If there is life after death. Is there life after death, reincarnation and karma

Otherworld- very interesting topic that everyone thinks about at least once in their life. What happens to a person and his soul after death? Can he observe living people? These and many questions cannot but excite. The most interesting thing is that there are many various theories about what happens to a person after death. Let's try to understand them and answer the questions that concern many people.

"Your body will die, but your soul will live forever"

Bishop Theophan the Recluse addressed these words in his letter to his dying sister. He, like others Orthodox priests, believed that only the body dies, but the soul lives forever. What is the reason for this and how does religion explain it?

The Orthodox teaching about life after death is too large and voluminous, so we will consider only some of its aspects. First of all, in order to understand what happens to a person and his soul after death, it is necessary to find out what is the purpose of all life on earth. In the Epistle to the Hebrews of the Holy Apostle Paul, there is a mention that every person must die sometime, and after that there will be a judgment. This is exactly what Jesus Christ did when he voluntarily surrendered himself to his enemies to death. Thus, he washed away the sins of many sinners and showed that the righteous, just like him, would one day be resurrected. Orthodoxy believes that if life were not eternal, then it would have no meaning. Then people would really live, not knowing why they would die sooner or later, there would be no point in doing good deeds. That is why the human soul is immortal. Jesus Christ opened the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven for the Orthodox and believers, and death is only the completion of the preparation for a new life.

What is the soul

The human soul continues to live after death. It is the spiritual beginning of man. The mention of this can be found in Genesis (chapter 2), and it sounds something like this: “God created man from the dust of the earth and blew the breath of life into his face. Now man has become a living soul.” Holy Scripture "tells" us that man is two-part. If the body can die, then the soul lives forever. She is a living entity, endowed with the ability to think, remember, feel. In other words, the human soul continues to live after death. She understands, feels and - most importantly - remembers everything.

spiritual vision

In order to make sure that the soul is really capable of feeling and understanding, it is only necessary to recall the cases when the human body died for a while, but the soul saw and understood everything. Similar stories can be read in a variety of sources, for example, K. Ikskul in his book “Incredible for many, but a true incident” describes what happens after death to a person and his soul. Everything in the book is personal experience the author, who fell ill with a serious illness and experienced clinical death. Almost everything that can be read on this topic in various sources is very similar to each other.

People who have experienced clinical death characterize it with a white enveloping fog. Below you can see the body of the man himself, next to him are his relatives and doctors. Interestingly, the soul, separated from the body, can move in space and understand everything. Some argue that after the body ceases to show any signs of life, the soul passes through a long tunnel, at the end of which a bright light burns. White color. Then, as a rule, for some time the soul returns to the body again, and the heart begins to beat. What if the person dies? What then happens to him? What does the human soul do after death?

Encounter with peers

After the soul separates from the body, it can see spirits, both good and bad. It is interesting that, as a rule, she is attracted to her own kind, and if during her life any of the forces had an influence on her, then after death she will be attached to her. This period of time when the soul chooses its "company" is called the Private Court. It is then that it becomes completely clear whether the life of this person was in vain. If he fulfilled all the commandments, was kind and generous, then, undoubtedly, the same souls will be next to him - kind and pure. The opposite situation is characterized by the society of fallen spirits. They are waiting eternal torment and suffering in hell.

First few days

It is interesting what happens after death with the soul of a person in the first few days, because this period is for her a time of freedom and enjoyment. It is during the first three days that the soul can freely move around the earth. As a rule, she is at this time near her native people. She even tries to talk to them, but it turns out with difficulty, because a person is not able to see and hear spirits. In rare cases, when the connection between people and the dead is very strong, they feel the presence of a soul mate nearby, but cannot explain it. For this reason, the burial of a Christian takes place exactly 3 days after death. In addition, it is this period that the soul needs in order to realize where it is now. It is not easy for her, she may not have had time to say goodbye to anyone or say anything to anyone. Most often, a person is not ready for death, and he needs these three days to understand the essence of what is happening and say goodbye.

However, there are exceptions to every rule. For example, K. Ikskul began his journey to another world on the first day, because the Lord told him so. Most of the saints and martyrs were ready for death, and in order to go to another world, it took them only a few hours, because this was their main goal. Each case is completely different, and information comes only from those people who have experienced "post-mortem experience" on themselves. If we are not talking about clinical death, then everything can be completely different here. The proof that in the first three days the soul of a person is on earth is also the fact that it is during this period of time that the relatives and friends of the deceased feel their presence nearby.

Next stage

The next stage of the transition to the afterlife is very difficult and dangerous. On the third or fourth day, trials await the soul - ordeals. There are about twenty of them, and all of them must be overcome so that the soul can continue its journey. Ordeals are whole crowds of evil spirits. They block the way and accuse her of sins. The Bible also talks about these trials. Mother of Jesus - Pure and Reverend Mary, - having learned about the imminent death from the Archangel Gabriel, she asked her son to save her from demons and ordeals. In response to her requests, Jesus said that after death, he would lead her by the hand to Heaven. And so it happened. This action can be seen on the icon "Assumption of the Virgin". On the third day, it is customary to pray fervently for the soul of the deceased, so you can help her pass all the tests.

What happens a month after death

After the soul has gone through the ordeal, it worships God and goes on a journey again. This time, hellish abysses and heavenly abodes await her. She watches how sinners suffer and how the righteous rejoice, but she does not yet have her own place. On the fortieth day, the soul is assigned a place where, like everyone else, it will await the Supreme Court. There is also evidence that only until the ninth day does the soul see the heavenly abodes and observe the righteous souls who live in happiness and joy. The rest of the time (about a month) she has to look at the torments of sinners in hell. At this time, the soul cries, mourns and meekly awaits its fate. On the fortieth day, the soul is assigned a place where it will wait for the resurrection of all the dead.

Who goes where and where

Of course, only the Lord God is omnipresent and knows exactly where the soul goes after the death of a person. Sinners go to hell and spend time there in anticipation of even greater torment that will come after the Supreme Court. Sometimes such souls can come in dreams to friends and relatives, asking for help. You can help in such a situation by praying for a sinful soul and asking the Almighty for forgiveness of her sins. There are cases when sincere prayer for a deceased person really helped him to move into better world. So, for example, in the 3rd century, the martyr Perpetua saw that the fate of her brother was like a filled reservoir, which was too high for him to reach. Days and nights she prayed for his soul, and in time she saw how he touches the pond and is transported to a bright, clean place. From the foregoing, it becomes clear that the brother was pardoned and sent from hell to heaven. The righteous, thanks to the fact that they lived their lives not in vain, go to heaven and look forward to the Day of Judgment.

The teachings of Pythagoras

As mentioned earlier, there are a huge number of theories and myths regarding afterlife. For many centuries, scientists and clergy have been studying the question: how to find out where a person went after death, looking for answers, arguing, looking for facts and evidence. One of these theories was the teaching of Pythagoras on the transmigration of souls, the so-called reincarnation. The same opinion was held by such scholars as Plato and Socrates. A huge amount of information about reincarnation can be found in such a mystical current as Kabbalah. Its essence lies in the fact that the soul has a certain goal, or a lesson that it must go through and learn. If in the course of life the person in whom this soul lives does not cope with this task, it is reborn.

What happens to the body after death? It dies and it is impossible to resurrect it, but the soul is looking for a new life. In this theory, it is also interesting that, as a rule, all people who are in a family relationship are not connected at all by chance. More specifically, the same souls are constantly looking for each other and find. For example, in a past life, your mother could have been your daughter or even your spouse. Since the soul has no gender, it can be either feminine or masculine, depending on which body it enters.

There is an opinion that our friends and soul mates are also kindred spirits who are connected with us karmically. There is one more nuance: for example, a son and a father constantly have conflicts, no one wants to give in, until last days two relatives are literally at war with each other. Most likely, in the next life, fate will bring these souls together again, as brother and sister or as husband and wife. This will continue until both of them find a compromise.

Square of Pythagoras

Supporters of the Pythagorean theory are most often interested not in what happens to the body after death, but in what kind of incarnation their soul lives and who they were in a past life. In order to find out these facts, the square of Pythagoras was drawn up. Let's try to understand it with an example. Let's say you were born on December 03, 1991. It is necessary to write down the received numbers in a line and carry out some manipulations with them.

  1. It is necessary to add all the numbers and get the main one: 3 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 1 = 26 - this will be the first number.
  2. Next, you need to add the previous result: 2 + 6 = 8. This will be the second number.
  3. In order to get the third one, it is necessary to subtract the doubled first digit of the date of birth from the first one (in our case, 03, we don’t take zero, we subtract the triple multiplied by 2): 26 - 3 x 2 \u003d 20.
  4. The last number is obtained by adding the digits of the third working number: 2 + 0 = 2.

Now write down the date of birth and the results obtained:

In order to find out which incarnation the soul lives in, it is necessary to count all numbers except zeros. In our case, the human soul, born on December 3, 1991, lives on the 12th incarnation. By composing the square of Pythagoras from these numbers, you can find out what characteristics it has.

Some facts

Many, of course, are interested in the question: is there life after death? All world religions are trying to give an answer to it, but there is still no unequivocal answer. Instead, in some sources you can find some Interesting Facts regarding this topic. Of course, it cannot be said that the statements that will be given below are dogma. These are just some of the interesting thoughts on the subject.

What is death

It is difficult to answer the question of whether there is life after death without finding out the main signs of this process. In medicine, this concept is understood as a stoppage of breathing and heartbeat. But we should not forget that these are signs of the death of the human body. On the other hand, there is evidence that the mummified body of a monk-priest continues to show all signs of life: soft tissues pressed through, the joints are bent, a fragrance emanates from it. Some mummified bodies even grow nails and hair, perhaps confirming the fact that certain biological processes still occur in the dead body.

What happens a year after death ordinary person? Of course, the body decomposes.

Finally

Given all of the above, we can say that the body is just one of the shells of a person. In addition to it, there is also a soul - an eternal substance. Almost all world religions agree that after the death of the body, the soul of a person still lives, someone believes that it is reborn in another person, and someone that it lives in Heaven, but, one way or another, it continues to exist . All thoughts, feelings, emotions are the spiritual sphere of a person that lives, despite physical death. Thus, it can be considered that life after death exists, but it is no longer interconnected with the physical body.

A strange question: "Is there life after death? In general, where did a person get the concept of ""? After all, if we proceed from the theory of evolution, then man himself appeared on earth, and human life is just a series of certain interconnected chemical reactions… When reactions stop, life stops. But the question is: why is a person able to think or think about what he should not think about in principle? I have already given an example with fish. She swims in the water and she does not have a question: why is the water so wet? Water is hers habitat habitat, so it is absolutely normal for fish that the water is wet. Now let's look at a person. If he has educated himself and gives life to himself, then, firstly, the concept of good and evil should not exist for him, because everything should be perceived as a natural habitat, and even more so a person should not distinguish that good is good, and evil is bad. Secondly, a self-sufficient person cannot, in principle, have thoughts about life after death, and even more so thoughts about it, because. death, it is a natural consequence of existence.

But, the fact is that a person distinguishes between good and evil, and is able to think about eternity. Question: how does he know about it? Who gave man a conscience so that he knows what is bad and what is good?

I like the story of Winnie the Pooh, when he came to visit a rabbit, put his head in a hole and asks: "Anyone there?" And the rabbit answers him, - "There is no one." Winnie the Pooh thought about it and said: "It's strange, because someone had to say" There is no one "."

Friends, if a person knows what is bad and what is good, then there must be Someone Who would have to tell him about it or put this program into him.

God gives through the Bible clear answers to these questions. The story of creation, which God told us through the Bible, tells us that initially God created man physically eternal. Those. Man is originally meant not for death, but for life. After people sinned and left God, they ceased to be eternal physically, but they still had the desire and desire for an endless life. That is why people dream of apples and pills that give eternal life... But death appeared as a consequence of sin. And now God in the Bible declares: “… people are supposed to die once, and then judgment» (Heb.9:27) There are two thoughts here:

1. Everyone must die.

2. After death there will be a mandatory judgment.

The second part speaks unambiguously about the continuation of life, otherwise how to judge someone who does not exist?

But this is not all that the Bible reveals to us. The Bible says that a person consists of several components. He was created in the likeness of God, and also, like God, has a tripartite nature. There are three components of a person: May the God of peace Himself sanctify you in all its fullness, and your spirit and soul and body in all its integrity may it be preserved without blemish at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ". (1 Thess. 5:23) There are three components:

1. The body is the center of world knowledge.

2. The soul is the center of self-consciousness.

3. Spirit is the center of God-knowledge.

God originally created all three components to be eternal, including the body. But the Bible shows the reason why man ceased to be eternal physically - this is sin. Until now, scientists are struggling with the problem of aging and cannot stop it. After all, the whole organism is constantly updated and theoretically can renew itself forever. It's just getting old for some reason. People dream that one day a way will be found to defeat old age, and then they will finally be able to live forever ... But this will never happen. Because death is not the cessation of chemical reactions. Death is the separation of the soul and spirit from the body. This is the whole point. You can make a person forever young, but he will still die, despite the fact that his body will be young, because the Bible says that "the wages of sin is death." Sin is the cause of aging and death, not the breaking of the genetic code. God controls life and death. And if He stops life, then no one can restore it except Him. “...Thus says the Holy One, the True One, who has the key of David, who opens and no one closes , closes and no one will open ." (Rev. 3:7)

With the body, everything is clear - it is mortal, but with other components - the spirit and souls, everything is different. They remain eternal, as they were originally created. That is why the human soul longs for eternity and wants to live forever.

The Bible says that the human soul is able to exist outside the body, and the body is only a means of communication with the physical world.

Those people who are looking for the secrets of eternal life are not looking for them there. The center of man is not in the brain or in any other physical organ. The center of a person is the soul, which is located in another dimension, inaccessible to the physical world. That is why Christ said: And do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul; but rather fear the One Who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna". (Mat. 10:28). In fact, a person cannot be killed. You can only destroy its physical shell.

It turns out that the human brain is apparently a relay of signals to the spiritual world, as well as a receiver of information from there. How this happens, at what frequency and in what spectrum is unknown. For the most part, scientists study the structure of the brain as a center for storing information, and not as a receiver and transmitter of information to an external storage. Such scientists will never understand the principle of the functioning of the brain, because they look in the wrong place and give it the wrong functionality that it actually has.

It seems that the human brain is a window into another dimension. And if you find out how he transmits information to another dimension, then you can learn a lot of incredible things and discover new communication technologies ... But, these are just thoughts ... But this is not about that now.

The Bible says that when the time comes, a person leaves his body, as if disconnected, and exists outside the body, keeping in himself all the information received through the communication channels from the body. " And the dust will return to the earth as it was; and the spirit returned to God, who gave him". (Eccl. 12:7)

There is interesting story, which Jesus Christ told, she lifts the veil over the secret of life after death:

« A certain man was rich, dressed in purple and fine linen, and feasted splendidly every day. There was also a certain beggar, named Lazarus, who lay at his gate in scabs and desired to feed on the crumbs falling from the rich man's table, and the dogs, coming, licked his scabs. The beggar died and was carried by the angels to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died, and they buried him. And in hell, being in torment, he raised his eyes in his bosom, and crying out, he said, Father Abraham! have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I suffer in this flame. But Abraham said: child! remember that you have already received your good in your life, and Lazarus - evil; now he is consoled here, and you suffer; and besides all this, a great chasm has been established between us and you, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can they pass from there to us. Then he said: So I ask you, father, send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers; let him testify to them that they also do not come to this place of torment. Abraham said to him: They have Moses and the prophets; let them listen. He said: No, Father Abraham, but if anyone from the dead comes to them, they will repent. Then [Abraham] said to him: If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, then if someone rises from the dead, they will not believe." (Luke 16:19-31)

Jesus is a man who came from where we all have to go, and He tells how everything is arranged there. From his story we can draw the following conclusions:

1. Man after death continues to feel (And in hell, being in torment… , now he is comforted here, and you suffer)

2. Man after death can see (lifted up his eyes, saw Abraham and Lazarus afar off)

3. The person can communicate (and crying out he said...But Abraham said…)

4. Man after death recognizes other people : (I saw Abraham and Lazarus in the distance)

5. A person has a memory of the past: (recognizes people: I saw Abraham and Lazarus in the distance, Remembers living brothers and father: send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers; let him testify to them that they also do not come to this place of torment…)

These facts are confirmed by hundreds of thousands of eyewitnesses who experienced clinical death and left the body. Subsequently, they accurately described all the procedures that were performed on their body, and could retell what happened in adjoining rooms and wards, they even talked about who was wearing what clothes. All this confirms that the information is not stored in the brain, but outside it, otherwise, how could a person find out the information that was outside the walls of the operating room? And not only to learn, but also to remember. Scientists have no explanation for these facts, because for them a priori there is no life after death. Therefore, they try to either hush up these facts, or tell all sorts of nonsense, trying to explain such things. If we admit that there is life after death, then it means that we did not originate from a monkey, and everything is not so simple with a person. We have to admit that God created us, and the Bible is right! This means that you just need to close all institutions that study the origin of man from monkeys. This means that people will have to be told that there is a God and that everything the Bible says is true!

But, they will never do this, because it contradicts the existing world system, therefore they will fool people to the last, coming up with more and more crazy explanations of reality.

But the facts are clear: Life after death has been and always will be. And if this is so, then a sea of questions arises: If there is life after death, then Who sent us here? And where do we return when life ends? What is the mission of man on earth, because for some reason we live this life in time on earth in order to return to eternity again? Scientists have no answer to this, but God does. I will try to cover these issues in more detail in future articles. Come back often and you'll find a lot interesting information about life after death. Write your thoughts in the comments, I'm interested in what you think on these issues.

From the point of view of physics, it cannot arise from nowhere and disappear without a trace. The energy must go into another state. It turns out that the soul does not disappear into nowhere. So maybe this law answers the question that has been tormenting humanity for many centuries: is there life after death?

What happens to a person after his death?

The Hindu Vedas say that any creature has two bodies: subtle and gross, and the interaction between them occurs only thanks to the soul. And so, when the gross (that is, physical) body wears out, the soul passes into the subtle, so the gross dies, and the subtle seeks a new one for itself. Therefore, there is a rebirth.

But sometimes it happens that, it would seem, the physical body has died, but some of its fragments continue to live. Visual illustration of this phenomenon - the mummies of monks. Several of these exist in Tibet.

It's hard to believe, but, firstly, their bodies do not decompose, and, secondly, they grow hair and nails! Although, of course, there are no signs of breathing and heartbeat. It turns out that there is life in the mummy? But modern technology cannot catch these processes. But the energy-information field can be measured. And it is many times higher in such mummies than in an ordinary person. So the soul is still alive? How to explain it?

The rector of the International Institute for Social Ecology, Vyacheslav Gubanov, divides death into three types:

  • Physical;
  • Personal;
  • Spiritual.

In his opinion, a person is a combination of three elements: the Spirit, the Personality and the physical body. If everything is clear about the body, then questions arise about the first two components.

Spirit- a subtle-material object, which is represented on the causal plane of the existence of matter. That is, it is a kind of substance that moves the physical body in order to perform certain karmic tasks, to gain the necessary experience.

Personality- formation on the mental plane of the existence of matter, which implements free will. In other words, it is a complex psychological qualities our character.

When the physical body dies, consciousness, according to the scientist, is simply transferred to a higher level of existence of matter. It turns out that this is life after death. People who managed to transfer to the level of the Spirit for a while, and then returned to their physical body, exist. These are those who experienced "clinical death" or coma.

Real facts: what do people feel after leaving for another world?

Sam Parnia, a doctor from an English hospital, decided to conduct an experiment to find out what a person feels after death. At his direction, several boards with colored pictures painted on them were hung under the ceiling in some operating rooms. And every time the patient's heart, breathing and pulse stopped, and then it was possible to bring him back to life, the doctors recorded all his sensations.

One of the participants in this experiment, a housewife from Southampton, said the following:

“I passed out in one of the shops, went there for groceries. I woke up during the operation, but realized that I was floating above my own body. Doctors crowded there, they were doing something, talking among themselves.

I looked to my right and saw a hospital corridor. My cousin was standing there talking on the phone. I overheard him telling someone that I bought too many groceries and the bags were so heavy that my diseased heart did not survive. When I woke up and my brother came up to me, I told him what I had heard. He immediately turned pale and confirmed that he spoke about this while I was unconscious.

A little less than half of the patients in the first seconds perfectly remembered what happened to them when they were unconscious. But what is surprising, none of them saw the drawings! But the patients said that during the "clinical death" there was no pain at all, but they were immersed in peace and bliss. At some point, they would come to the end of a tunnel or gate, where they would have to decide whether to cross that line or go back.

But how to understand where this trait is? And when does the soul pass from the physical to the spiritual body? Our compatriot, Dr. technical sciences Korotkov Konstantin Georgievich.

He did an incredible experiment. Its essence was to explore the bodies just with the help of Kirlian photographs. The hand of the deceased was photographed every hour in a gas-discharge flash. Then the data was transferred to a computer, and an analysis was carried out there according to the necessary indicators. This survey took place over the course of three to five days. The age, sex of the deceased and the nature of death were very different. As a result, all data was divided into three types:

  • The amplitude of the oscillation was quite small;
  • The same, only with a pronounced peak;
  • Large amplitude with long oscillations.

And strangely enough, each type of death was suitable for one single type of data received. If we correlate the nature of death and the amplitude of fluctuations of the curves, it turned out that:

  • the first type corresponds to the natural death of an elderly person;
  • the second is accidental death as a result of an accident;
  • the third is unexpected death or suicide.

But most of all Korotkov was struck by the fact that he was dead, but there were still fluctuations for some time! But this corresponds only to a living organism! It turns out that devices showed vital activity according to all physical data of a deceased person.

The oscillation time was also divided into three groups:

  • With natural death - from 16 to 55 hours;
  • In case of accidental death, a visible jump occurs either after eight hours or at the end of the first day, and after two days the fluctuations come to naught.
  • With an unexpected death, the amplitude becomes smaller only by the end of the first day, and completely disappears by the end of the second. In addition, it was noticed that in the time interval from nine in the evening to two or three in the morning, the most intense bursts are observed.

Summing up the Korotkov experiment, we can conclude that, indeed, even a physically dead body without breathing and heartbeat is not dead - astral.

It is not for nothing that in many traditional religions there is a certain period of time. In Christianity, for example, it is nine and forty days. But what does the soul do at this time? Here we can only guess. Perhaps she is traveling between two worlds, or her future fate is being decided. No wonder, probably, there is a rite of burial and prayer for the soul. People believe that one should speak about the dead either well or not at all. Most likely, our kind words help the soul make the difficult transition from the physical to the spiritual body.

By the way, the same Korotkov tells a few more amazing facts. Every night he went down to the morgue to spend necessary measurements. And the first time he came there, it immediately seemed to him that someone was following him. The scientist looked around, but saw no one. He never considered himself a coward, but at that moment it became really scary.

Konstantin Georgievich felt a close look at him, but there was no one in the room besides him and the deceased! Then he decided to establish where this invisible someone is. He took steps around the room, and finally determined that the entity was not far from the body of the deceased. The following nights were just as frightening, but Korotkov nevertheless curbed his emotions. He also said that, surprisingly, he got tired quite quickly with such measurements. Although during the day this work was not tiring for him. It felt like someone was sucking the energy out of him.

Is there a heaven and hell - confession of a dead man

But what happens to the soul after it finally leaves the physical body? Here it is worth citing another eyewitness account. Sandra Ayling is a nurse in Plymouth. One day she was watching TV at home and suddenly felt a squeezing pain in her chest. Later it turned out that she had a blockage of blood vessels, and she could die. Here is what Sandra said about her feelings at that moment:

“It seemed to me that I was flying at great speed through a vertical tunnel. Looking around, I saw a huge number of faces, only they were distorted into disgusting grimaces. I was scared, but soon I flew past them, they were left behind. I flew towards the light, but still could not reach it. As if he was moving away from me more and more.

Suddenly, at one moment, it seemed to me that all the pain was gone. It became good and calm, I was embraced by a feeling of peace. True, it did not last long. At one point, I sharply felt my own body and returned to reality. I was taken to the hospital, but I kept thinking about the sensations that I experienced. The scary faces I saw must have been hell, and the light and the feeling of bliss must have been heaven.”

But then how can the theory of reincarnation be explained? It has been in existence for thousands of years.

Reincarnation is the rebirth of the soul in a new physical body. This process was described in detail by the famous psychiatrist Ian Stevenson.

He studied more than two thousand cases of reincarnation and came to the conclusion that a person in his new incarnation will have the same physical and physiological characteristics as in the past. For example, warts, scars, freckles. Even burr and stuttering can be carried through several reincarnations.

Stevenson chose hypnosis to find out what happened to his patients in past lives. One boy had a strange scar on his head. Thanks to hypnosis, he remembered that in a past life he was crushed in the head with an ax. According to his descriptions, Stevenson went to look for people who might have known about this boy in his past life. And luck smiled at him. But what was the surprise of the scientist when he found out that, indeed, in the place that the boy pointed out to him, a man used to live. And he died from a blow with an axe.

Another participant in the experiment was born almost without fingers. Once again Stevenson put him under hypnosis. So he learned that in the last incarnation a person was injured while working in the field. The psychiatrist found people who confirmed to him that there was a man who accidentally put his hand into the harvester and cut off his fingers.

So how to understand whether the soul will go to heaven or hell after the death of the physical body, or be reborn? E. Barker offers his theory in the book “Letters from the Living Deceased”. He compares the physical body of a person with a shitik (dragonfly larva), and the spiritual body with the dragonfly itself. According to the researcher, the physical body walks on the ground, like a larva on the bottom of a reservoir, and the thin one, like a dragonfly, soars in the air.

If a person has “worked out” all the necessary tasks in his physical body (shitika), then he “turns” into a dragonfly and gets new list, only at a higher level, the level of matter. If he has not worked out the previous tasks, then reincarnation occurs, and the person is reborn in another physical body.

At the same time, the soul keeps memories of all its past lives and transfers mistakes to a new one. Therefore, in order to understand why certain failures occur, people go to hypnotists who help them remember what happened in those past lives. Thanks to this, people begin to more consciously approach their actions and avoid old mistakes.

Perhaps, after death, one of us will go to the next, spiritual level, and will solve any extraterrestrial tasks there. Others will be reborn and become human again. Only in a different time and physical body.

In any case, I want to believe that there, beyond the line, there is something else. Some other life, about which we can now only build hypotheses and assumptions, explore it and set up various experiments.

But still, the main thing is not to get hung up on this issue, but just to live. Here and now. And then death will no longer seem like a terrible old woman with a scythe.

Death will come to everyone, it is impossible to escape from it, it is the law of nature. But it is in our power to make this life bright, memorable and full of only positive memories.

The article tells about the observation of the death of a person from the side, with the help of clairvoyance. All the processes experienced by the soul (human subtle body) in this phase of transition from one state to another are described.

In our world, unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. Everything that has a beginning sooner or later comes to a logical end, and human life is no exception. Everyone who has lost loved ones and experienced the pain of loss sooner or later comes to think about life after death, about what happens to the human soul after the end of its earthly existence, and whether there is anything at all there, on the other side of life. An unequivocal answer to all these questions is given by the teaching of Theosophy. “God created man immortal, in the image and likeness of his own eternity” is the foundational treatise of Theosophy.

This teaching can not only give comfort to people who have lost loved ones, but also give insight, show that every person, even during his lifetime, is able to lift the veil of secrecy and see that there is another invisible world.

Every person is capable of this, every person has a sixth sense, but the vast majority of them do not use it. Only a few today have awakened it in themselves and become able to see much more than the ordinary, to which the minds of most people are accustomed. The number of people with expanded vision is growing, but so slowly that, most likely, it will be common only for later races.

Today, the possibility of expanded vision can only be put forward as a hypothesis that requires confirmation and verification, but each individual person will be able to experience this, not as entering a trance or some kind of mystical phenomenon, but as an ability that requires some training. Here, the personal desire of each person is already required, and the obvious question to be asked first is: “ What will I see if I discover this ability in myself?»

Imagine that we are near the deathbed of a man dying of old age. What do we see? From the extremities of the body, the vital force flows towards the heart and a radiant focus of light is formed, which then moves to the region of the head, more precisely, to the region of the third ventricle of the brain, which throughout life is the seat of the consciousness of "I". A dying person can be both conscious and unconscious. In the latter case, a clairvoyant person is able to see the dying person outside his body, in his superphysical vehicle, which almost exactly repeats the physical shell. It is made of much finer matter than our ether, has a radiance and is surrounded by a color-changing glow. This glow is the aura. Colors correspond to states of consciousness, thoughts and feelings, about which there is a whole science. Briefly about the correspondence of colors and human states: a green glow means sympathy and a desire to help, yellow - intellectual and mental stress, blue - reverence, purple color shows spirituality, and pink, saturated to crimson - love. Red is the color of anger, brown is selfishness, and so on. Clairvoyants can see the colors of people's auras in Everyday life, but you can use it only with permission and for the sake of research.

Common Features of the Dying Process

Even around a person dying in an unconscious state, an aura can be observed. At this moment, a person is outside his physical body, hovering over it. Only a thin thread of silver light remains, flowing between the physical body and the superphysical body. As long as this thread exists, there is the possibility of returning to life, as soon as the connection is lost, there is no way back.

There are cases when a dying person regains consciousness, but sees phenomena from another world, names people who are not physically present. But as soon as the appointed moment arrives, the subtle connection breaks and ascends.

The moment of death for a person is akin to falling asleep, it is also not realized. In the mind of a person, a lived life passes, results are summed up, conclusions are drawn. This process is very important, since it draws a certain wisdom and experience from it, therefore, Theosophy calls to remain calm, being on the deathbed of a dying person. You need to direct your emotions to the love and inspiration of a loved one, to the transition to other worlds and liberation from the limitations of the physical body, since being in his superphysical image, he is extremely sensitive to the emotions of the people around him.

After leaving the body, a person is completely unconscious for 46-48 hours, after which there is an awakening into a new life. Often without realizing what happened, a person begins to look around. Most often he is met by a friend, relative, or a member of the great team of helpers who take care of newcomers, explain that this is the beginning of a new life, help to get settled.

What is this new life? The answer is simple. We visit that world every night when our physical bodies sleep. Often, a dream is a confused memory of our life in that world, perhaps there are already friends and a place there, and, in fact, sleep is akin to death, the only difference is that during sleep the connection with the physical body is not interrupted.

An important point worth mentioning is that the place and environment in which a person finds himself after death is completely dependent on him: on his character and temperament. If a person in his physical existence was cheerful and friendly, then his environment will be appropriate, an egocentric and gloomy person may find himself completely alone, in a gray and boring world. This happens in order for the latter to be prompted to change in their perception.

Clairvoyance. About special cases of life after death

If we consider in more detail the research done in the field of clairvoyance, it is worth saying that most people continue the activity that most attracted them on earth, but at a higher level. The limitations of the physical world and consciousness disappear, all the processes and principles by which the universe exists and develops become clear. The currents of forces that govern and direct the physical world, of which it is the illusory product, become visible as such. A scientist who has fallen into this world understands that here his activity is much more fruitful, because there are no more restrictions on consciousness, invisible processes and secrets are revealed. Each adherent of his work continues his activities: teachers teach, people of art - sculptors, artists continue to strive for beauty, researchers continue scientific research and work, which is brought to more high level perfection. The musician will find that the music is not so much heard as seen. A clairvoyant person, when performing music on a physical level, is able to see subtle matter that forms shapes and forms, and on internal plans one can hear the true Song of Creation.

The subtle and light responsiveness of matter to thoughts and feelings very often becomes the first revelation for the student when his inner gaze is opened. Thought can influence and control the surrounding world, it is important to be able to use it correctly.

All life in the world is based on this, to which a person is transferred after death, and clothing, food, movement, everything is carried out by an effort of will and therefore no longer represents a goal for which a person must do business and earn money on Earth. This world is a world of more subtle matter, deeper knowledge and a more distant perspective for development and self-improvement in absolutely any area.

Here common features what awaits each of us after the death of the physical body. But there are circumstances when a person can get into a slightly different world.

  1. Suicide is the case when there are several options for the development of events. The first is suicide committed for a noble purpose, with a disinterested motive. Such people, after breaking with the carnal shell, experience a shock, as there was not enough time for reflection and conclusions. After recovering from the shock, they usually rejoin normal life in the world described above.
  2. Most suicides pursue selfish goals, after death they sink into empty unconsciousness, and remain in it until the end of their life, appointed from above.
  3. The third option, the least enviable, awaits suicides who committed this act out of fear, usually rude and mundane, they remain attached to the physical world even after death. They are driven by passions and desires that they are unable to satisfy, therefore they are attracted to places where drunkenness and debauchery flourishes.

Theosophy defines suicide as a mistake anyway. You have to pay for everything; what you sow is what you reap, suicide will only complicate the setting of things, if not in this life, then in the next incarnation you will have to answer for your mistakes.

A person who died in vice is also doomed to experience unenviable impressions. During life, the physical body drowned out the raging lust and passion, when a person begins to exist outside the physical world, at the level of thoughts and emotions, he experiences familiar feelings with a force that he was not able to imagine before. Unsatisfied desire is one of the worst sufferings. This is what is called hell in many orthodox religions. A person stays in this state until the vice burns out, it can last for days, months or years, after which the person gains life in a new world. It is gratifying to understand that the suffering to which a person is doomed is not useless and not endless, it is a lesson, an experience that will be learned and will remain in the mind forever.

Now you understand that when you reach death, human essence never dies, except for the shell. Each person lives in order to complete his path on Earth and move further in the development of the soul.

Scientists have evidence for the existence of life after death. They found that consciousness can continue after death.

Although this topic is treated with great skepticism, there are testimonies from people who have experienced this experience that will make you think about it.

Dr. Sam Parnia, a professor of near-death experience and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, believes that a person's consciousness can survive brain death when there is no blood flow to the brain and there is no electrical activity.

Beginning in 2008, he collected a wealth of testimonies about near-death experiences that occurred when a person's brain was no more active than a loaf of bread.

According to the visions, conscious awareness lasted up to three minutes after the heart stopped, although the brain usually turns off within 20-30 seconds after the heart stops.

You may have heard from people about the feeling of separation from own body, and they seemed to you fiction. American singer Pam Reynolds spoke about her out-of-body experience during brain surgery, which she experienced at the age of 35.

She was placed in an artificial coma, her body was cooled to 15 degrees Celsius, and her brain was practically deprived of blood supply. In addition, her eyes were closed, and headphones were inserted into her ears, which drowned out sounds.

By hovering over her body, she was able to observe her own operation. The description was very clear. She heard someone say, "Her arteries are too small," as "Hotel California" by The Eagles played in the background.

The doctors themselves were shocked by all the details that Pam told about her experience.

One of the classic examples of a near-death experience is the encounter with deceased relatives on the other side.

Researcher Bruce Greyson believes that what we see when we are in a state of clinical death is not just vivid hallucinations. In 2013, he published a study in which he indicated that the number of patients who met deceased relatives far exceeded the number of those who met living people.

Moreover, there were several cases when people met dead relative on the other side, not knowing that the man had died.

World-renowned Belgian neurologist Steven Laureys does not believe in life after death. He believes that all near-death experiences can be explained through physical phenomena.

Loreys and his team expected NDEs to be like dreams or hallucinations and fade over time.

However, he found that the memories of near-death experiences remain fresh and vivid regardless of the elapsed time and sometimes even overshadow the memories of real events.

In one study, researchers asked 344 patients who had experienced cardiac arrest to describe their experiences within a week of resuscitation.

Of all the people surveyed, 18% could hardly remember their experience, and 8-12% classic example near death experiences

Dutch researcher Pim van Lommel studied the memories of people who survived near-death experiences.

According to the results, many people lost their fear of death, became happier, more positive and more sociable. Virtually everyone spoke of near-death experiences as a positive experience that further influenced their lives over time.

American neurosurgeon Eben Alexander spent 7 days in a coma in 2008, which changed his mind about NDEs. He claimed to have seen things that were hard to believe.

He said that he saw a light and a melody emanating from there, he saw something like a portal to a magnificent reality filled with waterfalls of indescribable colors and millions of butterflies flying across this stage. However, his brain was disabled during these visions to the extent that he should not have had any glimpses of consciousness.

Many have questioned Dr. Eben's words, but if he is telling the truth, perhaps his experiences and those of others should not be ignored.

They interviewed 31 blind people who had experienced clinical death or out-of-body experiences. At the same time, 14 of them were blind from birth.

However, they all described visual images during their experiences, whether it was a tunnel of light, deceased relatives, or viewing their bodies from above.

According to Professor Robert Lanza, all possibilities in the universe happen at the same time. But when the "observer" decides to look, all these possibilities come down to one, which happens in our world. Thus, time, space, matter and everything else exist only through our perception.

If this is the case, then things like "death" cease to be an irrefutable fact and become just a part of perception. In fact, although it may seem that we die in this universe, according to Lanz's theory, our life becomes "an eternal flower that blooms again in the multiverse."

Dr. Ian Stevenson examined and recorded over 3,000 cases of children under the age of 5 who could remember their past lives.

In one case, a girl from Sri Lanka remembered the name of the city she was in and described her family and home in detail. Later, 27 out of 30 of her claims were confirmed. However, none of her family and acquaintances were in any way connected with this city.

Stevenson also documented cases of children who had phobias related to past life, children who had birth defects reflecting the way they died, and even children who flew into a rage at recognizing their "killers".
