Projects of baths of g-shaped form. Corner baths: functional projects. Pros of corner bath projects

They built a house for me in 2018, according to my project, by professionals in their field. The project itself is somewhat more expensive than its competitors, but in our village they built 1 more house and the owners were satisfied.

They ordered the construction of a bathhouse, they did it in the shortest possible time, without any complaints about the work of the team.

The full cycle from the production of material to the assembly of the house is perfectly organized. Quality, professionalism at the highest level. Recommend.

It is very important to find your manager, who will advise not only at the conclusion of the contract, but also during construction. We talked with Igor, as a result, the bath is ready on the site, we use it, everything is fine. Thank you.

Great home, great service! Everyone was helpful and helpful with the selection. You can see everything live - we went to a facility under construction similar to ours, where they saw how they work, only after that they decided to build. Thank you for the patience of managers and builders that answered all the questions!

In 2018, we ordered a bathhouse. We are very satisfied with the work of the employees of this company. Starting with the estimate and ending with a team of builders. We were lucky for the action, we received a sauna stove as a gift!

Thanks for the sauna house. On the site one price is indicated, but in fact it turns out more. But it’s understandable that the price is indicated for the very minimum, like everyone else on the Internet, if you want to comfortably pay extra for extras. In general, "thank you" to the builders.

A feature of the corner baths is their unusual shape. In the classic corner version, the main part of the room (steam room and washing room) is built perpendicularly, at an angle of 90⁰ to additional rooms for leisure activities.

Why build a corner bath, and what advantages does it have over a rectangular structure?

  1. The stove in such buildings is located in the middle between the steam room and the rest room, so that it is able to heat the entire room, which is especially important in winter.
  2. Corner baths are designed specifically for installation in small areas or in courtyards where additional buildings, flower beds, garden furniture and other decorative elements are already present. The building is necessarily located in one of the corners of the site, and therefore does not take up much space and does not violate the overall composition.
  3. The building, which in its shape resembles a corner or a triangle, is a rather unusual and interesting architectural solution.

In addition to all its additional advantages, compact corner baths, made by experienced specialists, will perfectly cope with their main goal - to help a person or a group of people have a good time.

Corner bath from a bar

The compact building is equipped with a tambour room, which additionally helps to maintain a warm temperature in the building even in the coldest time.

This project takes up very little space on the site, but at the same time the building is quite roomy and practical.

The rest room and washroom are combined here, which allows you to save more free space in the room and save on the cost of building materials.

The presented project has a very interesting triangular shape and will look original on any summer cottage.

All the main components are located on the first floor (steam room, washing room, vestibule and bathroom), and on the second floor there is an additional lounge where you can equip a kitchen, a billiard room or even a workshop and a very spacious balcony, which is good for romantic dates and friendly get-togethers.

This project is very remarkable due to its unusual design and spacious outdoor veranda.

A barbecue oven is installed on the veranda, so in the warm season, barbecue parties can be held here.

Inside the building there is a steam room, a separate washing room and a bathroom and three rooms for rest and leisure, which can be furnished to your own taste.

The project with a terrace and a barbecue will appeal to all lovers of saunas and traditional outdoor recreation, as all components are combined here for an ideal leisure time.

Corner baths for 10 people

A wonderful project with a spacious steam room and an open terrace, where a company of up to 10 people can freely accommodate.

Bath with a pool of 129 sq. m.

An elegant structure is guaranteed to decorate your site and give it status. A room equipped inside the building with a swimming pool of more than 40 square meters will comfortably cool down after water procedures.

The building has a main (from the terrace) and an additional (from the porch) entrance, equipped with a separate kitchen and guest room, a separate bathroom and a comfortable steam room.

On the second floor there is an additional guest room, where you can equip a bedroom or a billiard room, which will allow you to use the building as a guest house or even the main house.

Sauna with veranda and barbecue 8x9

Surprisingly compact and at the same time very pretty and spacious building project with a barbecue is an ideal choice for people who are concerned about the issue of comfortable leisure time.

A closed veranda with large windows allows you to comfortably spend time in the bath both in summer and in winter. The building also contains a small rest room, a washing room, a steam room and a bathroom.

Sauna with veranda and barbecue 8x10

A small bathhouse with a separate barbecue room can be safely called a successful architectural solution, since the 8x10 building actually accommodates a spacious kitchen combined with a dining room, a living room, a separate bathroom and a steam room.

The developers also offer to install a fireplace in the relaxation room to maintain an atmosphere of comfort and the possibility of independent heating of all bath rooms.

In fact, in such a building you can not only spend your leisure time comfortably, but even arrange holiday parties, accommodate unexpected guests and live independently.

Two-story bathhouse made of glued laminated timber 94 sq.m.

Buildings made of glued beams are distinguished not only by their reliability, but also by the high speed of assembly of the structure. By ordering the construction of this project, you can enjoy the procedures on your own site in the shortest possible time.

A two-story sauna with a separate boiler room is very convenient, designed with the comfort and hygiene of visiting the steam room and living in the house in the first place.

On the first floor there are all the main rooms, including a toilet room, a kitchen and a living room, and the second floor is ideal for furnishing a bedroom on it. Thus, this building can perfectly perform not only its main functions, but also serve as a great place for a small family to live.

L-shaped bath

The L-shaped project is designed specifically for placement in the corner of the site. The building combines a separate dressing room, a steam room, a washing room, a bathroom and a vestibule, as well as a spacious lounge.

If you have a plot outside the city, you probably more than once came up with the idea to order a bath project. The company "Tsar Banya" will gladly become your guide to the world of bathing traditions of our ancestors, who cared about their health.

But we have a special offer for you. It is quite possible that you will be interested in a corner-type turnkey bath. You will not only feel closer to nature, but also save a significant amount due to the peculiarities of building such a steam room.

Corner bath: what is the attractiveness of this option?

  • Advantages of corner baths

    Advantages of corner baths

    Gardeners often complain about the small plot area of six acres. And what can you say about a scanty piece of land in three acres? And there are still enough horticultural associations with such tiny "allotments". And the owner of such a piece wants, in addition to a small garden house, to have a place where you can stick a car, plant at least a couple of beds of greenery, stick a greenhouse, equip a green lawn for children or for a barbecue, and of course put a bathhouse.

    In such cramped conditions, as an option, you can consider the project of a small bathhouse, set at an angle, on the border of two neighboring sections.

    Such a decision can carry several positive aspects at once:

    1) Two wings of the bath, forming an angle, will create a piece of space, closed from the prying eyes of neighbors. Then in the winter, after the steam room, you can safely flop naked into a snowdrift, and in the summer dive into a small pool.

    2) Thanks to this configuration, a part of the land is freed up on which you can put a veranda, terrace or barbecue.

    3) If a large number of steam lovers come to you, then you can choose a project with two entrances - to the relaxation room, to the steam room or to the washing department.

    4) A corner bath is convenient for arranging a small attic, where a teenage child will spend the summer with pleasure.

    Below we present two completed projects of corner baths.

    First option

    The project of such a bath was born quite unexpectedly. Initially, there was no talk of any angular structure. They just bought a new one to replace the old one. During dismantling, it turned out that the old building was still quite viable. Therefore, we decided to change the logs of the lower crown in it and fix the foundation, and next to it, build a new log house on a separate foundation. Both buildings were connected by a doorway.

    The stove was removed from the old log house - now there is a washing department, the rest remains the same - a dressing room + a toilet. In the new one, the entire area is intended for a steam room, and only in the cold season, when it becomes cool in an unheated washing room, we also use the steam room as a washing room.

    Both log cabins stand on a strip foundation, poured to a depth of 70 cm with cement mortar with reinforcing bars. The solution is poured flush with the soil surface. In the corners, the log cabins rest on the halves of the curbs, the rest of the foundation is red brick, and on the front side it is facing.

    The first crown is laid on roofing felt waterproofing. the remaining logs of the new cage are laid on lnovatin. Due to the fact that the log house is of good quality, the walls are not insulated with anything and perfectly keep the heat. The only thing that is periodically carried out (about once a year) is the external treatment with the Aquatex protective agent - pine color. True, despite this, the tree becomes a little darker every year. From the inside, the logs are not hewn, not sheathed and not processed in any way.

    The old log house is lined with pine clapboard inside. In the washing department, it is covered with a special colorless wax-based compound (I don’t remember the name anymore).

    The rear outer, invisible part of the log house is sheathed with an ordinary "inch". And the front one, visible in the photo, is sheathed with a blockhouse.

    The ceilings of both buildings are made of floor lath, 30 mm thick, having a tongue-and-groove connection. From above, from the side of the roof, on a ceiling board covered with foil, a heater is laid - foam plastic, 50 mm thick.

    The roof is shed. I was afraid that the ridge gable would look too cumbersome in a small area. Subsequently, he regretted it - an extra attic space would not hurt, well, there would be no snow load.

    The floor, in a new log house in the form of a cement screed with a reinforcing mesh, is made with an inclination from the front door to the opposite end wall with a drainage hole in the foundation, through which water is drained through a pipe into a well. The cement floor is covered with tiled ceramic tiles. On top of it, boards of the main floor, 50 mm thick, are laid on the logs.

    The floor of the old log house is similar, but has a slightly funnel-shaped screed, with a drainage hole in the center, from where the used water enters the second well through a pipe.

    The sauna is ventilated by a small opening double-glazed window and four holes in the foundation made of plastic sewer pipes with a diameter of 50 mm. If necessary, these holes can be closed with special plugs.

    The bath, in my opinion, is practically devoid of flaws. The impression is somewhat spoiled only by an unsightly bath stove, it is welded from a “five hundred” pipe. But, of course, it's not only the appearance, the whole problem is the hot water tank mounted on top of the stove.

    Not only does it have a small volume, but being part of the steel “five hundred”, it is subject to corrosion. Water often has to be changed due to rust. Since the chimney is located in the center of the tank, it is not possible to place a stainless steel insert there. A coating of fire-moisture-resistant paints does not bring the proper result. Besides the fact that they are toxic, the coating also slips by the end of the season.

    Another disadvantage of this design is the abundance of soot in the pipe, which is formed due to the fact that the smoke passes through the cold water tank, so the chimney has to be cleaned at least once a season. So the oven should have been more modern.

    Although this can also find its advantages: a significant metal thickness of 6 mm, good heat dissipation and efficiency. She has a capacious heater made of a horizontally welded pipe with a diameter of 200 mm. The flame from the firebox, covering it from both sides, warms up the stones well, goes up, heating the upper tank with water as well.

    Well, I will also attribute the proximity of the toilet to the rest of the rooms to the disadvantages of such a building. Although I don't think it's possible to do without it. In order for the smell not to annoy, the toilet must be reliably isolated from other rooms already at the foundation stage.
    Otherwise, since the construction in 2009, the bath has established itself only as a source of health and pleasure.

    Second project

    This bath was built in 2015 according to the same principle - a corner structure.

    The ordered pine log house of a non-standard shape 4x2.5 m is also installed on a strip foundation, which is buried 0.5 meters into the ground and lined with brickwork another 0.5 meters above the surface. Before pouring, the foundation was reinforced with a double lattice of reinforcing bars, 12 mm in diameter.

    As in the first version, the bath is divided into a locker room (or rest room), a shower room and a steam room. It was already decided to install the toilet here at some distance from the bath. I don't even know if this is a plus or a minus? The picture shows how the corner bath is compactly located on the site, having three fairly spacious rooms inside.

    The foundation is quite high. This made it possible to lay out a row of tiles from the inside of the steam room, from the floor to the lower crown of the logs. The floor is a cement screed, on top of which there are logs made of steel pipes with a diameter of 100 mm (the diameter is large, but these used pipes remained from the dismantling of the conduit). The ends of the pipe are embedded in the foundation walls. And on them are laid boards, 40 mm thick. Outside, the foundation is additionally insulated with a layer of 50 mm foam and plastered.

    The dressing room is made as an extension to the log house. The frame, which is made of timber 150x100, which made it possible to lay a mineral wool insulation, 150 mm thick and sheathe the outer wall with siding, and the inner wall with aspen clapboard. The wall between the washing department and the sauna is also sheathed with aspen clapboard on both sides and insulated with mineral wool. Why from aspen? It is believed that despite its relative cheapness, this material is almost as good as linden in its properties.

    Right there, in the locker room, a storage-type water-heating tank is installed. It must be remembered that when installing such a tank, you need to take care of high-quality email. wiring. By the way, the wiring throughout the bath is made of a special heat-resistant wire.

    The bath has no windows, and ventilation is carried out - in the washing department due to the "ventilation fungus", and in the sauna - due to the wooden curtain visible in the photo. Above the floor there are uncovered ventilation holes, the size of half a brick.

    The ceiling is sheathed from the inside with clapboard, which is sewn onto aluminum foil. Then, from the side of the roof, a layer of mineral wool, 200 mm thick, is laid on the waterproofing film. The steam room itself is not lined with anything, only in places of contact with the walls near the shelf, aspen slats are sewn onto the logs so as not to get dirty with the emitted resin.

    The roof is shed, covered with yellow corrugated board, which goes well with the color of the logs.
    Drainage is carried out due to the connected pipes from the shower and from the sauna, and brought out in the cement floor screed into the drainage well.

    The main feature of this bath is a stove, with a firebox brought out into the street.

    Furnace brand "Vesuvius", with a special elongated combustion channel.

    It would seem that this kind of decision is rather absurd and, to put it mildly, not very popular. But in vain, because the furnace of the bath from the street has a lot of advantages:

    • Oxygen is not burned out in the heated room, therefore carbon monoxide is completely absent.
    • Garbage is not brought into the sauna along with firewood.
    • Due to the firebox, the usable area is saved, albeit a little.
    • The furnace hole is higher, unlike a traditional furnace, therefore, when lighting and heating the furnace, you do not need to bend over “three deaths”, or even kneel.

    Thanks to a well-located visor, they got rid of one inconvenience - in the rain you can throw firewood without fear of getting wet.

    Well, in conclusion, let's say that, conveniently located in the corner of the site, such a bath takes up a minimum of land area and easily fits into any landscape.

  • Everyone remembers the expression: "driven into a corner." Immediately there is an association of a hopeless impasse and a hopeless situation. Approximately the same way, the owners of corner summer cottages felt themselves, by the will of fate or by lot "stand in a corner." And such an owner conceived to build a bathhouse, and the standard project, if it fits, so with big reservations. Don't be disheartened. Corner baths will successfully solve the dilemma of the rational use of space, and what seemed to be continuous shortcomings can appear in an exceptionally presentable form. Let's get acquainted.

    The design of the corner bath provides for a specific location and distribution of the internal volume. Classic looks like this:

    • The rest room and the steam room are closed at an angle of 90 degrees;
    • The heater stove is located in the center of the projection and has a through type with a long furnace tunnel, which allows the most efficient use of its thermal energy for heating almost the entire internal volume;
    • Very often, premises of this type are equipped with not one, but two doorways that provide communication with the outside world. On the one hand, it is convenient, on the other hand, it makes you seriously think about the issues of heat conservation;
    • Finally, in general terms, the building has an L-shape, which is why, in fact, it got its name.

    What are the benefits

    The L-shaped projection provides several very significant advantages over the traditional layout, in which the shape of the building has straight sides:

    1. There is a chic opportunity for the rational use of the area of \u200b\u200bthe site. As a rule, the corner sectors of the yard turn out to be fully unclaimed. One has only to place a bathhouse in the corner closure, as right there, directly, as in the old joke, there is also a lot of space “under the little ones”.
    2. Imagine that you have a two-century luxurious oak on your site. Chopping a tree - conscience does not allow, to build an ordinary classic bath, lack of space does not allow. The corner bath solves the problem not only effectively, but also damn elegantly. The bath wraps around a tree, and we have a chic composition, which, other things being equal, we should also look for.
    3. Take a look around. Quite often we have standard baths, as if from an architectural incubator, which seem to be tied to a simple and uncomplicated geometric figure - a rectangle. A little diligence and you are building a non-standard beauty, in which the chief architect of the district himself will draw both ideas and inspiration for a long time to come.
    4. The central placement of the stove opens up new possibilities for interesting interior solutions, and the heating of the internal volume itself becomes more uniform and, as a result, efficient.
    5. The concept of two separate entrances will make it possible to implement interesting solutions, for example, to place a separate barbecue area, all under one roof.

    What are the disadvantages

    It is well known that there are no ideal architectural solutions, just as there is no general building concept for all occasions. Projects of corner baths, unfortunately, are also not without a number of shortcomings, which should be discussed in more detail:

    • Compared with a traditional bath of a simple geometric shape, such a structure is somewhat larger, in the range of 15 - 17%, in the consumption of building materials;
    • For an inexperienced designer, it is more difficult to calculate, and for an inexperienced builder, it is more difficult to embody in nature a reliable construction of the closure of two internal volumes. This primarily applies to the roof. It is not easy to securely tie a rafter set in a perpendicular projection without sufficient experience;
    • Multiple exterior doorways are definitely handy to use. However, it is worth taking care of the implementation of a number of measures aimed at maintaining heat in your bath. Here it is worth using either very high-quality door systems, which is expensive, or duplicating vestibules, which, you see, is troublesome;
    • Now about the oven. Its central location is a definite plus. However, get ready for additional costs. In order for such a furnace not only to justify itself, but also to work highly efficiently, a long furnace tunnel is needed. To implement such structures as air, you need a qualified master stove-maker, with a head, hands and conscience, and a good choice of refractory. Cast and welded metal furnaces of this type are also far from a budget option.

    If you have weighed all the pros and cons, and the positive from the implementation of this type of project outweighed all the disadvantages, then we smoothly move on to the projects themselves. Which to choose?

    Options for implementing the concept of a bath of this type

    Corner baths, the projects of which have been calculated somewhere, somewhere implemented, have one thing in common. An attempt to maximize the use of internal space. Their outer dimensions can vary widely. The most common project of the budget class is a bath with dimensions of 6 × 6 m on the long sides.

    Budget bath 6 × 6 m: what we have in the end

    It is probably not profitable to implement a corner-type construction project with smaller dimensions. First of all, a decrease in linear dimensions will cause a dramatic decrease in the internal space of the bath. In essence, incomplete 28 sq. m, which we get in a size of 6 × 6 m, will allow a family and 4 people to be accommodated with full comfort. It will be problematic to accept and serve a large company in such a bath.

    A few words about the choice of material. When building such a bath, you can use various means, from bricks to logs. However, here's what you need to take into account. In small overall dimensions, you need to get as much internal space as possible so that the load-bearing walls of the structure and partitions that separate the usable volume eat it up as little as possible.

    Attention! Among other things, consider the place of perpendicular closure of structures. It must be reliable, stable and practical, both in construction and in subsequent maintenance and repair. If you prefer exclusively wooden baths, then the optimal choice, obviously, should be considered a profiled beam. Elements calibrated in the same size are easier to install, and good thermal insulation can be achieved, especially if a jute gasket is used between all mating elements.

    In general terms, such a structure will have the following usable areas of the main functional areas:

    • Rest room - 16 sq.m;
    • Pair department - 4 sq. m;
    • Washing room - shower room - 4 sq. m;
    • The vestibule is a dressing room in which you can store the current supply of firewood and bath equipment will also take about 4 sq.m.

    The closing zone can be covered with a canopy and the main supply of firewood can be stored there.

    Full bath, size 10.7 × 7.6 m

    Such a structure will provide opportunities for the full-fledged placement of the company and will allow placing a small pool or a volume font in the under-roof space, with all communication piping and service equipment.

    The useful area of the internal space of the bath of such a project is about 44 sq.m. Consider the internal volume differentiated:

    • Recreation room - 9.5 sq.m;
    • Terrace - 16 sq.m;
    • Steam room - 7.1 sq.m;
    • Washing compartment with a font with a useful volume of 2.5 cubic meters - 7.0 sq.m;
    • Bathroom - 2.1 sq.m;
    • Tambour, combining the functions of a technical room - 2.2 sq.m.

    As we can see, the construction of such a layout belongs to the type: corner baths with a terrace. As we mentioned above, the terrace allows not only to fully accommodate those present in the open air, but also to protect people from possible bad weather, and taking into account global climate change, even solar heat in summer. In addition, it should be noted that the sufficient area of this zone creates opportunities for the construction of a barbecue oven, which will not only radically enliven the interior of the site, but will also have excellent functionality for cooking on an open fire.

    Mentioning the terraces, it is worth mentioning such a type of structures as corner baths with a veranda. It is the corner layout that provides excellent opportunities for arranging a veranda, which can more fully provide shelter from adverse weather events. Its presence somewhat expands the functionality of the bath, especially in the spring-autumn period of the year. Due to the high density of the light flux on the verandas, it is convenient to equip the semblance of greenhouses, this is especially true in places where the natural vegetation is rather sparse and unpresentable.

    Important! The terrace allows you to implement another type of corner-type baths - triangular baths. The name does not mean that the bath is built in the form of a pyramid of Cheops, and its visitors can count on automatically receiving the academic title of Doctor of Science in Egyptology. No, the building has the form of a triangle in plan, when viewed from above, and it is this decision that perfectly corresponds to the construction of the veranda along with the main functional rooms of the bath.

    Conclusion

    Projects of corner baths are gaining more and more popularity. There are several reasons for this. On the one hand, the cost of land around megacities is growing, and it is quite natural that the developer is trying to use the received space as rationally and efficiently as possible. On the other hand, baths of this type, with the competent organization of construction, make it possible to end up with an effective and convenient structure, which, among other things, will be very non-trivial and successful from a design point of view. Still in doubt? Then try.
