They can be plain, in the color of the walls, but with contrasting graphic edging, the color of which can be repeated in other interior details. The advantage of this technique is that it raises the ceiling. But be careful: in rooms with already too high ceilings, this technique is inappropriate.
2. Non-standard combinations. All curtain manufacturers have catalogs that present ready-made combinations with companion fabrics (for example, patterned fabric + striped + plain version). But this does not meet the latest trends that encourage designers to combine different, contrasting curtain colors even on the same window. The reception is exacting to the taste of the one who selects the fabrics: the slightest mistake, and instead of a bold decision, kitsch will turn out.
3. Contrast stripe. A trend that has been going on for more than a year is a contrasting horizontal stripe 60-70 centimeters wide. It looks fresh, but there is a pitfall: such a pattern can emphasize low ceilings.
4. Pleats haute couture. The fashion for lambrequins is a thing of the past, but if you still want volume, choose curtains with complex, even sophisticated folds. 9. Different textures. You can choose fabrics of the same texture in different colors, or you can choose the same color, but different textures. This solution avoids mistakes: it is easier to use than trying to combine different textures and colors at the same time.
