Before you is an extraordinary living room. Its walls are painted in mint-turquoise. The red-brown wooden floor contrasts with them. Harmoniously in a tropical interior, images of birds living in hot countries will look: hummingbirds, pelicans, flamingos, gulls. Insects and reptiles are appropriate, but such patterns are not for everyone. 
Animal prints are non-aggressive: elephants, giraffes, monkeys, zebras. And not the color, but the figures: contour or with traced features. A popular pattern is colorful multi-colored feathers. Ethnic motifs, for example, African ones, can be introduced into the design in moderation and dosed.

Simple models made of dark woods are suitable, complemented by soft upholstery, for example, made of leather or simple and somewhat coarse natural materials: cloth, jute, cotton. Fabrics can be plain or decorated with tropical prints. 
Advice! You should not buy elegant and sophisticated furniture, it will not fit into the tropical concept. Items should be simple, as if made by hand from improvised materials found on a desert island or in the jungle.
Plants
What are the tropics without vegetation? And it is better to choose exotic plants to enliven the interior and maintain the concept: palm trees, creepers, woody ones. These are yucca, dieffenbachia, cycas, bamboo, lemon tree, bokarnea, bashful mimosa, tuberose, caladium, lithops. 
Plants are planted in clay or ceramic pots, reminiscent of tubs made of natural unbaked clay. You can use wooden planters, but plastic will break the concept. Pots can be decorated with stylized prints, such as exotic animals.
The number of plants depends on the area of \u200b\u200bthe room and free time, because representatives of the flora require care and free space. If there is no opportunity to turn the room into the tropics, put a large palm tree in the corner and place a couple of pots on the windowsill or furniture. 
Decor
For interior decor, use original exotic accessories: bamboo mats, rugs in the form of animal skins, ethnic figurines and totems, tribal masks, simple wooden or earthenware, vases with images of tropical birds, insects and animals, a large fan on the wall, feathers, panels of natural materials (stones, branches).
