

The universal color makes this shoe model even more versatile and you can choose any upper here (according to our selection). They will look especially impressive with a white outfit, for example, a white blouse + white trousers (skirt).

Brown

Leopard

Leopard shoes can create an interesting accent in the image and therefore it is better to wear them with more neutral things. Denim or black things will serve as a good background for them.

Where did loafers come from and what are they?

Back in 1930, the Spaulding family, a shoemaker in New Hampshire, began producing shoes called "loafers", inspired by moccasins from Norway. Four years later, in 1934, the famous shoemaker George Bass opened the production of his own line of loafers called Weejuns.

Initially, such shoes were worn exclusively at home, and only by men, but after a while, thanks to their convenience and decent appearance, loafers confidently stepped onto the streets, both on male and female legs.

And yet, what are loafers?

Loafers are a certain type of shoes that are similar to moccasins, but unlike them, are made with a hard sole and in most cases are models with a massive heel.

What are the types of loafers?

So, for the most part, all loafers can be divided into the following types:

- Classic or, as they are also called, Venetian loafers. They look exactly like moccasins, but with a stiff sole and a low massive heel, they do not have any decorative elements.

— Penny loafers. These are classic loafers with a decorative strip sewn on top, most often leather, with a small diamond-shaped slit. And they have just such a name, because. in the 1950s, students began to put coins in these slots to stand out.

— Tassel loafers. Initially, such a model was invented for sailors, but, like all good ideas, it went beyond its borders and today has conquered all the world's fashion capitals.

- Buckle loafers or Gucci loafers. One of the most popular models from 1970 to the present day. These are loafers, decorated with a metal buckle, most often of a golden hue, in the form of a snaffle. It is thanks to the shoes of the design house Gucci that loafers have become very popular among celebrities, singers and actresses.

- Heeled loafers. Most often these are penny models, with tassels or with a buckle on an exceptionally massive heel from 3 to 11 centimeters.

— Wedge loafers. This type of loafers is one of the youngest, but actively popular with street fashionistas. The tankette is most often made in black and white, as well as made of wood.

Loafers can also be divided into types depending on the material of manufacture:

— Leather. They are the most practical and versatile footwear.

- Suede. Suitable for areas with a dry warm climate, without rain, as suede is a very delicate material.

— Lacquer. A more festive option, they require perfect shine and special care.

How to choose loafers?

  • Based on your budget and where you live (including climate), decide which material suits you best: leather, patent or suede.
  • When wearing loafers on both feet, pay attention that the shoes do not sting, as they do not break apart and will not become looser. It is best to try them on the footprints or thin socks.
  • Do not forget to check the absence of marriage not only on the shoes themselves, but also on the decorative elements, whether all their parts are tightly fixed, etc.
  • It is also worth noting that black loafers are more versatile than other colors. And brown, regardless of the color scheme of the wardrobe, is perfect for owners of red hair shades.

What to wear with women's loafers?

You have decided on the model, have chosen the appropriate option, but are still in doubt about the purchase, because you don’t know what to wear loafers with? Then we offer you several options, after which all doubts will disappear;)

- Loafers will perfectly fit into a casual casual look, consisting of jeans and a shirt, with a jacket or jumper.

- They will also go well with ankle-baring trousers, for example, such a popular chinos model.

— Do not forget about trouser suits, in a calm classic range or bright and printed options. In this case, you can choose absolutely any loafers. However, it is advisable for short girls to give preference to loafers with wedges or heels, and owners of model height can safely choose low-speed shoes.

- Feel free to create images with them with shirts, blouses, sweaters, cardigans, jackets and coats. But it’s better to postpone so many trendy bomber jackets, since they are still from different stylistic directions.

- An A-line mini dress and penny or tassel loafers will look great.

Pair a sheath dress with Gucci heeled loafers for a chic and feminine look from start to finish.

- Mini and midi skirts paired with loafers will create an atmosphere of femininity around you and add a touch of the retro era.

- In hot weather, choose short shorts and a blouse with unbuttoned top buttons, a bright scarf around the neck and loafers in light colors.

- If you want to visually add height, but for some reason avoid shoes with heels, then pair with black loafers pick up tight black tights, which will visually add a few centimeters to your height. Of course, this technique is relevant in the colder season.

- Jeans, a shirt, for example, blue, red loafers and a belt to match them.
