Phuket is a hot spot. Review of Nightlife on Bangla Road (Thailand, Phuket) - Patong's Hot Spot. What does a trip to Phuket include?

Advice

The mad printer, inflated in the Russian Federation, ordered this article to be labeled as !!! 18+ !!! . If you are reading this article and you are under 18, close your eyes immediately.

Let the girls do not anathematize me, but this topic, speaking of Thailand, cannot be bypassed in any way, otherwise the picture will be incomplete. SEX IN THAILAND IS, and for every taste.
Here I will not open the Americas. So this page is more for boys than for girls. Although in terms of pleasure for girls in TAE, everything is also in order (I will also tell you).
The first thing to remember when going to Thailand is that there is basically no consensual sex (according to the principle “I like you guy anyway”) between adults in Thailand! There you have to pay for everything. Just like we do.

Comparison of prices for tickets to Bangkok and hotels on different sites

What, where, how and how

Topping the list of Thailand's main brothels are Pattaya, Bangkok and Phuket. And topping this list is Pattaya. As Konstantin Gensh (the author of my favorite travel guide) said, Pattaya is Thailand's top sperm-buck squeezer. He is absolutely right.
walking street- Walking street Pattaya. Here are girls dancing at their GO-GO bars, farangs picking up girls, trances inviting drunk tourists to taverns. There are dozens of GO-GO bars on this street, the main attribute of which is racks with dancing half-naked girls. Each dancer has her own number. Come in, choose, pay and go. You want for an hour, you want - for the night. Moreover, the Thai women working in massage parlors and GO-GO-bars, the language does not dare to call night butterflies. Somehow everything is organic. Therefore, even in the rude Russian tourist slang for Thai girls, a special name appeared - carrots.
The price for girls depends on how you can bargain, and on how much she likes you (this is also an important factor). In popular GO-GO bars, the price usually starts from 3,000 baht per night (this is about 3,000 rubles). However, by bargaining, you can bring down the price. In the off-season, you can bargain for 1500 baht. Carrots from the pub will be much cheaper.
If you take a carrot for an hour, then it will take you to your room. Near most GO-GO bars there are cheap hotels with "short time" rooms.
The price of carrots includes "bar fine"- a kind of compensation for the fact that the bar will lose by letting the girl go with you. For example, staying in a tavern, a carrot could dilute several customers for a drink, and leaving with you, it deprives the bar of possible earnings. They are compensated by the “bar-fine”. Bar fines range from 300 to... 1500 for some super girls. However, the usual "bar-fine" ranges from 500 to 600 baht.
Moreover, in the process of negotiating the price (if it happens in a bar), the carrot will breed you for a drink for her. This is not at all because she wants to drink, she just has ... a certain sales plan for the evening, and she must fulfill this plan. For example, for the evening, each carrot in the GOGO bar must sell 5 or 6 drinks to customers. And if she did not fulfill this plan, then the missing value will be deducted from the girl from her daily earnings. So after you buy carrot booze, the likelihood that she will agree to spend the evening with you increases. In addition, each carrot in the bar has another plan: it must serve a certain number of customers in a month. The average is six or eight people.
Well, if something embarrassed you during the negotiation process, then in every bar there is an older one and you can always turn to her - this is mamasan. Mamasan, as a rule, manages the girls, encourages clients to drink and maintains the microclimate of the team (wow!!!). A good mamasan is worth its weight in gold. Indeed, otherwise the bar may lose girls, customers, and income.
Also, in order to avoid trouble, before bringing a carrot to a hotel room, it is desirable to look at her ID-card. All adult Thai citizens, including carrots, are required to carry an identity card with them. This card is the size of a credit card. Such laminated crap with a photo of a girl, her name, date and place of birth.
If the carrot does not have an ID card, then it is possible that it is a minor (and this is a prison), or is a citizen of Laos or Cambodia, and most likely is illegal in Thailand. Happen something, and look for her fistulas ...
Most GOGO bars don't have their own rooms. So if you rent a "carrot" for a short time, then you will have to take it to your room or "short time hotel" and pay extra for the room. Usually, carrots themselves know where the nearest hotels are located, which rent rooms for an hour and a half.

Main brothels in Bangkok

Among the most promoted cereal areas of the BKK are Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza and Patpong.
soi cowboy- a small street running parallel to Sukumvit Road. Located between Asok Rd and Soi 23. If you get on the BTS (sky train), then get off at Sukhumvit Station or Asok.
Nana- Another of the most famous entertainment complexes in Bangkok. The building was built in the form of a three-story square-well. Nana is located on Sukhumvit Soi 4. Now there are about 40 bars in Nana and around it. There are also "short time hotels" on the top floor. Nana Plaza is within walking distance of SkyTrain (skytrain) Nana Station. From the old city, that is, the historical center and from Khaosan, it is better to get here by taxi.
Patpong District includes several streets - Soi 1, Soi 2 and Soi Tanya and has more than 100 bars. After sunset, the sidewalk along the north side of Silom Street and Patpong 1 (Soi 1) turns into a clothing and junk market. Most GO-GO bars are located on the 1st floor. The second floor is the halls where they show pussy shows and numbers ...

Throw to the north
The sex industry also operates on the islands of Thailand and in its north. So the most popular bars in chiang mai, where you can pick a carrot, are concentrated around the central square, between Tha Phae Road and Loi Kro Road. This area and the streets nearby are called night market. The surroundings of the Chieng Mai Night Bazaar are filled with taverns, bars and massage parlors. "Star XIX" located on Loi Kroh street. Halfway to the night bazaar on the right side of the road. At night, you can see pussy shows here, just like in the bars on the second floor in Patpong. 100 baht can be requested for entry, but this includes a drink.

aquarium girls
concept "Thai massage" known all over the world. A real Thai massage is an extremely useful thing, he was convinced on his very first visit to Thailand. However, when you go to a massage parlor, do not confuse traditional massage with all other options, such as “oil massage”, “aroma massage”, “oil massage”, etc. All sorts of “oils” and “oils” are a scam for sex. First, the masseuse will undress you, smear you with oil; to clear his conscience, he will poke his fist in the ribs a couple of times, and then offer “boom-boom”. “Boom-boom” really will have to be paid to the masseuse at a separate rate (on average 2000 baht). As a result, officially for a massage - 450 baht, for a masseuse for a "boom-boom" - 2000 baht. Moreover, this rule is typical for almost all Thai massage parlors. In short, if you ordered a non-traditional thai massage, then you came for something else ...
Probably the only place where you will not be offered to get laid is Wat Pho Monastery in Bangkok. There only traditional massage. This is the oldest school of Thai massage and the most authoritative. There "boom-boom" no boom no boom.
Another type of sexual services - body massage(body massage), also called soap massage. Body massage is done only in certain salons. Body massage parlors are scattered throughout Bangkok. There are five of them in Pattaya. Finding a salon is not difficult, just tell the taxi driver "wee-wee massage." Many of the Thai taxi drivers do not understand the word "body". Prices for a body massage session range from 1600 to 4000 baht. Moreover, the collapse of prices has nothing to do with the quality of services. The average cost of a session is 2500 baht. The session lasts an hour and a half.
The central hall of the body massage salon is a kind of aquarium. Behind the glass, as in an aquarium, dozens of carrots are sitting. Any girl can be chosen. Each has a number pinned to the chest. And, interestingly, the manager of the establishment most often does not allow to come close to the glass and look at the girls.
Having chosen the carrot you like, you go to the room with a bath. Here you will be washed, covered with foam and ... massaged with your naked body. That, in fact, is the whole massage. Further continuation - at the request of the client. Everything, as they say, is included.
Body massage parlors can be found in BKK on Sukhumvit street. So in the Sukhumvit area between the “second” and “fourth” jays (lanes) there are a bunch of taverns, pubs, GO-GO bars and Annie's massage parlor. Immediately on Sukhumvit, Soi 12 - Darling Massage salon. There is a saloon at the back of the yard on the right, a very decent saloon, one of the most respectable in Bangkok, and there can be 30 carrots in the aquarium at the same time.
Another area where there are many body massage parlors in BKK is Pechburi street.
The most popular body massage parlors in Pattaya are in the northern part of the city - Sabai Land(102/1 Soi 3 Pattaya 2nd Road), Sabai Dee(435/52 Moo 9 Pattaya 2nd Road). The most promoted and one of the most expensive body massage parlors in PTT - Sabai Room. Another, less well-known body massage salon "PP Massage" is located between 3rd road and Soi Buakow. The price of pleasure is 2400 baht per session (i.e. for an hour and a half).

Miracles below the belt
Pussy show. Another attraction for tourists. On a small stage, Thais show what can be done with what is between their legs. And with this very place, they not only open bottles, but also shoot, etc. In short, you can see. Cool. The circus is the circus. Many people ask how to watch a pussy show, bypassing intermediaries who stick to Wilkin (Pattaya), and invite them to watch universal girls. As a result, at the entrance to the hall, you unfasten barkers from 100 to 200 baht. In fact, many pussie shows are free to enter if you show up on your own, and the price for the show is the booze you order. So many barkers on Wilkin invite to Pusi-show "Fantasy", which is located right next to the hyped GO GO-bar Angelwitch (pictured). If you stand facing the entrance to the Angelwitch, then "Fantasy" will be on your right hand, in the depths, under the arch. Come in, look, drink. Yes, and more. At the entrance to the "Fantasy" a barker may also jump up to you. We faced it. Some cunning weirdo, who, according to Vilkin, is reluctant to hang out, took and settled down at the entrance. He sees - people go without an intermediary, and he is right there: like I brought. You tactfully send him off - and into the hall.
In addition to miracles "below the belt", you can see several numbers with shemales on the pussy show. There is no vulgarity there, but it is still better not to take children there. Here: a spectacular fire show, beautiful costume dances of transvestites and live advertising of local carrots.

Girls love it too
As I said at the very beginning, the other half of humanity is not forgotten in Tai, alas, not traditional. The most famous in Bangkok pubs for lesbians"Shell", "Zeta" ("Zeta") and "Lesla" ("Lesla"). Shella, Zeta (29 Royal City Avenue) is open daily, while Lesla is open on Saturday and Sunday evenings. "Shela" located next to Lumpini Park. Lesla Sukhumvit Soi 55 (Soi Tonglor). Here is the biggest lesbian party (boys not allowed). The entrance fee is about 150 baht.

Fucking perverts!
And now what everyone prefers to keep silent about - blowjob bars. As the name suggests, "blowjob bars" specialize in blowjobs (slang for blowjobs). Some of these bars have bar counters below which are curtained with holes cut into them. You sit, drink, and at this time the girl behind the counter provides you with these same services. However, not all bars have curtains like this. In some, everything happens right in a conspicuous place. If this is too cool for you, then you can ask to be taken to a room next door. They are usually free. Fee per session from 500 baht.

Finally, as I promised, I begin a series of posts about our trip to the Kingdom of Thailand. It was our first trip to Asia. And if we take into account the fact that the last trip to Istanbul was a kind of transitional bridge between Europe and Asia, then this trip became a completely logical continuation of acquaintance with Asia.

Now, after a few weeks, I can say that I really miss this wonderful and hospitable country and would like to be there again, and maybe live for a while. There are surprisingly positive and smiling people, very friendly, you feel confident and at ease with them. I cannot remember a single unpleasant moment in dealing with the Thais, a case, say, of deceit or some kind of coldness. And that nice “wai” thanksgiving gesture of theirs, when the palms are put together in front of the chest and all this is accompanied by a bow. Now, if only our cafes thanked visitors in the same way! Dreams Dreams.

And I'll start with a story about Phuket.

01. We go by Aeroexpress to the airport. Still not tanned, not rested, but we are already looking forward to a lot of interesting things ahead!

02. I wrote about buying these covers. There was an opportunity to "walk" them.

03. We flew at night, on this Boeing. I can say that flying in the nose is much more comfortable than in the tail. You hardly feel any turbulence. The only unpleasant moment is when those sitting in front, having much more space in front, also lean back and infringe on your already cramped space. This is what I never understood and never will.

04. Arrived at Phuket airport. Several planes with our fellow citizens arrived with us at the same time, so one can imagine that the hype at passport control was not frail. Plus, if we take into account the slowness of the Thai customs officers and the time spent filling out the migration card (Russians do not need a visa to Thailand), as well as the sleepless night and the Thai heat, then we had a fun time, which is already there!

05. Finally got to the hotel. This is the pool view from the room.

06. This way you can better see the mountain on which the statue of the Big Buddha is installed (more on this later).

07. View of the room (sorry for the unmade bed). The deluxe room (not khukhry muhry) had everything you needed: air conditioning, safe, kettle, water, refrigerator, even a TV with 3 Russian channels.

08.

09. This photo was taken on one of the days when the New Year was celebrated in Thailand, and a gala dinner was being prepared downstairs. In general, I must say, there was no animation at the hotel. We have never swum in this pool (and why, if the sea is nearby?). Once we went down for dinner (we only had breakfast included), ordered a fish for ourselves, quite tolerable, but nothing more.

10. The road we went to the beach every time. The photo does not show a steep descent, but the road really goes down sharply, so climbing up afterwards was not an easy task.

11. The main entrance to our hotel Peach Hill Resort. The hotel is quite a good one, a good 4-ka. Breakfast, however, was rather poor, but did not remain hungry. Most of all at breakfast, my husband and I fell in love with local milk. It is tastier and sweeter than ours (apparently because of the Dutch cows that were once brought here). The hotel was really located on a hill. There is a minibus "Natalie Tours" below, we took a ticket from them.

12. Near the entrance to the hotel, as well as near many houses in Thailand, there is the House of Spirits, where Thais bring food, drink, flowers and ask the spirits for all sorts of benefits and indulgence.

13. We go to Kata beach, near which our hotel was located.

Here I would like to make a small lyrical digression and tell you a little about Phuket.

Phuket is a small island that is attached to the mainland with one part. The province is also called (the whole of Thailand is divided into them). And unlike mainland Pattaya, where vacations may be cheaper, Phuket is cleaner, with less crowded beaches and a much more comfortable stay. Phuket is washed by the waters of the Andaman Sea, which, in turn, flows into the Indian Ocean. It is a very green island, hilly.

I dare to give advice on choosing a hotel: it is better to choose a hotel based on the beach. The fact is that there are several beaches in Phuket, all of them are public, but differ from each other. Actually, if you look at the map, then all the beaches are located on one side and follow each other from north to south. First comes the largest beach, Patong. This is the most popular place, and, accordingly, the least clean. There are a huge number of bars, restaurants, nightclubs, large shopping centers. There is life there. The cost of living in hotels located in Patong is cheap compared to other beaches. Therefore, if you are more interested in an active party pastime, and comfort is not very important, then you are here.

Behind Patong Beach is Karon Beach. This beach has two main features: it has a characteristic crisp sand of coral origin and sometimes quite dangerous underwater currents. The beach is much cleaner than Patong, and, probably, it is chosen more often than all other beaches.

Karon is followed by Kata Beach, where we actually rested. It is smaller than Patong and Karon, but thus cozier and quieter. It is easy to recognize by the picturesque island called "Pu" (crab - in Thai). Behind Kata Beach is Kata Noi (“noi” means small in Thai). It is really quite small, and, according to some reports, rather boring in terms of infrastructure. Thus, our Kata beach seemed to me the most optimal, and I did not regret for a second that we chose it. Although in fact, the choice of the beach is conditional: they are all located close to each other (the exception, perhaps, is Patong).

14. Kata Beach with the island of Pu.

15. I was pleasantly surprised by the color of the water, because Before, I rested mainly on the Mediterranean Sea, and there the color of the water is completely different. The water was very warm, no wonder, because the air temperature was 32-33 degrees, there was a feeling of a sauna, and the heat was easier to bear near the water.

16. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are paid. 100 baht for one sunbed (1 baht - about 1 ruble). The beach is quite clean, it was clear that it was being cleaned.

17. This island only added picturesqueness and created a feeling of comfort.

18.

19. As I wrote, there was no animation in the hotel, in fact, on the beach too. We saw jet skis that went down to the water, but the prices for them were somehow exorbitant, and people, in my opinion, did not rent them. The sea is the best entertainment!

20. One day we decided to go to the famous Patong Beach, and at the same time see the famous Bangla Road, where the most haunted places of Phuket are located. I didn't see anything so bad on her. No flamboyant transvestites, no magical "potion" offered from every corner. Boredom, in a word. True, knowledgeable people said that it was necessary to come here in the evening, then everyone would have seen it.

21. Bright design of buildings.

22. A poster about the celebration of the Thai New Year - Songkran, when, according to tradition, everyone pours water on each other. We celebrated this holiday on Pi-Pi-Don in the best traditions of the genre, but more on that later.

23. During the day, everything does not look as bright and mysterious as in the evening. In addition, extreme heat and humidity forced them to seek shelter with air conditioning.

24. Like, for example, in this shopping center. Wires and methods of their fastening are an invariable attribute of Asian flavor.

25. A little decoration of the territory of our hotel. Lots of trees from mangoes to exotic palms.

26. In the morning, we were awakened by the amazing trills of local birds and the chirping of either cicadas or some other insects. This concert will remain in my memory for a long time.

27.

28. Next to a massage parlor, whose services we never used (massages were much cheaper in the city!).

29. Small pond next to the bungalow. We lived in the main building (upper). And there were also bungalows and the lower building.

30. Bright colors, an abundance of flowers, a variety of vegetation - all this is about Thailand.

31.

32. Another House of Spirits, this time, at the lower building of our hotel.

33. I wish I knew all the names of flowers ...

34. Went down to our street. Everything is simple, colorful: cafes, shops, massage parlors, souvenir shops, currency exchange offices and travel agencies - that's actually all that we came across on the streets.

35. On the left in the photo is a currency exchange office, where we changed our hard-earned money. We were warned in the agency, and not only that it is better to take dollars to Thailand and then change them to local baht. In addition, it is better to take large denominations of 50 or more dollars, then for some reason the exchange rate will be more profitable. All Thai money depicts the current King of Thailand - Rama IX, revered in Thailand almost like a saint.

Now a little about the ways of moving around the island. Phuket is a small island (only 50 km from north to south and about 21 km from west to east). The main and cheapest means of transportation there, as well as throughout Thailand, is a motorbike. It can be rented for an average of 2,000 baht per week and travel around the entire island. There are many cars, mostly Japanese, and they are more often used in the tourist business. Pickup trucks are popular, in which several people are loaded at once for the convenience of their transportation. There is no such thing as public transport. We saw rare buses, but it was not clear how they run, where the stops are, etc. For us, who did not have a license, the only way to get around was a regular taxi or local Thai "tuk-tuk". I’ll make a reservation right away that we didn’t even consider renting a motorbike, despite the fact that some companies turn a blind eye to the lack of rights and just rent them out. In addition, the guides on the bus upon arrival told all sorts of horror stories about crazy reckless Thais, about their unpredictability on the road, and in every possible way dissuaded even those who know how to drive and who have rights. Therefore, we did not want to tempt fate, especially in a foreign country. In addition, we were told that in Thailand, if, say, an accident involving a Thai occurred and not through your fault, the police will still punish and fine you. This is such discrimination. You understand that after all this, somehow you didn’t want to get on the bike.

As for the prices for taxis and tuk-tuks. I must say right away that almost all prices in Phuket, in principle, seemed overpriced to us. Moreover, in the past years, according to the stories of tourists, everything was much cheaper in Tai. Bargaining is appropriate, but the same owners of a local taxi (tuk-tuk) did not want to bargain at all and stubbornly insisted on their price. Say, from Kata Beach to Patong they asked for 400 baht. And it was about 15 minutes to go on the strength. So for that kind of money you don’t really roll. Especially in the heat and without air conditioning, albeit in an open body. The reason for this is the local mafia, which keeps prices and does not want to lower them. Farangi (that's what they call us whites) and so they will go! Taxis with air conditioning, by the way, are not much more expensive: 400 - 500 baht, how to bargain. In general, it's cheaper to walk;)

36.

37.

38.

39. Public transport - a bus that ran on an incomprehensible schedule and with incomprehensible stops.

40. Tanya saw a cat in a souvenir shop. And envied him.

41. Massage parlors. Massage in Thailand is cheap, we paid a maximum of 400 baht (per hour), and you could choose either separate legs, or the whole body (for example, Thai massage), or head and shoulders, etc. In all the salons (and we were in different ones each time), we really liked the massage, the Thais always treated us kindly, they always offered something at the end: water or tea. After a whole day of righteous labor of relaxation, what could be better than giving your precious limbs to the dexterous and strong hands of local masseurs, and even in cool salons? I miss it so much right now!

42. Actually, the order of prices is visible on the right. Prices from 300 to 650 baht. These prices were everywhere. At the bottom left - an aquarium with fish, where you could put your feet down and get an original pedicure. To be honest, I haven't tried it.

43. One day we found an interesting cafe, and often looked in for grilled fish. The fish is the freshest, you choose it yourself, and then they cook it for you. A whole fish cost 300 baht. And it could well be enough for two.

44. Inside the restaurant. Everything is simple, but colorful.

45. Portraits of the royal family hung on one wall, by the way, there is an opinion or even statistics that houses in which portraits of the royal family hang are robbed less;)

46. And the right wall is completely hung with money of various years of issue and countries. They were quite outlandish or old. And many banknotes with a dedicatory inscription to the owners of the restaurant.

47.

48. There were also old Belarusian "bunnies". I just nailed it :)

49. Who remembers bison?

50. Remember the old Russian rubles?

51. They brought us such a fish.

52. Some more local landscapes.

53. Another restaurant. Almost everywhere they cooked delicious, we mainly ordered fish and seafood, served very quickly. Tips are welcome! True, our guide said that leaving a change as a tip is not decent. Like, the Thais, of course, will take it, but it is better to leave from 50 baht and above.

54. In one of the souvenir shops. I really liked the cat with a fishing rod.

55.

56. And this was our very first cafe in Phuket. We came here for the first time, and then we dined here on the last day before leaving.

57. Coconut shake. Delicious! Grinded coconut flakes with coconut milk and ice. In the heat - that's it!

58. The photos were taken on different days (the tablecloths are different;)), but I almost always ordered a coconut shake! 80 baht was worth this pleasure.

59. Lobster with garlic and garlic bread. We ordered one for two, because the cost of it bit. For example, in Cuba we paid about $10 for a lobster, but here it cost us about 1,500 baht.

60. Traditional Thai soup Tom Yum on coconut milk with shrimp, vegetables and spices. If you ask for no spicy, they will bring not very spicy.

61. Another variation of Tom Yam, but already on the broth.

62. Baked bread with tuna meat. Served with spicy sauce. (The sauce isn't spicy, or do I come from the Fireworm tribe?)

63. Squid with garlic. Husband said it was rubber.

64. Rice with vegetables and egg. Also one of the traditional Thai dishes. I did not like. Maybe because of the presence of onions (I don't like them).

65. And this is Thai paradise for me! Fruits! We tried almost everything, probably with the exception of the famous durian. We did not dare to try it (in the photo it is yellow and white in the package next to the pomelo). There will be a reason to return! ;)

66. For me, the number 1 fruit in Thailand is the mango. I tried it for the first time (in the photo below, yellow and green). It turns out that there are different varieties of mangoes! The green fruit seemed to me at first sweeter and juicier, but then I chose soft yellow fruits, already well ripened, and they seemed to me just incredibly tasty! I also liked the mangosteen (they are at the bottom next to the green mango like cream). Under the hard burgundy peel are white slices with a sweet taste. One of the most expensive fruits and very useful! Pomelo also pleasantly surprised us. In Thailand, they are huge, green, incredibly juicy and sweet. Watermelons are also good, we also tried dragon fruit (pitaya) - it is crimson in color, the pulp contains many black seeds. The taste is unsaturated, slightly sweet, but this fruit stimulates blood circulation and is useful for diseases of the cardiovascular system. I'm not talking about such exotic fruits as longan, herring, chompoo, carambola... The list can be long :) Almost all fruits are tasty and healthy. If there is no allergy, then in moderation you can try everything!

67. And we called this restaurant "Paphos" among ourselves :) It really looked more like a palace, both inside and out. At first they did not dare to visit there, but then they still went. Not a dump head, but quite edible.

68. It was Kostya who ordered the crab. There is little, but the meat was tender.

69. There was a Starbucks near Paphos. And although I told myself that I would not succumb to the pernicious influence of the West to drink coffee in Tae, but one day I still could not stand it. I ordered a caramel macchiato. And flew away... I have never drunk such delicious coffee anywhere! Either their milk is so delicious, rich, or they don’t save on ingredients, but when we returned to Moscow and decided to drink macchiato at the local Starbucks, we were very disappointed with both the price and the quality of the drink. It wasn't around! And desserts seemed more interesting to me. That's it, I want-I can't go to Thailand again!

70. Rate the size! Okay, we took such a mug for two!

71. On one of the last days of my stay in Phuket, I decided to shoot the sunset, I brought my camera specially. By the way, we went to the beach either before 12 noon or after 16.00, because. at other times it was simply impossible to be there. Even in the shade you burn. Although I was actively smeared, I still burned notably in the first days, then they saved themselves with an ointment with aloe vera. By the way, great stuff!

72. This is not a pineapple! These are the fruits of the walking tree, the fruits of which animals feed on.

73. Walking tree. Over time, the tree grows "legs" and it can move.

74. Our beach.

75.

76. Someone decided to fly. There is little pleasure, because you fly just a couple of minutes and with an instructor.

77.

78. The sunset began.

79. We were told that swimming in the evening is quite dangerous. There is an unspoken law: day is for people, night is for animals, etc. Poisonous animals, fish or snakes wake up at night, so it's better not to risk it. One way or another, for all the time I have not met a snake or a spider in Thailand. Lizards don't count.

80.

81.

82.

83. The sun sets quickly. It gets dark at seven o'clock. Thais walk along the beach, renting sun loungers and closing umbrellas.

84.

85. Now, looking at this photo, I can’t believe that all this happened to us!

The first thing to say about these beer establishments is that they go there not so much to drink beer as to meet local girls. The girls working in these bars are never against such acquaintances, and at least they will not refuse to drink beer with foreigners, at their expense, of course.

It is worth noting that these inhabitants of the beer-bars, as a rule, speak English tolerably, and since they are young, spontaneous, curious and often quite beautiful, even a simple conversation with them can easily dispel an occasional boredom.

In the event that your interest in girls extends beyond just talking, such a development of events will not surprise the girl you like, and everything that happens next will depend solely on you. You can invite a girl to a restaurant or a disco, and generally play love. Or you can just explain to the girl in plain text what exactly you want from her. At the same time, the girl’s desires expressed by you are definitely not shocking, if only for the reason that these girls have seen a lot in their lives, and with a high degree of probability, they have seen much more than you.

If you choose the second option for the development of events, the question of money will naturally arise. There is no general rule here, however, if you do not want to tire the girl with your presence for a long time, the amount will spin around 1000-1500 baht. And if you want to spend the whole night with a girl, then the figure will be from 2000 to 3000 baht.

In the case of the first option, there may not be a conversation about money, however, it does not at all follow from this that a girl can not be given money at all. It must be well understood that girls sit in bars not at all in order to kill time, but in order to earn a living. And the financial side of the relationship with them should be taken seriously, because in a rage, Thai girls can cause a lot of trouble. And it's not a joke. In any case, these troubles, in the form of a scratched face and the likely appearance of the police, will be much more serious than the disputed amount of 1000/2000 baht.

But what about sex for love, you ask, after reading what was written above.

It is quite possible if you can impress a local girl strong enough so that she, at least for a while, forgets about money. And, besides this, openly explain to her that you are not going to give money. And explain it to her before, not after.

What is written here may seem excessively cynical, but in fact, it is not so difficult, when talking with a girl, to find suitable and decent words in order to unobtrusively dot the money issue.

It is worth noting that for many European tourists, the promotion of local girls for free sex is something of a sport. The author of these lines repeatedly had to observe the Anglo-Saxons, bypassing the ranks of girls with phrases like “I’m poor student, blah-blah-blah”, and, characteristically, with a positive result. However, this sport also has its downsides. If a girl is good-looking, she will gladly laugh at such a joke, exchange a couple of phrases with a poor student, and remain sitting in a bar, waiting for a richer student to appear on the horizon. And the one whose external data is not impressive, and to which neither rich nor poor, will agree to such a proposal, will agree to such a proposal.

Concluding this topic, one cannot fail to say that communication with Thai girls, despite the fact that they are children of a completely different civilization and frankly want to extract money from you, is not much different from communication with girls in the vast expanses of our Motherland. Such is the paradox.

Common terminology and practice. Slang, overhead and taking girls to hotels.

If you intend to translate communication with local girls into a practical plane, it's good to have some idea of the terminology established in their circle and, in general, about the technical side of this whole entertainment process. First, there are a few words and phrases that you will probably hear, and the meaning of which is worth understanding:

short time- this term means that you are not going to take away from the girl more than 2 hours of her precious time.

long time- means that you are going to invite a girl for the whole night.

Bar Fine- girls work in the state of bars, and you can’t just take them away from there; you need to pay the owners of the bar compensation, at least 500 baht.

Mamasan(less often - Papasan) - the owner (owner) of the bar and at the same time the manager of the girls; it is mamasan who demands bar fine from you, and at the same time, makes you buy beer or cola at a price that you will not like.

Guest Fee– not only girls and bars want your money; many hotels also require money for allowing a girl to be taken to the room; usually this amount revolves around 500 baht.

Another interesting question that cannot be ignored concerns the wire of the girls to the hotel. As a rule, Thai hotels are guest-friendly, exceptions to this rule are extremely rare, and apply only to especially expensive and especially respectable hotels. It is worth noting that if the hotel does not want guests to drive girls, this will be reported in such a way that it will not be possible to miss this information. For example, a poster with relevant content will be pasted on the door of your room.

As mentioned above, many (but not all) Thai hotels practice charging an additional fee for taking girls to the room, usually the amount is from 500 baht. If you fly to Thailand on a tour package, then with a probability of 90% you can expect that your hotel will be one of them. If you book a hotel on your own, then it is not so difficult to choose a hotel where girls can be taken for free. For example, to settle in those of the apartments where the reception works only during the day, and in the evenings there is no one to take money from the guests.

In the same case, if you have reasons why you do not want to take the girl to your room (for example, you suspect that your wife is hiding there with a rolling pin), nothing will prevent you from resolving the issue with the hotel on the spot. In the Bangla Road area there are countless hotels with prices of 800 - 1000 baht per night, and all of these hotels are well known to girls. So you don’t even have to puzzle over this problem: entrust the choice of a hotel to a girl, and she will cope with this task normally.

Possible adverse effects. Funny diseases and crime.

The pleasant, cheerful and life-affirming side of this case was mentioned above, now it's time to talk about the less pleasant side of the issue, about the possible medical and criminal consequences, the probability of which is not equal to zero.

The fact that you should always use a condom, probably, you can not write here, but what you should definitely write about is that a condom does not at all protect 100% from unpleasant consequences.

And in order to minimize the likelihood of such consequences, you need to understand that all these funny diseases are not only medical, but also social in nature. In practice, this obvious fact is expressed in the fact that the probability of catching an infection from a girl working in an expensive and decent, by Thai standards, institution is quite small. But in the case of a lady working on the street, in some dirty alley, it is very large.

Criminal hardcore, in the form of clonidine, poured into beer, is typical, perhaps, only for Pattaya. In Patong, one of the troubles of this kind can be expected, perhaps, an unforeseen loss of material values, mystically associated with a visit by a girl to your room. As always happens in such cases, both sides are involved in the disappearance of money, mobile phones and laptops. The owners of material values, stunned by the meeting with another civilization, often do not realize the obvious and banal things. For example, that one should not test the honesty of girls with a bundle of dollars thrown to the mercy of fate in a desk drawer. And the girls? What is the demand from them? Even ministers and deputies can easily covet ownerless material values.

In fact, the likelihood of petty, and not very, theft is not so great, since a girl can go into all serious trouble only if she is 100% sure that she will not be found later. And if you met a girl in a bar where she works, finding her is as easy as shelling pears, as if she left a copy of her documents at the hotel reception, such a copy is always made when paying a guest fee (a fee charged by the hotel for seeing a local girl to the room).

From what has been said above, one very simple and obvious conclusion can be drawn: do not chase cheapness. Girls working in Bangla Road establishments want to get not so stunning, by European standards, money, and trying to find cheaper options somewhere on the street can easily turn into both medical and criminal consequences.

Transvestites, they are katoi, they are ladyboys. How to distinguish a trance from a straight woman.

This topic cannot be ignored, since the entire Internet is full of funny (and not so) stories about encounters with these strange creatures. Reading these stories, it is not always possible to understand how their authors managed to get into such an anecdotal and often unpleasant situation.

The main reason for such adventures, however, lies on the surface and lies in the fact that at the time of their adventures, the authors of all these countless stories were, to put it mildly, drunk.

Otherwise, they would never have confused a boy with a girl, since no plastic surgery can turn a plowman, hunter and lumberjack into an elegant and defenseless creature, with a small, half the size of a man's hand, and an equally small and graceful leg.

The physiological differences between trances and natural girls have probably been listed a thousand times already, but what has been written about quite rarely is that it is very easy to distinguish a trance (katoya) from a real girl by her behavior.

This difference in behavior lies in the fact that transvestites do not have innate female grace, and they play this grace the way actors play on stage. And since acting is a rare thing, they play lousy, constantly overact, look vulgar and overly cheeky, and flaws in their mimicry appear in absolutely everything, and in the manner of speaking, and in the manner of dressing, and in the manner of walking, and in the style of their makeup, etc., etc., etc.

In general, on a sober head, it is not the slightest difficulty to distinguish a trance from a straight woman. However, if you take 3 liters of beer on your chest, and put 700 grams of vodka on top, then the line between a boy and a girl can really become very unsteady, and those stories can happen that most people prefer not to tell about later.

P.S. In the event that you are not sure who is in front of you, trans or straight, pay attention, in addition to demeanor, to height, shoe size and palm size, those physiological data that cannot be corrected with plastic surgery. And if your potential chosen one is not inferior to you in height, behaves excessively cheeky and wears shoes of size 44, think about how joyful further communication with her will be for you;)

Other Entertainment Bangla Road. Discos, go-go bars and massage parlors.

Discos. There are almost a dozen of them in the Bangla Road area, all of them are located in a prominent place, and these establishments are definitely worth a visit.

These discos are decorated not without tricks, the acoustics are expensive everywhere, the sound, as a result, is clear and powerful, the music is mostly in the spirit of MTV. These establishments open at 9 - 10 pm, but the influx of the public in them usually happens closer to midnight.

Discotheques in Patong are not very suitable for dating Thai girls, at least dating in a discotheque is not mainstream for Patong.

Local girls, however, are present at discos, and are clearly divided into two categories: bar-girls, who spent the whole evening in their bar to no avail, and went on to further search for a source of wealth, and ordinary Thais who came to Phuket on vacation , and those who came to the disco just relax and have fun. It is not always possible to distinguish the former from the latter, even with an experienced eye, and it is this fact that complicates acquaintance with local girls, since communication with amateurs and professionals requires both a different approach and a different vocabulary.

However, as a place for dating, Patong discos have a plus of a slightly different property. These places are great for meeting fellow Thais, just in case the Thai girls didn't impress you enough. There are a lot of compatriots in Phuket, they all go to discos with pleasure, so there are always a lot of options for this kind of dating.

Go-go bars. There is not much to write about these establishments. Those go-go bars that are located on Bangla Road are an unfortunate parody of Pattaya establishments, and if you pass by them, then you will lose absolutely nothing in your life.

Massage parlors. In Patong, there is one salon of the same Thai massage. This establishment is called Christin Massage, and is a huge pink building located on Second Road (Thanon Ratuthit Songroipi Road), south of its intersection with Bangla Road.

It should be noted that the golden years of Thai (not wellness) massage are long gone, and at the moment Thailand is too rich and prosperous country for young and beautiful girls to agree to work in establishments like Christin Massage, which is essentially a job. on the sex line. In practice, the above is expressed in the fact that the ladies working in Christin Massage are frankly not young, and many of them are at such a venerable age that it is just right for them to nurse their grandchildren.

P.S. What was written above was relevant even ten years ago, and since there was no staff rotation in Christin Massage, today we can state that local prostitutes have broken all records of professional longevity.

Pictures of Bangla Road nightlife

To understand the attitude of Thais towards the behavior of girls who do not deny themselves the small joys of life, it is worth making a short historical digression.

To begin with, it is worth saying that Thai society has never known taboos and prohibitions on sexual activity, the very taboos that are so characteristic of Abrahamic religions.

The local religion, unlike the religions dominating in Europe, has always been liberal, tolerant and sympathetic to all aspects of human nature.

And the relationship of the sexes in Thailand has always been regulated by the most general religious and ethical principle, namely: no matter what a person does, his actions should not harm other people.

And since the relationship between girls and their, as they are now called, boyfriends, has always suited both sides, neither society, nor family, nor state and religious structures have ever interfered in these relations.

It is worth adding that Thailand has bypassed both the dubious views of medieval Europe, which revered virginity with amazing zeal, and the ideas of European totalitarianism of the 20th century, which sought to control a person’s actions, including through control of his sexuality.

The same worldview ideas that have been formed within Thai society itself are best conveyed by two very famous Thai words: “sanuk” and “sabai”. Without going into the intricacies of translation, the meaning of these words can be explained as follows: the sun is shining - sanuk, a beautiful girl is sitting nearby - sabai, good music is playing - sanuk, cold beer is flowing like a river - sabai, and so on, the list can be continued indefinitely.

In practice, the love of Thais for sanuk and sabai has led to the fact that they have learned to masterfully derive pleasure from the current moment of life, and their liberal view of the world has led to the fact that they do not interfere with enjoying life for others, and never climb into someone else's life if no one asks them to.

How everything that happens on Bangla Road looks in the eyes of the girls working there

The girls look at their work is simple and unpretentious. Sitting in the bars of Bangla Road, they are, paradoxically, looking for their happiness.

What constitutes, in their understanding, happiness, it will not be possible to explain in a couple of paragraphs, but it is easy to explain what, in their view, is not happiness.

Firstly, it is not happiness for them to work in a 7/11 store with a salary of 8-10 thousand baht per month. Secondly, and maybe even firstly, happiness for them is not working in the rice field, in their native province of Isan, a job in which at 30 years old you can become an old woman, and at 40 years old you can go on a date with the Buddha .

In general, speaking bluntly, girls treat their work the way they treat any other, fairly well-paid job, which has its pluses and minuses.

These disadvantages are quite obvious, but it is worth mentioning the advantages especially, since they will surely surprise many readers of this text. These pluses are not so much that you can receive generous tips and live in a resort without any special worries, but that you can most likely find yourself a rich husband in this job. And it's not a joke.

Married couples consisting of a Thai and a foreigner (usually a European) are not uncommon in Thailand, and to understand the scale of this phenomenon, it is enough to say that in the province of Isan alone, more than 100,000 foreigners are registered on family visas (read - non-poor Europeans) .

So, the story of the famous film "Pretty Woman", with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in the lead roles, for the girls sitting in the bars of Bangla Road, is not a fairy tale at all. For them, this is a very real prospect for the development of events, especially if the girl is moderately smart, not absurd, and beautiful enough to arouse the interest of wealthy European playboys.

How good is the nightlife of Patong compared to the nightlife of Bangkok and Pattaya

Both as a center for nightlife and as a center for sex tourism, Patong has never claimed the top spot in Thailand.

To tell the truth, in the case of Patong, this third place could never really be considered a prize, because against the background of Bangkok and Pattaya, Patong always looked like nothing more than a second league.

And this applied to all aspects of nightlife: the number, size and variety of places of entertainment; the number and appearance of local girls; and absolutely everything else.

So, the nightlife of Patong made a really strong impression on tourists only in one case, if they had not yet seen the nightlife of Bangkok and Pattaya.

The above was true even many years ago, in the best years for Patong, which, sadly, are long gone. At the moment, the nightlife in Patong is half empty, and this is not due to the decline or collapse of the Thai entertainment industry, but to the fact that in recent years the contingent of people who come to Phuket has changed a lot.

Young, active, and adventurous people now bypass Phuket, and are visited mainly by couples over the age of 40 who come to Phuket on tourist packages. This public is not inclined to participate in nightlife, and if it appears on Bangla Road, it is only to look at everything that happens from the side, as they look at the life of animals in the zoo from the side.

As a result, the girls who worked in the bars of Bangla Road, Patong are leaving, the bars themselves are half empty, and at the moment (season 2019) Patong, unlike Bangkok and Pattaya, is already difficult to recommend as a place that is the standard of nightlife.

All nightlife in one place, located in the center of Patong

disadvantages

Intrusive barkers and sellers, noisy, drinks in bars are more expensive

Details

Usually in tourist countries, each area is trying to offer something of its own in order to lure tourists to itself, but not in Thailand. Of course, we can say that continental and island holidays here are somewhat different (although it depends on the tourist himself and his goals of staying in the country of smiles, elephants and transvestites), but, in Phuket, for example, everything is offered the same as in the continental part: they made their own elephant and crocodile and snake farms, their own botanical garden (a smaller version of Nong Nooch), their transvestite shows and so on. Since Patong is a small Pattaya, it is logical to assume that Bangla Road is a small Walking Street. In general, everything is really the same, especially for foreigners, but a little simpler and smaller in size.

During the day, Bangla is an ordinary street past which a regular bus passes to Phuket Town, on which bikes, cars, tuk-tuks and taxis drive, but closer to eight o'clock in the evening it is blocked, it becomes completely pedestrian, filled with tourists, barkers and lights .

At 9 o'clock the concentration of people reaches its peak, barkers from go-go bars and transvestites from the Moulen Rose show in concert costumes come out onto the street.

The girls diligently hide from the cameras, but willingly take pictures with tourists... not for free, of course. However, if you are asked for 200 baht at a cabaret show, then it’s only 100. I even managed to persuade one beauty for half a cent, so bargaining turned out to be quite appropriate if you want a photo in which you will clearly be a kind of “ugly girlfriend”.

Actually, the entire Bangla Road consists of bars, there are a huge number of them for every taste, color and budget. But, it is worth considering that if in Australian bars in Patong or just in an ordinary cafe you can get an alcoholic cocktail for 70-90 baht, then you will not be able to spend less than 100-120 here. The cheapest option is a beer for 80 baht, twice as expensive as in a store.

The most interesting and famous bar is Tiger, which is notable for its design: huge tigers and a sign that is impossible to miss. The bar consists of many racks around which bar stools are placed, but this is not an option for "sit, chat", the music rumbles here so that you will not hear either the bartender or the interlocutor.

Since there is not much evening entertainment in Patong, in a couple of weeks we were on Bangla Road 5 times, the last time I realized that the same people are constantly here, and indeed this street is like from "Groundhog Day": in a certain place, a certain Thai will offer you a suit and stick a piece of paper with an address, two steps further a chubby Cambodian will insist that you watch a ping-pong show, a little further some Laotian will come up to you with a sign on which is a list of what is happening on the sex show and will scream "know sex".

By the way, about the ping-pong show: you can take a tour of it at a travel agency, it usually costs a thousand baht, an independent visit will be much cheaper, since the entrance to such an institution is free, and it receives income due to the inflated price of drinks (in on average, a drink, be it beer or juice, will cost you 500-600 baht). Minus for you - you need to buy a drink, plus - the performance goes on for an hour, and you can sit as long as you like with one drink if you like the spectacle of balls flying out of the genitals, frogs crawling out and other things from the same opera. As usual, I conducted an experiment: for myself, I determined the maximum cost of such entertainment at 300 baht (after all, there are two of us, and 600 baht is not a thousand, the savings is dinner for two) and tried to find out if it was possible to get a discount. It turned out that this was real, reluctantly and not immediately, but in the end the girl ran up to us and said that the place was empty, so we agreed to 300.

Since the tourists here are either already tipsy or looking for somewhere to drink, smart merchants in Bangla smartly offer all sorts of nonsense at exorbitant prices. Basically, these are all kinds of headbands, flower beads, bracelets, local pipes, spinning and luminous turntables, etc.

Oddly enough, people come to Banglo Road with children. At first I was a little surprised, but then I realized that if you don’t turn into jays, then there are practically no hot spots on the street itself, the only nuance is an incomprehensible institution with Russian beauties "Moulin Rouge".

It's a strip club and a brothel in one. In the window-showcase on the second floor, a lethargic and not very pretty girl periodically walks around the pole, apparently in this way trying to invite someone to the institution. To be honest, looking at this tetanus coma at the pylon, I had the feeling that apparently the striptease there was very slow and dull: an hour would pass, and Madame would still be in a sheepskin coat, and even with a sour mine.

All the “cereal” like go-go bars and the already mentioned sex shows are located in the jay streets off Bangla, but there are also just quieter and calmer bars.

Sometimes performances of Thai "amateur performances" take place right on the street, for example, a guy danced with two dolls attached to himself under the "gangam style", gathered a whole crowd around him.

In general, all the entertainment here is numerous bars, one brothel (and the one with Slavic girls), ping-pong shows and walking back and forth to roaring music and screams of barkers who now and then run up to you to offer their establishment or product . It may be interesting to watch it 1-2 times simply because of the atmosphere of general fun and relaxation, but there is really nothing remarkable or interesting, Russian tourists suffer completely due to the lack of decent clubs here.

Did you know that Phuket is famous for the most beautiful sandy beaches in Thailand? In this article, I will give an overview, list and describe to you the best beaches in Phuket. I promise that further we will consider each beach separately, we will study it up and down with hotels, entertainment and attractions)))

Yanui Beach.

A beautiful and small beach located in the very south of Phuket between Promther Cape, where tourists love to meet the sunset, and Nai Harn Beach. It cannot be said that it is ideal for swimming. The thing is, it's a bit dirty. But this is a good place for snorkeling and diving, so there are several diving firms here where you can rent scuba equipment or a mask with flippers to look at flocks of colorful fish. If luck smiles, you can even see a moray eel. The bottom of the sea on the beach is sandy, but after a few meters the stones begin. Swimming is better on the right side of the beach.

In addition to snorkeling, such entertainment as kayaking is common here, which you can rent and ride around the area or visit the islet located opposite. Just do not land on the shore, as when approaching land, there are sharp stones.

Nai Harn Beach.

This beach is considered one of the best in Phuket. If you are looking for the best beaches in Phuket, this is the right place for you. It is located between Promthep Cape and Kata Noi Beach, and is only about 600 meters long. It has light yellow fine sand and clear turquoise water. The beach is located in a picturesque bay and surrounded by tropical greenery. The entrance to the sea is not very steep and not very gentle. Snorkeling is not possible here as the bottom is sandy. But on this beach there is a yacht club that offers sailboats for rent. Palm trees stretch along the entire coast, kindly providing their shade on a hot sunny day. There are big waves during the rainy season.

Kata Noy.

A nice small beach, about 600 meters long. The sand here is fine and pleasant, walking on it is a pleasure. The slope at the entrance to the sea is quite strong, so care must be taken, especially when swimming with children. There are many hotels along the coast of the beach and there is practically no green area and shade. You will not find night bars and noisy discos here, so this beach is conducive to a calm, quiet rest and attracts tourists here who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The peculiarity of this piece of paradise is that there are cafes and restaurants on the observation deck where you can comfortably spend the evening enjoying the beautiful views of exotic nature. From here you can see almost the entire island of Phuket.

Kata Beach.

The third most popular beach in Phuket. There is golden sand, clear blue sea with a turquoise hue, a gentle entrance to the sea, which attracts families with children to relax here. Since the beach is very popular (there is nowhere to set foot in the high season), there is also garbage accordingly. At low tide, the sea goes far for several tens of meters, exposing a sandy bottom, where debris, shells and algae are found. Until October, there are high waves that attract the attention of surfers. Kata Beach is considered to be the best surf beach in Phuket. The hotel is located almost along the entire coast, so the entrance to the beach is on the right or left of this hotel. Also throughout the beach there is green vegetation, in the shade of which you can hide from the scorching sun.

Karon Beach.

This 6 km long beach ranks second in popularity among tourists and attracts with its cleanliness and developed infrastructure, this is one of the best beaches of Phuket. Karon Beach is a kind of golden mean, it is not as noisy as in Patong, but there are enough night bars and discos for those who want to have fun from the heart. South Karon is quieter, suitable for snorkeling and kiting, while the northern part is more lively.

Karon Beach is famous for its singing sand. When you walk along the beach, it makes a characteristic creak. This is due to the coral origin of the sand, which is nowhere else in Phuket.

It must be remembered that the waves on Karon are quite large, so when you see red flags, you should refrain from swimming in the sea.

Patong beach.

Phuket Island has its hotspots. Patong is the most popular holiday destination in Phuket mainly among young people. The beach itself stretches for 4 km, the beach is sandy, the sea is not very transparent and clean due to the huge density of lying bodies. Patong has 450 hotel options out of 900 units in Phuket, so here you can choose a hotel for every taste and budget.

Life in Patong is bustling around the clock. It is always noisy, fun and colorful here. The most popular street in Patong is Bangla Road, the epicenter of fun and all kinds of entertainment (go-go bars, discos, shows, transvestites, etc.). Patong is also known for its excellent shopping center - the Jang Ceylon shopping center.

Not everyone likes such a noise that is always on Patong, so people often stay in hotels on neighboring beaches, where I relax during the day, and come to Patong at night in search of fun.

Kamala Beach.

Kamala Beach is located in a beautiful bay, the picturesque rocks of which protect the sea well from unrest, which means there are fewer waves here. The water is clean. The entrance to the sea is very gentle, to dive, you need to go deep into several tens of meters. The beach is not crowded, mostly popular with foreign tourists over 50 who come here for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Kamala is known for the Khao Phonthurat hill, which offers stunning sunset views that will not leave anyone indifferent. These spectacular locations have made many of Phuket's best beaches popular with tourists. Despite the silence and not crowded, there is a fairly well-developed infrastructure here, you can find cafes, shops, and night bars with discos.

Surin Beach.

It is considered one of the respectable beaches in Phuket, where stars and celebrities come to relax.

It is located in a picturesque place and is known for expensive hotels and pine trees, so unusual for tourists. The infrastructure is developing more and more every year. Big waves are not a rare guest here, so Surin Beach attracts a large number of surfers. The main activities on the beach are snorkeling and kayaking.

Bang Tao.

One of the longest beaches in Phuket - 8 km. There are not so many tourists here, the infrastructure is not as widely developed as on the popular beaches of Phuket. But Bang Tao is known for its five-star hotels with world-class service.

Waves are frequent here, so this is one of the favorite places for surfers. Also, the northern part of Bang Tao Beach will delight divers, albeit not large, but very picturesque coral reefs, where it is very quiet and beautiful.

This is a respectable area, strewn with expensive hotels and restaurants, so the prices here are much higher than on other Phuket beaches. There are no cheap markets and small cafes scattered along the streets. In the northern part of Bang Tao, there is a well-known paradise place with the beautiful name Laguna, where rich and famous people prefer to spend their holidays.

Rawai.

The best beaches in Phuket do not include this beach in their list, since it is not of interest as a place for a beach holiday, since boats are moored along the entire coast, on which local residents of fishing villages go fishing from early morning and return with a catch by lunchtime . Rawai is famous for its quiet and peaceful life, the fish market and the pier, far reaching deep into the sea.

Rawai is also considered the starting point for traveling to neighboring islands. With the owners of those same boats, you can arrange to go see beautiful places and see the wild beaches of Thailand.

In the west of Rawai, the well-known Promthep Cape is located, where tourists from all over Phuket come to see the views and sunsets of extraordinary beauty.

Chalong.

Chalong Beach is also not of interest for swimming, since the sea here is muddy due to boats and yachts mooring to the shore. This beach is the center of sailing. From here you can also go on boat trips to neighboring islands. Chalong is popular with long-term tourists, as housing prices are slightly lower here due to the distance from the sea. But very close are such shopping centers as Villa Market, Tesco Lotus, Big C and Central Festival.

Thus, the most beautiful and best beaches in Phuket are Nai Harn, Karon and Surin, although the concept of beauty is loose and everyone has their own. By the way, it was about the subjective parameters of choosing a beach that I wrote in the next article, where I told you how to choose a beach so that Phuket leaves an indelible impression and only fond memories!
