The debut of the new outfitter of the Olympic team.

In the office of the ROC, the first “working” uniform of the Russian national team from a new outfitter, ZA Sport, was presented. Russian athletes will wear these suits at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Hungary (July 23-30).

The contract with Bosco di Ciliegi, which dressed our Olympians from 2002 to 2016, ended - in early spring, an 8-year contract was signed with the ZA Group, which owns the rights to the Za Sport brand.

The outfitting company is run by designer Anastasia Zadorina, daughter of the former head of the FSB Operations Support Service, Mikhail Shekin.

“We had very short deadlines, in three months we made 300 sets, of which 174 will be given to athletes. The suitcases are hand painted. Gray is architecture, a big city, something new. Athletes should look static and not too flashy.”- said Zadorina at the presentation.

When creating the form, Za Sport consulted with the fencer Sofia Velikaya and other Russian athletes, as well as the presidents of 60 federations.

In November, the outfitting company's branded store will open (including online shopping). In December, the presentation of the form for the Russian Olympic team, which will go to Pyeongchang, is expected.

And this presentation is awaited by many with great excitement. It's no secret that many in the leadership of the ROC were unhappy with the first Za Sport collection. And yesterday's version made me doubt the outfitter even more.

And if the gray uniform sewn for the youth festival is not so critical (after all, the event is not so large-scale), then everyone will definitely discuss the uniform for Korea. At the Winter Games, the Russian team, by tradition, is the most representative.

Zasport company of Anastasia Zadorina, which at the beginning of 2017 was chosen as the new outfitter of the Russian Olympic team, the uniform for the Russian youth team. About how the presentation went - in the RBC photo report.

Zasport is part of the ZA Group, which, in addition to the sports direction, develops the anastasiAZadorina brands and organizes and PR-supports events. The founder and main owner of the company is Anastasia Zadorina. In April 2016, Forbes magazine wrote that she was the daughter of Mikhail Shekin, the head of the Russian Federal Security Service and the president of the Dynamo sports club.

ZA Group started its business in sportswear in 2012. She specializes in the development of corporate style and the creation of clothing for outdoor activities and travel.

Zasport's clients include Dynamo, Vnukovo, Norilsk Nickel, and Rosatom. According to SPARK, Za Sport LLC, founded by Anastasia Zadorina, was registered on December 1, 2016. Zadorina also owns 45% in Za Group LLC (revenue in 2015 - 638 thousand rubles, loss - 86 thousand rubles), as well as Equipsport LLC and eight other companies. Equipsport, according to the public procurement portal, in 2016 supplied sports equipment for the Transneft Olympics for 1.6 million rubles.

Zadorina gained some fame in 2014 with an action in Moscow: the designer offered passers-by to exchange their clothes of foreign brands for T-shirts with the inscriptions “Poplar is not afraid of sanctions” or “Sanctions? Don't make my Iskanders laugh.

New equipment was produced for the European Youth Olympic Festival - competitions for athletes aged 12-18, which will be held at the end of July in Hungarian Gyor. “We had very short deadlines, in three months we made 300 sets, each consisting of 17 pieces of equipment,” Zadorina said.

The youth collection is “an embodied concept of urbanism,” Zasport said in a statement. The idea was based on elements of urban architecture, straight technological silhouettes, normcore style and lifestyle of modern young people.

The main color of the collection is "urban gray, which opens up endless possibilities of variability and expresses calm noble confidence." “Grey is architecture, a big city, something new,” Zadorina explained at a press conference. “Athletes should look static and not too flashy,” she says.

The presentation was attended by two-time Olympic champion in athletics, member of the International Olympic Committee Yelena Isinbayeva

The fact that the Olympic Committee will change its outfitter for the first time in 15 years began in early February 2017. Zasport has replaced longtime ROC partner Bosco di Ciliegi Mikhail Kusnirovich, whose contract expired in January.

Bosco di Ciliegi has been cooperating with the Russian Olympic Committee for 15 years. As Kusnirovich explained, for the right to continue working with athletes, the committee requested 650 million rubles from the group. in year. The businessman called these conditions inadequate.

The contract with Zasport for the equipment of Russian Olympians until 2025 was signed at the end of March

The amount of the contract for the equipment of the party. Alexander Zhukov said that it is comparable to the amounts of contracts concluded by committees in other countries. According to him, Zasport made the best price offer compared to all candidates.

Zasport said that in addition to the existing production in Moscow, the company intends to open a second factory, as well as a federal network of branded stores "with prices affordable for the mass consumer." The ZA Sport outfit center and flagship store are scheduled to open in November 2017.

At the presentation of the form on July 13, Zadorina specified that the brand's online store would also open in November.
