Pork in the oven with tomatoes and cheese is a worthy decoration for a feast. Recipes for pork in the oven with tomatoes and cheese: the French have nothing to do with it! How to bake pork with tomatoes and cheese in the oven Recipe for baked pork with tomatoes

Pork with tomatoes and cheese in the oven is a dish that can be cooked every day. I cook it for both a family dinner and a holiday feast, because the pork turns out juicy, aromatic, with the sourness that the tomato gives, and the cheese crust also gives this dish additional taste and satiety.

You can prepare this dish in two ways:

  1. Cut the pork into portions and place tomato slices and grated cheese on each piece of meat. Place the meat on a baking sheet and bake.
  2. Prepare a dish in the form of an “accordion” by cutting the pork flesh partially into portions and inserting tomatoes and cheese into the cuts. I will cook oven-baked pork with tomatoes and cheese according to the second option.

We will prepare all the products according to the list. You can take pork tenderloin, you can take neck. I also like to add onion rings to the tomatoes and cheese, but onions are optional. Spices are the simplest: salt, pepper and seasoning for meat.

Dry the pork pulp with paper towels, cut into portions, without cutting all the way, to make an accordion of meat. Place the meat in a fireproof dish. I make a small casing out of foil to help the meat hold its shape while baking.

Lubricate the pork well with vegetable oil and season it with spices, sprinkle each cut with spices.

Cut the onion into rings, the tomato into slices, and the hard cheese into slices. Grate a little cheese on a medium grater; we will need it to sprinkle the top of the meat.

Place onion, tomato and cheese in each cut.

Sprinkle cheese on top of dish.

IMPORTANT: Cover the meat with foil and place it in an oven preheated to 170 degrees C for 90 minutes.

10 minutes before cooking, remove the foil and cook the meat under the grill to form a cheese crust.

Pork with tomatoes and cheese in the oven was a success! Juicy, aromatic!

Bon appetit!

Every housewife probably has a couple of “signature” recipes for dishes that can be prepared for the holiday table and served for a family dinner. But it’s impossible to prepare the same treats year after year, we all want variety, so if you are looking for a new, tasty, and at the same time easy-to-prepare dish, then be sure to take note of our recipe.

With tomatoes and cheese, or as it is often called “French-style meat,” it will allow you to feed your family a hearty dinner or serve a surprisingly aromatic, beautiful main dish for lunch. By the way, if you prefer chicken, which is not as high in calories and contains less fat than beef or pork, then it can also be used in the recipe.

How to cook meat in the oven with tomatoes and cheese

For several servings you will need:

  • 400 g beef meat;
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes;
  • 2-3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • 200 g grated cheese;
  • salt and spices.

First, prepare the beef: defrost it, if it was frozen, cut it into large enough pieces - out of 400 g you should get 4-5 pieces, and beat it. So it will be softer. Each plate of meat should be peppered and sprinkled with spices to taste, but do not add salt. The baking dish must be thoroughly greased with vegetable oil and then lay out all the pieces, and then pre-cut tomatoes (in circles) on top, spread a little mayonnaise - this will make the dish juicier, and then sprinkle with grated cheese.

Don’t skimp on the latter; the more Parmesan or cheddar you add, the tastier and more appetizing the crust will be. Next, our meat with tomatoes and cheese should be sent to the oven, preheated to 160-180 degrees, and cooked for 40 minutes. As a result, you will get a very beautiful and tasty dish. It can be served with boiled potatoes or vegetable salad. As you can see, the cooking process itself (with the exception of baking, which does not require your direct participation) takes no more than 10-15 minutes. And such a dinner will be appreciated by all members of your family. Meat in the oven with tomatoes and cheese can also be prepared using pork, but in this case the dish should be left in the oven for 1 hour. Also keep in mind that this type of meat contains more fat than beef. And if you prefer a dietary option, you can try preparing this dish using chicken breasts. It will turn out no worse, and the calorie content of your lunch or dinner will noticeably decrease.

Meat with tomatoes and cheese - dietary option with chicken breasts

To prepare, remove from the refrigerator:

Wash and dry, for softness you can lightly beat with a hammer, add salt and sprinkle with spices on both sides to taste. Cut the tomatoes into rings and the onion into half rings. Then place the chicken on a greased baking sheet, then the onions and tomatoes, sprinkle well with grated cheese and bake for 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Please note that this recipe does not contain mayonnaise, which further reduces its calorie content. Roasted meat with tomatoes and cheese is sure to become a favorite dish, and its recipe will take its rightful place in your cookbook.

Today I propose to prepare a delicious dish - very tender and aromatic pork baked in the oven with tomatoes and cheese.

Meat prepared in this way is suitable for both a traditional family lunch and a gala anniversary dinner.

The beauty of this recipe is that it is very simple to prepare, and the result is a bright, beautiful dish that will pleasantly surprise and delight your guests not only with its taste, but also with an appetizing festive look.

To prepare this dish we will need:

List of ingredients:

  • 2 kg. pork (neck or carbonate)
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 300 gr. cheese
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp dry garlic
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp basilica
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt

Pork baked in the oven with tomatoes and cheese - step-by-step recipe:

First, let's prepare the marinade for the meat.

Pour olive oil into a separate container, add thyme, oregano, rosemary, basil, dried garlic or a head of chopped fresh garlic, add ground black pepper and salt.

Mix everything well, you should get a spicy paste.

Set it aside and get to the meat.

Try to choose a whole, even piece of meat, the neck part or the carbonate.

We cut the meat across the grain into finger-thick portions, not cutting about 1-2 cm to the base.

It should look like a “meat accordion”.

Try to rub each cut piece very thoroughly on both sides.

It is better to do this with gloves because... The marinade is very spicy.

If time allows, leave the meat to marinate for at least a few hours, but even without pre-marinating, the pork turns out very tasty.

The meat is marinated, put it aside and get on with the cheese and tomatoes.

Cut the cheese into not very thin pieces approximately 4-5mm thick. The number of pieces of cheese should correspond to the number of cuts in the meat.

The cheese is prepared, chop the tomatoes.

Just like cheese, cut tomatoes 5 mm thick. at the rate of 1-2 pieces for each meat cut, depending on the size of the tomatoes.

Products are cut.

For baking, I will use a glass fireproof pan.

We line the bottom of the form with a sheet of foil of such a size that we can completely wrap our meat in it.

Carefully transfer the meat to foil.

And now we put 2 pieces of tomato and a slice of cheese in each cut.

Lubricate the foil with nothing, because... When baked, all products will release their juice.

The meat is prepared for baking; wrap it in foil. My foil is very thick and one layer is enough, if you have thin foil, lay it in 2 layers.

Place the form with the meat in the oven, preheated to 200°C for 1.5 hours.

After 1.5 hours, open the foil, pour the juice over the meat and let it brown for another 10 minutes.

In total, the meat spent 1 hour 40 minutes in the oven at a temperature of 200°C, take it out.

Our pork baked in the oven with tomatoes and cheese is ready!

The meat turned out very juicy, with a delicious aroma of herbs, sweet and sour taste of baked tomatoes and delicate notes of cream cheese.

This simple recipe can be prepared by any housewife, I recommend trying it!

I wish everyone a bon appetit!

Finely grate the cheese and sprinkle over each pork chop. Cook in the oven, preheated to 180 C, for about thirty-five minutes.

When the dish is ready, remove it from the oven and let it sit for about ten minutes, and then serve.

Focus on the golden brown crust; it should not be dark brown. Focus on the power of your oven. It is best to bake on medium level.

Peel the onion, cut into thin half rings and place on slices of meat. Then lay out the tomatoes cut into slices.

Spread the mixture we prepared evenly on top. Cover the baking sheet with foil and bake for an hour at 200 C.

You will spend no more than half an hour of active time, even less. The oven will do the rest.

The finished pork is very tender, tasty and juicy. Serve with or without any side dish of your choice. A regular light salad made from fresh vegetables will also work.

Option 3: Pork with cheese and tomatoes in the oven in layers along with champignons

Let's add champignons to the usual ingredients, and form the dish in layers. In the end, we will get a real yummy dish.

Ingredients:

  • 700 g pork;
  • three hundred grams of tomatoes;
  • three hundred grams of champignons;
  • 140 grams of onion;
  • one hundred grams of cheese;
  • three tablespoons of sour cream;
  • three tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • spices.

Step by step recipe

Peel the onion and cut it into thin half rings. Line a baking dish or baking sheet with parchment. You can grease it a little with oil. Spread the onions evenly.

Take the pork, rinse it and wipe it dry. If there is excess fat, cut it off.

Cut the pulp into slices no thicker than one centimeter. Beat the pork on both sides and season with salt and pepper to taste. Place on top of the onions.

Place mayonnaise and sour cream in a bowl and stir. Brush half of the prepared mixture onto the pork.

Cut the washed tomatoes into slices and place in the next layer.

We take our fresh champignons, wash them thoroughly and cut them into slices. Place in a bowl, sprinkle with salt and pepper and stir.

Distribute the mushrooms in the next layer and brush with the remaining sauce.

Coarsely grate the cheese, but don't sprinkle on top yet. Preheat the oven to 180 C.

Bake first for forty minutes, then sprinkle with cheese and cook for another twenty minutes. Serve the finished dish hot.

Option 4: Pork with cheese and tomatoes in the “Accordion” oven

We will spend approximately three hours preparing the dish. Yes, that's a lot. But you will get amazing pork “Accordion”.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork;
  • 1 large tomato;
  • 200 grams of cheese;
  • three cloves of garlic;
  • one tbsp mustard;
  • 50 ml soy sauce;
  • “mixture of peppers” to taste;
  • salt and oil.

How to cook

To get a beautiful accordion, choose an oblong rectangular piece of pork. Rinse it under running water, pat dry with paper towels and place on a cutting board.

We make transverse cuts on top at a distance of one and a half centimeters from each other. Don't cut all the way, we need to make the base for our accordion. Rub with spices on all sides.

Pour soy sauce, vegetable oil, mustard into a bowl and stir until smooth. Peel the garlic, press through a press directly into the bowl and mix again.

Place the accordion of meat in a basin or bowl, brush with the prepared marinade and leave for one hour.

Wash the tomato and cut into slices. Cut the cheese into slices.

Place a piece of foil on the work surface and a pork accordion on it. Carefully place a slice of tomato and a plate of cheese into each cut.

Wrap everything in foil and place on a baking sheet or mold.

Bake for an hour at 190 C. Now you can check the readiness - take out the baking sheet, carefully unfold the foil and pierce it with a thin knife, slightly pushing the pulp away. If the meat is white and the juices are clear, it's ready.

Serve the pork accordion hot on a large platter. If desired, you can place green salad leaves on the plate first for a more impressive presentation.

Option 5: Pork with cheese and tomatoes in the oven with sour cream and mayonnaise

Another recipe for delicious and tender pork baked in the oven with cheese and tomatoes. We'll make the sauce from sour cream and mayonnaise, adding Italian herbs for flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 400 g boneless pork loin;
  • two hundred grams of tomatoes;
  • 75 grams of onion;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • one tablespoon of sour cream;
  • one tablespoon of mayonnaise;
  • 1/2 tsp Italian rights;
  • one tbsp sunflower oil;
  • salt and pepper.

Step by step recipe

As usual, we start by preparing the pork. It must be washed, dried and cut into slices one centimeter wide.

Beat each slice, just don't overdo it. Rub all sides with salt and pepper.

Grease a baking dish with sunflower oil and place the pork chops. Mix sour cream and mayonnaise, add garlic and Italian herbs passed through a press. Mix everything and brush each portion of meat.

Peel the onion and cut into large rings. Lightly fry in vegetable oil. We need to achieve softness and light browning, do not fry too much.

Place the fried rings in the next layer.

Place diced tomatoes on top.

Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180 C for a quarter of an hour.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater, sprinkle on the lightly baked meat and simmer in the oven for another quarter of an hour.

During this time, the pork will bake, and the cheese will melt and brown beautifully. Serve with your favorite side dish of your choice.

Option 6: Pork with cheese and tomatoes in the oven in French

A very simple and proven recipe for preparing tasty and tender pork. Ideally use homemade mayonnaise.

Ingredients:

  • 750 g pork;
  • 2 goals of bow;
  • 400 grams of tomatoes;
  • 100 grams of homemade mayonnaise;
  • 250 grams of cheese;
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil;
  • spices.

How to cook

First, wash and dry the pork, then cut into so-called medallions. We delicately beat each of them and rub with salt and pepper.

Place on a baking sheet or mold greased with sunflower oil.

Cut the peeled onion into thin rings. Rinse the tomatoes and cut into slices. First we put onions on the meat and tomatoes on top.

Lubricate with homemade mayonnaise and sprinkle with coarsely grated cheese.

Rest for about ten minutes, remove the foil to allow the cheese to brown.

Serve with your favorite side dish, garnishing portions of pork with parsley sprigs.

Option 7: Pork rolls with cheese and tomatoes in the oven

We still use three main ingredients: pork, cheese, tomatoes. But this time we will prepare delicious and juicy rolls - cheese and tomatoes will be inside the pork. Unusual, right? Serve the finished dish as a hot appetizer or main course with a side dish.

Ingredients:

  • three hundred grams of pork;
  • 60 grams of cheese;
  • 2 medium tomatoes;
  • 8-10 black peppercorns;
  • 1/3 tsp coriander peas;
  • 1 tsp soy sauce;
  • four tablespoons sunflower oil;
  • salt to taste.

Step by step recipe

Cut the pork into slices and beat with a hammer. You should end up with a palm-sized layer.

Grind the peppercorns and coriander in a mortar or mill. We want the rich aroma of freshly ground spices.

Rub the slices of meat with spices only on the inside, where we will put the tomatoes and cheese. Lubricate with additional soy sauce.

Place the chops on top of each other and leave for fifteen minutes.

Wash the tomatoes and cut into slices no thicker than two centimeters. Cut the cheese into cubes of the same width.

Place a slice of tomato and a strip of cheese on the edge of each slice.

Roll into rolls so that the pork flesh completely covers the filling on all sides. The cheese should not leak out during baking.

Wrap with thread to prevent the rolls from opening. Do not wrap very tightly or crosswise.

Grease a baking dish with sunflower oil. Arrange the rolls and bake at 180 C for forty minutes. After twenty minutes, turn each one over to the other side so that the portions are golden brown on all sides.

At 200 C, 15-20 minutes of baking is enough.

Serve hot, with the threads removed.

Option 8: Original pork with cheese and tomatoes in the oven

Interesting and original recipe. We'll wrap the cheese and tomato filling in a pork roll, roll it in spices, wrap it in bacon and bake it in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 2 kg pork;
  • 200 grams of tomatoes;
  • 200 grams of cheese;
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar;
  • two tbsp salt;
  • one tablespoon of onion powder;
  • one tablespoon of garlic powder;
  • one tbsp chili hammer;
  • one teaspoon of cinnamon;
  • a quarter teaspoon of nutmeg;
  • a quarter teaspoon of red pepper;
  • 1 pack of bacon.

How to cook

Immediately preheat the oven to 200 C. Stir all the specified dry spices in a container in which it will be convenient to roll the roll.

We cut the tenderloin with an accordion with deep cuts. Beat with a hammer into the middle of a large layer, place tomatoes and slices of cheese, alternating each other.

Wrap everything in a roll and roll it thoroughly in spices.

Now spread the bacon on a work surface. Place the roll on it and wrap the bacon slices on all sides.

Place in a pan or place on a greased baking sheet and bake for forty-five minutes. You can do it for an hour, just make sure the bacon doesn’t burn.

Serve hot on a large platter.

Accordion meat with tomatoes and cheese – recipe with photo:

Wash a piece of boneless pork and wipe it with napkins to remove excess moisture. Then take a sharp knife and make transverse cuts in increments of about 1-1.5 cm. Do not cut the pork flesh all the way. The meat (in appearance) should look like an “accordion”.

Then add salt to the meat and sprinkle with the “mixed peppers” spice, paying attention to each cut.

Set the meat aside and prepare the soy-mustard marinade. Mix classic soy sauce with mustard, refined oil and crushed garlic, and then pour the resulting marinade over the prepared meat. Give the pork an hour to thoroughly marinate in the soy-mustard sauce.

While the meat is saturated with the aromas of the marinade, cut the tomatoes into slices, but not too thin, and the cheese into slices.

Cut off a couple of pieces of foil, stack it and lay out the marinated meat with the cuts facing up. Then insert a slice of cheese and a slice of tomato into each cut. If the tomato circle is too large in diameter, you can cut it in half. Wrap the meat, tomatoes and cheese tightly in foil and place in a heat-resistant dish. Make sure the stuffed cuts are facing up.

Bake the pork at 190 degrees for about an hour. Then carefully unfold the foil and cook the accordion meat with tomatoes and cheese until golden brown, i.e. keep in the oven for another 20 minutes at the same temperature. If desired, after unrolling the foil, you can cover the meat with potatoes boiled until tender and brown the meat together with the potatoes. These crispy potatoes make an excellent side dish for meat.

Place the rosy, juicy meat on a plate and, garnished with herbs or lettuce, serve. Accordion meat with tomatoes and cheese looks incomparable; this appetizing dish will not leave anyone indifferent.
