The mod shows old versions of wot at home. Firefly or mod Firefly from spoter. Lite version of the mod

The mod is designed to indicate the opponents that the player shines.

ATTENTION! Indication and calculation of damage by light may not be accurate! The accounting algorithm is being improved from version to version, but the server does not give exact data.

The principle of the mod: as soon as you light up the enemy, he will be marked with a translucent square with only corners and a flashing indication on the minimap. This is, so to speak, a test version of the first mod, which in the future will be finalized and improved to the light damage calculator.

added the ability to display the approximate illuminated damage in the mod. Once again, I repeat exemplary, even very. While the mod has not learned how to correctly calculate the damage caused by your light, since the client gives very little information about this and you have to come up with additional algorithms in which there will always be errors, especially since this is the alpha version of the mod, so be patient and wait for updates. If you do not need the display of damage by light, you can turn it off in the mod settings and leave only an indication that works more correctly.

Firefly mod setting:

The settings file is located here: World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.9.x\scripts\client\mods\spotted_extended.xml.

Now you will see a special icon above the tanks that are shining. In addition, the mod will approximately calculate the damage to these vehicles.

Modification features

  • The main purpose of the mod is to show those tanks that are lit up with the help of the player.
  • On the this moment The firefly shows damage by exposure, but this information may not be accurate, since the server does not give accurate data. But the authors are constantly improving their creation, so in the future, perhaps, the situation will improve.
  • By default, the display is made on the minimap, that is, if the enemy is highlighted, its icon will be changed.

The most latest version Firefly. It's best to ignore the light damage meter for now, as the difference can be huge, around 40%. Only the indication works optimally.

For detailed settings, there is a spotted_extended file, with which you can change the text, its location and turn on / off some functions.

How to install Firefly?

Copy the configs folder to \World_of_Tanks\mods\. Copy the remaining folders and files to World of Tanks\mods\1.4.1.1.

Adaptive for World of Tanks 1.2.0.2

with very interesting, useful, and most importantly unique modifications. Here take for exampleblocked damage mod, it was necessary to think of this, and also, which is no less important, to implement all this. The author of this mod again decided to please us with an equally interesting addition - the Firefly mod - an indication of opponents illuminated by the player in WOT 1.2.0.2.

It was always interesting to know who spotted this or that tank, wasn’t I the lucky one who, after the battle, will be credited with the damage according to the provided intelligence? Now the answer to all these questions will give you a mod for indicating the opponents that the player has spotted. It will help you immediately calculate how much damage you approximately received by your exposure. I think that in the future the author of this mod will improve it and he will count the damage on your light in automatic mode.

This is, so to speak, a test version of the first mod, which in the future will be finalized and improved to the light damage calculator. And it will definitely happen, because in one of the videos of ProTanka it was said that the spoter is thinking about creating a mod that would calculate damage by light. Now it's only a matter of time and judging by the release of this mod, it will happen very soon.

Illuminated damage calculator mod.

It happened, the ability to display illuminated damage was added to the mod. Now the mod has learned to correctly calculate the damage caused by your light, as the client gives enough information about it. This is an alpha version of the mod, so be patient and wait for updates. If you do not need the display of damage by light, you can turn it off in the mod settings and leave only an indication that works correctly.

Lightweight version of the mod.

In the lite version of the mod, there is no settings file, no indication or specific numbers, nothing affects the FPS. The mod determines who you have lit, hitting the enemy lit by you and killing him. All information about this is displayed above the mini-map in the form of text. And if you see messages that damage has been done to your light, then it has really been done and you will be able to see its amount after the battle. Especially for weak PCs and for those who do not need all the bells and whistles that are available in full version fashion. It has no problems with game crashes.

Very cool and useful mod for tanks 0 9 14 and of course LBZ! After all, now all tanks will know exactly when they shine and how much damage they have already illuminated! Also read? about the latest news!

The mod cannot accurately calculate the damage by exposure, the data on spotted_damage is very often inaccurate, there is not enough data on the exact time of illumination from the server side, crew perks and consumables of allies and enemies.
The mod takes into account the bushes according to the principle (transparent \ opaque), without taking into account the transparency coefficients.
Macro (spotted_damage) replaced with (spotted_damage_theory) and (spotted_damage_theory_max)
The macro (spotted_damage_theory_max) shows the damage that the mod calculated as the possible maximum damage by exposure
The macro (spotted_damage_theory) shows the estimated damage, taking into account the division of damage among all allies theoretically shining at the time of the damage. (for example, -1000 damage entered the enemy, at that time 10 allies shone, each will be protected by 100 damage by exposure), a very inaccurate calculation, due to the fact that the viewing ranges of allies are available only in a limited form
the function for calculating the range of the allies' light has been redesigned, it takes into account the view of the tank turret, the presence of ventilation, optics and horns (in motion and not). has a range from minimum possible review without perks and consumables with 50% crew, up to the maximum pumped crew with rations.
Renamed config options, added new options.
- lamp type indicator, designed to highlight the target on close range and/or in sniper mode. inconspicuous from afar
- indicator of blue color, shows the opponents currently highlighted by the player, is clearly visible from afar, hardly noticeable near.
- current light indicator for platoon tanks, for 1 platoon yellow color, for the second joint purple, are clearly visible from afar, hardly noticeable up close.
- an indicator on the minimap, for self-illumination, the enemy icon blinks with some frequency.
- a text message above the minimap, informs about the enemy, which was lit directly by the player.
- a text message above the minimap, informs about the damage or destruction of the enemy by the player's own light, the damage is indicated as "enemy tank -min (max) damage"
- activation of a special text message that the player can customize and place anywhere on the screen.
