Do not strive to make a small kitchen perfectly white. This is not very practical - in a small area, any pollution will be evident. But if the argument about cleaning did not convince you, then answer this question - will you be comfortable in a room in which there is only white and there is not a single color spot?

We are not against the use of white textured wallpaper in the kitchen. But in this case, it is better to choose colored headsets and accessories. The furniture should be at least a couple of tones lighter or darker than the white wallpaper chosen for the kitchen.

There is another well-established rule: the smaller the size of the kitchen, the less pronounced should be the print on the wallpaper that is used for wall decor.

A large ornament is, in principle, permissible, but in a very dosed way, it is undesirable to completely paste over the walls with wallpaper with voluminous large flowers or horizontal wide bright stripes - such drawings visually make the room heavier. Therefore, we recommend betting on wallpapers of neutral colors with a medium-sized pattern.

This rule does not apply if photo wallpaper is used instead of the usual paper or vinyl wallpaper. A bright large image is acceptable here. But we recommend gluing these wallpapers on an accent wall - in this case, they will attract attention to themselves, this will distract guests who have looked into the kitchen in Khrushchev.

You can adopt the idea of a combined design: the upper part of the wall is pasted over with striped wallpaper, and the lower part is plain. It is desirable to use a wide border as a delimiter.

Separately, it is worth noting the drawers under the sink: they allow you to use the space in the sink cabinet more efficiently than a conventional swing cabinet. The only thing that could possibly cost was to change the refrigerator and closet with appliances in places. In this case, it would be possible to observe the rule of the working triangle (refrigerator-sink-stove). Now you have to go through the whole room from the refrigerator to the sink.

In addition to the yellow walls, the accent in the room is red in a small amount in the form of pillows and flower pots. This makes the kitchen bright and positive.
