  • Can of corn (can be replaced with peas)
  • Can of tuna
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • Half an onion
  • Dill
  • Glass of rice
  • Mayonnaise

Soak the rice to remove unnecessary starch. Cook the rice until done.

When you have bitter onions, then pour boiling water over them.

Let's take care of the fish. Canned tuna is sold in oil or in its own juice. For this salad, take tuna in juice. In a can, tuna can be a whole piece or chopped. Usually, already chopped canned meat is used for salads. Open the jar of fish and drain the liquid; it will not be needed for the salad. That's all for now, let's leave the fish.

Now let's get to the potatoes. Peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into small cubes.

Chop the fresh cucumber into cubes. We cut off the peel from the cucumber only if it is hard. If you prepare the salad out of season for fresh vegetables (in winter), then you can use pickled or sour cucumber, but the taste of the salad will change and it will become sour.

  3. Now let's clean all the components and start slicing.
  4. Cut the cucumber into strips; if the peel is thick, it is better to cut it off. In winter, you can add pickled cucumber, but we will get a different taste - with sourness. For now, let's set the cucumber aside.
  5. We will also cut the potatoes into strips; we will moisten the knife in cold water so that it does not stick. We will also place it in a separate bowl.
  6. Let's try cutting eggs into half rings. We will also put them separately for now.
  7. Now let's start forming the salad. Let's take a nice plate and put our potato strips on the bottom. Cover the top with a thin mesh of mayonnaise.
  8. The next layer is pickled onions and also a mayonnaise mesh.
  9. Place eggs and mayonnaise on top.
  10. You need to carefully place tuna pieces on a layer of eggs, without juice or oil, it is better if the pieces are small. We do not cover fish with mayonnaise.
  11. Place a cucumber on top of it (without mayonnaise).
  12. And put the corn on the very top. That's it - we did it.
  13. To make the salad look even better (and to hide our assembly flaws), put lettuce or parsley on the plate around it. It will be very beautiful.
