Employment

Students undergo practical training in the best hotels, restaurants, and travel agencies in the city. Students are provided with assistance in finding employment and are provided with information about vacancies.

The College of Hotel Service and Tourism (St. Petersburg) trains qualified and competitive specialists who will be able to work in the restaurant business. It should be noted that graduates have the opportunity to get a job in companies that have opened branches all over the world.

A little about the school

Logisticians deal with issues of transporting goods and warehousing. They must be able to keep costs to a minimum, but perform all processes at the highest quality level.

It should be noted that an applicant, like a student, is required to know a foreign language and confidently use a computer. These skills are decisive in this profession.

As a rule, logisticians are required in firms and companies that deal with cargo transportation and transportation of goods.

An applicant must have the following qualities: honesty, flexibility, ability to adapt, hard work, courtesy, endurance, and communication skills.

Commodity expert

The College of Hotel Service and Tourism (St. Petersburg), a photo of which is in the article, trains qualified commodity experts. They are involved in the movement of products in commercial organizations and laboratories.

The main task of a commodity expert is to examine consumer goods and check them for the content of nitrates and other harmful substances. He is also authorized to issue and revoke certificates that confirm quality.

It should be noted that the profession of “commodity expert” is necessary not only in the food sector, but also in everyday life. A person learns to select high-quality products from a large number of goods offered.

What are the advantages of the profession? It is always in demand, the salary is increased, career growth is available to anyone, it is prestigious, it helps to realize oneself. There is also the opportunity to continue studying at a university where this specialty is available.

A merchandiser can work as a director of a company, an administrator (for example, a store or restaurant), or a sales agent.

A person who wants to get this profession must be purposeful, decisive, have a creative and analytical mind, sociable, non-conflict, self-confident, energetic.

Builder

There are now many courses open that allow you to train as a builder. The College of Hotel Service and Tourism (St. Petersburg), the specialties of which are briefly described in the article, allows you to obtain a diploma and become a qualified worker. Students receive not only theoretical knowledge, they also undergo practical training, where they “get their hands on” and prepare for everyday work.

Pros of the profession: demand, wide range of vacancies, good salary, with the company, career growth.

The applicant must have the following skills: flexibility, physical strength, the best possible vision and hearing, strong nerves, excellent eye, dexterity, concentration, accuracy, punctuality. He must also have leadership and organizational skills, without which career growth will not be possible. It is desirable that the applicant be able to unite people and motivate them to work with maximum productivity.

Finally

It should be noted that the reviews about the educational institution are quite pleasant. Everyone who studied there has no complaints about the level of teaching. Each student was able to find a job and was easily enrolled in the desired university in the Russian Federation.

There are those children who study German or French at school, thus not having to deal with English. They have nothing to worry about, because to enter the College of Hotel Service and Tourism (St. Petersburg), the passing score of which we will definitely indicate, passing the Unified State Exam in this foreign language is not necessary. The educational institution has four qualified teachers who can teach students the language from scratch.

As for the Unified State Exam, you only need to take Russian and mathematics. If an applicant wishes to enroll after 9th grade, then he must pass the entrance exams. The minimum passing score in this case is at least 50 for each subject.

It is possible to transfer from another college to this one. In this case, you will need to submit all the necessary documents (you can check with the administration for more information) and, if necessary, pass some exams.

College of Tourism and Hotel Service of St. Petersburg is an “educational institution” with several branches in the city of St. Petersburg. And it is the most disgusting school I know. You can find some details on this page.

Below you can read my reviews about the College of Tourism and Hotel Service of St. Petersburg and get acquainted with my opinion in general. An opinion that you will not be able to get acquainted with either on the KTS or on other Internet resources. You must understand the falsity of most of the so-called good reviews on the official websites of schools, colleges, vocational schools, and universities. You can write such a review in a minute. My review is, first of all, truthful.

I am an uninterested person and I want only one thing - to warn school graduates and their parents from making that mistake, the commission of which can cause them colossal harm. Moreover, I had the opportunity to study there and was able to see a lot from the inside.

I'll start with the main thing:
1. The educational process in this “college”, or rather in the former vocational school No. 55, leaves much to be desired. If you go to this former vocational school for knowledge, then you are doing it in vain. Better find a more acceptable alternative, of which there are plenty in St. Petersburg.
2. The average intellectual and moral level of students within the walls of this institution does not stand up to the slightest criticism. If you are not a stupid herd gopnik, then you will most likely be disgusted to be together with the “students” from this “educational institution” in the same classrooms. Of course, I understand that upon admission they will actively convince you of the opposite, but when you are convinced of the veracity of my words, it may be too late.
3. Entering this eatery on a paid basis is the rarest stupidity.
4. The value of the diploma received, in my opinion, is extremely doubtful. Not every employer will hire a graduate from this former vocational school. Of course it was the ex. After all, it’s enough to change the sign and name and the essence will immediately change. Don't you think so? And you are doing the right thing.
5. The activities of the administration of this college are indescribable.

The branch on Lunacharsky Avenue is especially terrible.

Do not apply for admission or advise your children to go to college for tourism and hotel services. Don't make this huge, terrible mistake. I have every reason for such a review and on this page I told you only a little.

However, if you are a fan of wasting your time and ruining the lives of your children...

If you already have the misfortune of studying there, then remember the following. Never stoop to give so-called “gifts” to any of the college “teachers.” Never, under any circumstances, give money for any graduation events or anything else not related to the educational process. Of course, your best solution would be to transfer to another educational institution.

It would be better if this “college” (former vocational school No. 55 and former Lyceum “Service”) was closed, and the building itself was razed to the ground. This is my humble opinion.

As you can see, I didn’t take up much of your time and attention. I hope my review was useful to you. Think about what I have written.

Of course, you may doubt the information on the page or not attach importance to it. Your business. Everyone has the right to make mistakes. After all, without a doubt, enrolling in this “college” is a mistake. But the errors may be different. This is definitely not a mistake you should make.

And you can face the facts yourself if you are stupid enough to go there or send your children to study.
