Today I decided to experiment some more and make a cupcake with sour cream. I really wanted to make a comparison to understand which cupcake tastes better. As it turned out, both cupcakes turned out to taste very different, although the photo shows that they even rose the same, 2 times. it turned out to be very fluffy and porous, and the cake made with sour cream was a little moist, but also incredibly tasty, with a milky taste. Homemade cupcake will be a worthy decoration for any table.

How to make a delicious sour cream cupcake:

Armed with a deep bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy for 5-7 minutes. Then, without stopping whisking, add sugar in portions and beat for another 3-5 minutes. You should get a fluffy mass.

Then add sour cream and add sifted flour with baking powder and add vanillin (vanilla sugar). And just mix the dough until smooth with a spoon or a whisk.

Once I already offered you the recipe for my favorite one. Today's version is practically an improvisation, based on the previous one, with some changes. Sour cream was added to the cake dough, and I didn’t even expect that the baked goods would turn out so tender!


I’m putting this sour cream cupcake recipe in our Notebook. Instead of sour cream, you can use any yogurt.

To make sour cream cake you will need

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour - 2 cups,
  • Sugar - 1 glass,
  • Eggs - 2 pieces,
  • Margarine or butter - 200 grams,
  • Raisins or candied fruits about 1 cup,
  • Sour cream - 1 glass (or yogurt),
  • Baking powder – 1 pack (18 grams),

You can leave a sour cream cake in a slow cooker for the time specified in the recipe and forget it: the appliance will turn off itself at the right moment.

  • egg – 2 pcs.;
  • medium fat sour cream – 200 g;
  • granulated sugar – 190 g;
  • melted butter – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • soda - tsp;
  • flour – 10 tbsp. l.

Instructions:

  1. Mix sour cream, a little sugar and soda.
  2. Separately, beat the remaining sugar and eggs together until foamy. Gradually pour in the sour cream mixture, and then add the butter.
  3. Add flour, stirring thoroughly.
  4. Place in a greased multicooker bowl.
  5. Set the multicooker to the “Baking” mode. Bake for 1 hour.

With raisins

A simple way to make a homemade, flavorful sour cream cake that turns out big and doesn’t go stale for a long time. Take:

  • butter (softened) – 100 g;
  • chilled eggs – 3 pcs.;
  • sugar – 190 g;
  • sour cream (preferably low-fat) – 200 g;
  • sifted flour - 2 tbsp;
  • raisins – 1 tbsp.;
  • soda – 1 tsp;
  • cognac – 1 tbsp. l.

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the raisins. It must be filled with water while the dough is being prepared, and then dried.
  2. Turn on the oven to 180°C.
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl and beat with granulated sugar. The mass should become homogeneous. Add butter, sour cream, mix with a wooden spoon or mixer. Pour in the cognac.
  4. Mix flour, soda, add to the egg-sour cream mixture along with raisins, stir.
  5. Grease the pan, pour the dough and place in the oven. Remove after an hour, checking readiness with a match. A crack may appear in the middle - this is a common occurrence for such baked goods.
  6. Cool, decorate with powder.

Zebra

A delicate marble cake that always looks impressive on the table is very easy to prepare. You will need:

  • premium flour – 300 g;
  • granulated sugar – 200 g;
  • butter (soft) at room temperature – 250 g;
  • egg – 4 pcs.;
  • sour cream – 3 tbsp. l.;
  • soda - tsp;
  • cocoa – 3 tbsp. l.;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tsp.

Instructions:

  1. Break the eggs, grind with granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add butter, sour cream, beat with a whisk or mixer. Add flour gradually until the consistency of sour cream.
  2. Divide the mixture into two bowls into equal parts. Leave one as is. Add cocoa powder to the second bowl and stir again.
  3. Grease the mold with margarine, place both masses into it one by one: a spoonful of white and then a spoonful of chocolate. Level the top.
  4. Preheat the oven well (up to 180°C), set the mold for an hour. Cool the finished dish.

Chocolate

The rich taste will not leave sweet lovers indifferent. If you love chocolate, try baking a sour cream cupcake using this recipe:

  • chilled egg – 2 pcs.;
  • sugar – 190 g;
  • sour cream (preferably low-fat) – 300 g;
  • butter (chilled, cut into pieces) – 100 g;
  • cocoa – 3 tbsp. l.;
  • soda – 1 tsp;
  • vanillin – 1 g;
  • premium flour – 400 g.

Subsequence:

  1. Beat sugar, eggs and sour cream with a whisk or using a mixer. Add oil, stir until smooth.
  2. Add vanilla, baking soda, flour and cocoa. You will end up with a buttery, dense dough.
  3. Grease the pan. Pour the mixture and smooth the top.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven for half an hour.
  5. Decorate with melted chocolate. If you want to vary the flavor, add nuts to the mixture along with the dry ingredients (about one cup).

From cottage cheese

To prepare this dessert, which turns out to be especially tender, take:

  • egg – 3 pcs.;
  • fat cottage cheese (9%) – 200 g;
  • sugar – 1 tbsp;
  • low fat sour cream – 100 ml;
  • potato starch - tbsp.;
  • baking powder – 10 g;
  • premium flour – 2 tbsp;
  • dried fruits - optional.

Instructions:

  1. Mix cottage cheese and sour cream.
  2. Beat the eggs together with sugar until they become foamy. Combine both masses: curd-sour cream and egg.
  3. You can add raisins, dried apricots or prunes. Add flour mixed with starch and baking powder.
  4. Preheat the oven. The required temperature is 180 degrees. Bake until golden brown (half an hour).

In the bread machine

Make a simple cake in a bread maker. If desired, the dough can be varied with any frozen or freshly picked berries and dried fruits. Ingredients:

  • fat sour cream 15-20% – 200 ml;
  • sugar – 1 tbsp;
  • fresh chicken egg – 3 pcs.;
  • premium flour – 240 g;
  • soda (slaked) – 1.5 tsp.

Instructions:

  1. Break the eggs into a cup, add sugar and beat thoroughly.
  2. Add sour cream mixed with soda, stir.
  3. Gradually add flour in small portions. You should get a thick dough.
  4. Bake for an hour. To cook, select the “Baking” multicooker mode.

In silicone molds

  • fine sugar – 140 g;
  • chilled egg – 2 pcs.;
  • vegetable oil – 120 ml;
