How to make furniture from pallets with your own hands. Garden furniture from pallets: what can be made from wooden pallets? Photo examples of garden furniture made from pallets, made by hand

From disassembled wooden pallets, you can assemble a variety of pieces of furniture as from designer parts, using both ready-made panels and boards and beams separated from them. If for the first time you decide to try your hand at making furniture, first try to assemble a coffee table from pallets with your own hands - photos and drawings of such a table are easy to find on the Internet.

Preparation and principles of work

Tools and consumables

You will need:

  • drill, drills and abrasive brush nozzle for polishing wood (or sandpaper); hammer, nail puller, brushes and roller for paint, varnish, primer;
  • screwdriver and screws;
  • primer, varnish or paint (acrylic, polyurethane);
  • accessories (corners, clamps, wheels for a table, handles for drawers, etc.

To make the screws easier to enter the tree, lubricate them with household or any other soap. If the pallet table will stand on the street, the wooden parts must be treated with a moisture-proof compound before assembly.

We prepare materials

To make a table top that does not match the standard pallet size, disassemble the pallets with a hammer and nail puller. Before disassembly, they must be cleaned of dust and dirt (wash or wipe with a damp cloth and dry) and lightly polished. This can be done with sandpaper or with a drill bit.

Attention! You need to clean all the details of the pallets, and grind only those areas that will be in contact with the body. Don't forget to wear a mask and goggles!

Remove the nails, being careful not to break the boards, sort them by width and condition, especially if you have used used pallets. It is enough to cover new pallets or their parts with a moisture-proof composition, and it would not hurt to treat used pallets with an antiseptic primer. If food was transported on them (for example, vegetables or cereals in bags), organic particles that got into the microcracks of the boards begin to decompose over time, and an unpleasant odor appears. Finished products are covered with a primer and varnish or paint when the glue that holds the boards dry.

Coffee table

Cleaned and painted or varnished (stained), the pallet itself can serve as a low decorative coffee table. Such a piece of furniture will fit well into the "oriental" interior with sofa cushions on the floor and will appeal to people who like to drink coffee while sitting on a fluffy carpet. Well, if you want it to be of the usual height, assemble it from two or three pallets stacked on top of each other.

To make a small table from pallets, you need 2-3 pallets, one of which is disassembled into blanks. Boards from it are stuffed between the slats of the future tabletop to make a solid canvas; used for the manufacture of shields floor shelves and legs.

Finished large parts are ground, treated with protective compounds and left to dry. After they have dried, the roughness remaining after the initial treatment is rubbed with fine-grained sandpaper or polished with a brush attachment for a drill.

Now you can assemble the structure:

  • a shield assembled from boards is attached to the bottom of the pallet, which forms a shelf or niches for drawers. From above, the shelves are left latticed or made solid.
  • several layers of stain are applied to the table or primed and painted;
  • four legs or furniture rollers are bolted to the corners of the lower part of the assembled table.

To make the pallet coffee table stand evenly, mark in advance the places where the rollers will be: attach them to the tabletop and mark with a pencil in the right places. Drill holes for the screws at these marks.

Kitchen table

To make a dining table, you will need four meters of timber with a section of 2 x 2 cm and several pallets: square, 1 x 1 m in size (for countertops), and standard - 1.2 x 1 m (for parsing into parts).

From a standard pallet, you will get eight boards for the legs of the table, each of them is about 7 cm wide and 66 cm long. Cut four pieces of 7 x 68 cm from the timber for the table frame and eight spacers 32 cm long (along the long edge). Cut the ends of the spacers at a 45 degree angle.

Now you can start assembling. If you like the natural texture of wood, sand the parts before assembling and cover them with a clear or colored varnish. Step by step instructions:

  • Put together a frame of four boards.
  • Make two boards at a 90 degree angle, connect them with metal squares or glue and screws. These will be the corner legs.
  • Attach the legs to the frame, additionally connect the frame and legs with props.
  • Fasten the square pallet to the frame with the base up and place a sheet of thick glass on top of it. Glass for the countertop can be transparent or colored, it is glued with transparent glue or a glass plate is drilled and fastened to the frame with large bolts.

The tabletop can also be made from the boards of a disassembled pallet, stuffed with a solid canvas over the frame. For niches inside the table, drawers are made of boards or plywood - you will store cutlery, napkins and kitchen stuff in them. The middle part of the base of the pallet serves as a limiter for the boxes, and the “extra” openings are laid with wooden cubes cut from a thick beam.

Desk

The simplest computer or desk is made of four pallets, two of which, placed vertically, serve as its side walls, they are equipped with shelves for small items. If you place the side pallets with the bases outward, and not inward, small flowerpots with flowers can stand on the shelves. Floral design harmonizes perfectly with wood and will enliven any room.

The upper pallet is left unchanged, but its surface is made solid, clogging the gaps between the slats with boards or timber and carefully polished. The bottom of the pallet becomes a shelf or niche for drawers. Unlike the dining table, they are placed in the desk only on the wide side, making a delimiter inside the niche: two rows of wooden cubes with edges of 20 centimeters. The same cubes lay openings on the sides. If you are not going to put the table close to the wall, equip drawers on both sides of the table.

Work or office option for an office

Another option for an eco-style desk is with a pallet top, set on metal or wooden legs. It does not look as bulky as the previous version, and it is easy to complement it with a restored bedside table, decorating both pieces of furniture in the same style and connecting the cabinet with the table with a wooden shield. Two "lightweight" tables made of pallets, separated by a bedside table, will become a common workplace for brothers and sisters living in the same room.

Advice! As a set for the desk, you can make a wide stool from a pallet and lay it on it. Attach furniture rollers to the legs, and without a pillow, it will serve as a small mobile table.

Baby changing table

One of the main requirements for furniture for children is the strength and reliability of the structure, so pallets are the best suited for its manufacture. Assembling a changing table from pallets with your own hands is not much more difficult than a coffee table.

It needs four or five "wooden trays", one of which will go to disassembly. As with a desk, the legs of the changing table are two vertically placed pallets, and the top is a solid shield. The only difference is that the sides are stuffed around the perimeter of the tabletop so that the baby does not accidentally roll off it.

The internal ledges of the side panels of the table serve as the basis for two lattice shelves. There will be spare packs of diapers, a change of clothes for the baby, bedding, etc. If you need boxes for small items, use one or two assembled pallets connected together and cover the structure from below with a sheet of plywood.

You can use glass to level the surface of the europallet surface.

From pallets, you can also make a roomy table-cabinet for a nursery. In this case, the shelves are made with solid shields, and thick beams are vertically stuffed in the middle so that they form a wall connecting the tabletop and the shelf. Boxes made of plywood or boards are inserted into niches. When the baby grows up, he will store toys in them.

"Live" tree or painting?

Wood is a versatile material that can be combined with all other natural materials. Having retained its natural texture, pallet furniture can be supplemented with textile accessories, glass tops; metal and forged parts; painting and wooden mosaics. However, it must be remembered that the type of wood processing depends not only on the artistic design, but also on the purpose of the piece of furniture:

  • colorless varnish is necessary not only to emphasize the structure of wood fibers, but also to protect the table from sauces, tea, coffee spilled on it. Untreated wood absorbs liquids well, and over time, the countertop will be difficult to clean.
  • the table can not be painted or varnished. But if it will stand in the house, it must be impregnated with wood stain (besides the decorative function, it also has disinfectant properties), and garden furniture is treated from pests and moisture.

Euro pallets - free material

Protective compositions are applied with a brush, roller or sprayed onto the surface to be treated with an airbrush in two or three layers. If you want to paint the table with oil paint, it must first be primed with a special putty or covered with drying oil.

Depending on the accessories and the way the wood is decorated, a pallet table will decorate a country-style kitchen, it will have to fit in, or it will successfully fit into a loft that is fashionable today. And having learned how to make a table from pallets with your own hands and having worked out, you can continue updating your interior with unusual and beautiful pieces of furniture.

Convenient pallet kitchen - assembly technique, plus 10 original ideas

Today, pallet kitchen furniture is slowly moving from the category of an amateur hobby to a separate design direction. Let's find out how realistic it is to make such furniture at home with your own hands, and finally, I will show and talk about 10 popular models.

Technical points

Wooden pallets, or as they are also called pallets, are used in rigging work as a support for piece goods weighing up to 1.5 tons. Simply put, these are stands for large and heavy boxes.

But before doing something out of them, let's figure out what they are, what kind of wood they are made of, and most importantly, any pallets are suitable for creating furniture, or there are still certain restrictions.

Norms and standards

There are quite a few varieties of pallets, but you should focus on 3 generally accepted international standards:

  1. Euro pallet - according to the European standard, such a design should have dimensions of 1200x800 mm, while the outer planks of the pallet should have a width of 145 mm, and the middle bars should be 100 mm. The gap between the front bars is 40 mm. There are lightweight and reinforced designs, they differ in weight and thickness of the front bars;

  1. The so-called “Finnish” pallet has dimensions of 1200x1000 mm, compared to a euro pallet it is considered more durable, if competitors have a thickness of slats of 15–20 mm, then here it is fixed 22 mm with a gap between the slats of 50 mm;

  1. There are also bread trays, which also belong to the family of pallets, their length is fixed 740 mm, and the width varies depending on the model from 465 to 640 mm, with a side height of 65 mm. For the design of furniture, they are rarely used and are suitable only for the manufacture of countertops.

In order not to measure each pallet separately, it is easier to carefully study the side parts of the structures: a branded quality item made according to fixed standards must be stamped EUR or EPAL.

In addition to generally accepted standards, many companies produce pallets according to specifications (TU). Such conditions are accepted at the level of the company's management and are often made for a specific product, most often there are products with the following dimensions:

  • 800x1000 mm;
  • 800x1100 mm;
  • 900x1100 mm;
  • 1100x1400 mm;
  • 1100x1800 mm;
  • Square designs:
  • 1100x1100 mm;
  • 1200x1200 mm;
  • Specialized designs are extremely rare:
  • 825x1000 mm;
  • 1100x1320 mm.

The dimensions of pallets for the design of kitchen furniture are of course important, but this is not the main thing. When choosing, beware of color pallets marked "IPPC" these products are impregnated with harsh chemicals and can cause at least an allergy.

Why pallets

  • The price of a new pallet now ranges from 200 rubles, according to the ad, you can buy used pallets for 30 rubles apiece;

Having a car at hand, such goods can be taken at all for free, the fact is that the storage of such combustible material requires the fulfillment of fire requirements and firms will gladly give you these pallets for self-pickup, just to avoid bickering with the fire inspector.

  • It is much easier to assemble furniture from standard parts with fixed dimensions, in fact it is a designer, the main thing here is to understand the principle itself and then you will no longer need instructions for each product;
  • Another important plus is the strength and practicality of such furniture. These designs were originally designed for a lot of weight, which means you should not worry about the strength of the table or chair;
  • What could be more environmentally friendly than natural wood, if your pallet does not have the “IPPC” mark, then small dirt and cracks do not affect environmental safety;
  • And finally, style. Such furniture is now firmly registered in the direction of the loft. Low beds and tables fit perfectly into Japanese minimalism, and sofas painted in pastel colors are already closer to the Provence style.

As for the wood species, in the vast majority of cases it is pine or spruce, but sometimes imported larch and yew pallets reach us. So, my advice to you - if you meet larch pallets, take it without hesitation. Such furniture does not need antiseptics, larch does not rot and does not deteriorate - this is ship timber.

How furniture is made from pallets

Whatever you do, table, sideboard or bar counter for the kitchen, the technology is similar everywhere. Having done any thing once, it will be enough for you to look at the photo, and you will be able to reproduce such furniture at home. I decided to focus on one of the most difficult options - a pallet kitchen sofa with a back.

Where to get extra pallets

What are pallets and why are they so interesting to us? Pallets are transport containers with a rigid platform. They are also called pallets. The base of the pallets is strong enough, because it is designed to work with different loads weighing up to a ton (although there are also disposable pallets). The weight of an empty pallet ranges from 15-21 kg, and the dimensions may vary depending on country standards and truck sizes.

Pallets are part of the packaging, they will be recycled over time

Where can we get such a miracle? While pallets are strong enough, carriers may find that they are worth recycling after a certain useful life. This is just a material for packing and accompanying the cargo. Therefore, there are a couple of ways to get them:

  • Can be bought by ad;
  • Pick up waste material directly from the manufacturer;
  • Assemble with your own hands, determining your own dimensions.

How to process the material

Wooden pallets are very convenient to use: they can be disassembled and fastened back; fasten together; cover with material and combine any fabrics; paint; put on rollers. But first, the pallets need to be prepared.

Naturally, the first point of such preparation is cleaning the pan from dirt. You can do this with a grinder. Now you can disassemble the pallets if you are planning to do something multi-level.

Prime future furniture from pallets if it is planned for a summer residence and will stand in the open air, otherwise the material will rot and serve you very little.

Furniture and interior items - ideas

Unique country furniture and furnishings in the house are what every owner and hostess dreams of. And in this paragraph of the article, we will discuss how to please yourself with an unusual dining or coffee table, a new luxurious bed, an original chair, a bright clothes hanger, etc.

The most frequently used piece of furniture in the house is the table. Books dear to the heart of photography are stored on it, and the family gathers for dinner behind it. So let's see the basic rules on how to make a pallet table.

  • The first thing you need to do is find a good pallet. A good one does not mean without a single scuff or dent, because this is what will give its own special flavor to the future table;
  • Clean the wood, can be washed and dried;
  • Get rid of rusty nails;
  • If a large chipped tree has formed, it does not matter. Just glue it back with glue;
  • Perhaps the length will be too large, so it should be shortened;
  • Now it's time to apply the varnish, slowly in several thin layers.
  • If the table is long and heavy, reinforce the corners with bars.

It is clear that you can come up with something of your own, unique. These rules are not written to put you in some kind of framework, but on the contrary - to give direction to your imagination! And to give you a place to start, we offer several ready-made options.

Table with legs

Pallet table with legs

We will need:

  • Pallet;
  • Wood toning;
  • Primer;
  • Can of paint;
  • Finished carved legs with bolts already installed for fasteners;
  • Plates for fastening legs;
  • Carpentry tools.

The base of the table will be from a pallet. Decide which side will be the top and which side will be the bottom. The top side of the future table must be carefully aligned so that the tinting lies evenly.

Now it's time for the purchased legs. Prime them with primer and then paint. Let dry.

To make it more convenient to tint the countertop, attach the legs first (although this is not a rule - do as you like). To do this, turn the tabletop over and attach the plates for attaching the legs to the corners, screw the legs. Now you can tint the countertop and its sides.

Are you sure it's not difficult? Then let's see

Tiered on wheels

Let's try to make a multi-level table on wheels.

Table with legs

The principle of operation is simple: fix three pallets together, paint, attach the legs-wheels.

With drawers and boards instead of legs

In place of the legs you will not need to buy anything. Just fasten the boards to the pallet on the sides. Boards on the countertop can be painted in different colors through one. And apply the main color to the boxes.

With glass base

Paint the pallet in any color. Place a sheet of glass on top. It looks amazing.

Table with glass

Although, nevertheless, we were a little cunning: there is one important rule - to enjoy work! Even though pallet furniture is an amateur job, the end result is fantastic!

Sofa with back

You can take two pallets for the base, and if you want something more overall, then four. One is enough for the back. Fold everything and fasten the corners. Mattress, pillows, armrests - optional.

Sofa with back

Actually, the same sofa, but without a back. Instead, attach soft pillows directly to the wall.

garden bench

  • To create the seat and back, cut the pallet into two parts: let the part for the seat consist of four boards, and the smaller part of the pallet of three will go to the back.
  • To connect them, you will need a wooden beam, or boards from unnecessary pallets. Fasten the two parts at a right angle with self-tapping screws or screws, tightening securely.
  • The rigidity of the structure will be attached by four (two on both sides) parallel slats of the upper part of the back to the seat.
  • Legs can be sawn out of the remaining timber or pallet. For strength and stability, make them wide, but not high.
  • Cover with varnish or paint.

From pallets it will very pleasantly refresh your country house. Instead of taking out unnecessary and ugly furniture to the dacha, thereby cluttering up the entire space, replace it with decent furniture made by yourself.

decorative panel

Focus on just one detail by creating an original piece of furniture - a wooden panel.

You can apply a stencil pattern there and leave it as a decoration, or you can add a few horizontal rails and turn it into a functional shelf.

original tray

Breakfast in bed can be brought on the original tray. Although in fact - it's just a pair of boards knocked together and pens.

Pallet swing

Probably this item of the exterior will be of interest to parents in the first place.
Do-it-yourself pallet swings are a very interesting job. And the kids will be very grateful to you.

You will need one pre-sanded pallet and a strong thick rope or chain.

Fix the rope on the basis of the future swing and on the ceiling (tree, crossbar). There is work not only for dads, but also for moms. Because you can’t do without soft pillows - you can sew them, or remake old ones.

Swings - an indispensable thing for children in the country
Use pallets as a flower stand vertical or horizontal
Hanger for scarves, bags or outerwear

This is a very simple design. Dismantle the pallet to select the best boards. Color them in different colors or in one favorite. Fasten them with cross bars and hang the original hooks. That's beauty in simplicity for you.

Pallet fences

Believe me, it is much faster to build a fence from pallets than from individual boards. The work will move soon. In addition, you will need a level, nails, cement and support beams.

Mark out your site and install the posts, fixing them with cement mortar. Fix the pallets on the poles and paint them.

Pallet fence

Such fences are suitable for country houses, because they look quite massive and even rough, but it is the ethnic style that is now at the peak of popularity!

bar counter

For the base of the bar table, the pallet must be disassembled into separate boards and processed. The table can be straight or angled. Make the legs of the bar counter from whole pallets without disassembling them. Such a stand will be stable and will look quite original.

Beds with and without headboard

A pallet bed is very simple. Put them in several rows - depending on how high you want your bed. The base of the bed is ready, though we cannot vouch for the stability of such a design!

Use the pallet as a headboard. If you are not an adherent of minimalism in the interior, then the headboard can be supplemented with shelves for books or a telephone.

Mirror frames, photos, paintings

Disassemble the pallet into boards and cut them into the desired dimensions. If you cover the boards with varnish of different shades, it will look very impressive.

How to increase the life of furniture

Despite the many advantages of wooden pallet furniture, it does not have any magical properties - just like other furniture, it can deteriorate. How to extend the life of a product that you made with your own hands and put so much love and work into it?

Unfavorable conditions affect mainly furniture that stands outside and is exposed to the sun, rain, etc.

Clean, sand, prime and paint! And then you will enjoy the result of your work for a long time.

It can be seen that there are an infinite number of ideas and it is not possible to describe all of them in one article. You are unlikely to keep up with all the novelties, but we assure you that it is worth trying to create and sooner or later you yourself will come up with something completely new and become an inspiration to other creative seekers.

How to make pallet furniture yourself (video)

Wooden pallet furniture is able to decorate any personal plot due to its elegant and non-trivial appearance. Making furniture from pallets with your own hands is within the power of anyone who has a little patience, time and basic carpentry tool skills.

What are pallets

Pallets are used in cargo transportation and are wooden containers, which are designed to simplify loading and unloading operations. They are made of durable wood that can withstand up to 1000 kg of weight, so pallets can be safely used for making furniture.

There are two types of pallets:

  • 120*100*12 cm - standard pallet;
  • 120*80*14.5 cm - euro pallet.

Making furniture from pallets is not only a hobby of home craftsmen, but also a global trend. Today, many eminent designers produce entire collections of sofas and armchairs created from pallets. Viewing photos of such collections on the Internet can be a source of interesting ideas.

There are two ways to buy pallets:

  1. Finding offers for the sale of used pallets on free classifieds sites;
  2. By calling any transport company. Usually they are willing to sell pallets for little money, subject to pickup.

Pallet preparation

Before proceeding with the creation of furniture, pallets must be prepared as follows:

  1. First, the tree must be rid of dirt and dust, make the surface smooth. To do this, it is convenient to use a grinder (you should work in a protective mask in a room with open windows). If there is no such machine, sandpaper should be used;
  2. Only those parts that will be in contact with your body and textiles are subject to mandatory grinding, the rest can simply be wiped with a damp cloth;
  3. If the dimensions of the pallets are not suitable for creating furniture according to your project, then the pallets will have to be disassembled and the boards sorted by width;
  4. In order for furniture from pallets for the garden plot not to collapse under the influence of moisture and insects, it must be treated with an antiseptic and a primer for external work. To create the desired shade, the wooden surface can be stained or painted.

All work on grinding, sawing and assembling pallets should be carried out using protective equipment: gloves, mask, goggles. Take care of your health!

Pallet coffee table

If you have never made furniture from pallets with your own hands, it is recommended to start with something simple. One of the easiest items to make is a coffee table. To make it, you will need:

  • Euro pallets - 2 pcs.;
  • Wooden slats of various widths;
  • Glass;
  • Furniture wheels - 4 pcs.;
  • Screwdriver.

The table will consist of two pallets placed one on top of the other. One pallet should be placed on top of another and the structure fixed with screws. Attach the wheels at the bottom to make a convenient mobile table. Its height will be equal to 29 cm plus the height of the wheels.

If the table is always in one place, then the wheels will not be needed. In this case, instead of them, you can make small legs from the bars or attach nothing at all - let the bottom pallet stand directly on the ground or on the floor.

Along the perimeter of the table top, nail a side of narrow rails, which will play the role of a glass limiter. It is necessary to put glass into the resulting “frame”, and fill wider slats on top of the side to fix the glass surface.

In a similar way, stools can be made by placing fragments of pallets on top of each other and fixing them with a screwdriver.

Pallet shelves

Another simple and beautiful design solution is shelves made from pallets. If you need shelves for the kitchen, then you need to fill the boards on the transverse fasteners, which will act as shelves. The pallet should be deployed with the crossbars to the wall and fixed with self-tapping screws.

The second way is to saw off such a part of the pallet so that two or three boards remain on the front side, and close the lower part with any material. You get a shelf with a limiter that fits perfectly into the kitchen with any interior. Shelves can be supplemented with decorative railings, painted in any color and decorative perforations can be made.

garden bench

A more complex design is a garden bench, for the manufacture of which you will need:

  • Pallets - 2-3 pieces;
  • Wooden blocks 50*60 mm.;
  • Screwdriver;
  • Metal corner

To create blanks for the future seat and back of the bench, saw the pallet into two parts. The pallet consists of seven boards: a fragment with a surface of three boards will go on the back, and four on the seat.

Using any boards that are on the farm, fasten the backrest to the seat using self-tapping screws, after making holes for them 2 mm smaller in diameter than the diameter of the self-tapping screws. To increase the rigidity of the structure, additionally attach two slats of medium width to the sides.

For the manufacture of legs, the remaining boards or wooden bars are suitable. They should be thick, but not long, so that it is comfortable to sit on the bench. The legs should be attached with a screwdriver on the sides of the lower part of the bench and strengthen the reliability of fastening with metal corners. The finished product should be painted in the selected color or coated with a colorless varnish.

Pallet sofa

Pallet furniture is used not only for garden plots, but also for living rooms. If your living room is decorated in a loft style, then such a sofa will be a real find for it.

The sequence of actions looks like this:

  1. If you plan to place a mattress or flat pillows on the sofa, then you should first deal with their selection and purchase so as not to find yourself in a situation where it will be impossible to pick up a mattress under the existing sofa;
  2. The dimensions of the mattress are known, now you should consider the shape of the future sofa. Straight and corner sofas are classics, but maybe you want to create something unusual, maybe you prefer a polygonal design or a product with an asymmetric back;
  3. After that, proceed to create the base of the sofa. To do this, pallets should be cut to size. After that, all parts should be fastened with a screwdriver with self-tapping screws. If you fasten them to each other with nails, then soon the structure may loosen and creak. To prevent the tree from cracking, it is advisable to pre-drill the holes for the screws with a drill. The diameter of the holes should be approximately 2 mm smaller than the diameter of the self-tapping screws;
  4. Such pallet furniture does not need legs, since the base consists of two layers of pallets fastened with self-tapping screws. But if you want to make legs, they can easily be made from thick bars;
  5. Everything, the base is ready, and beautiful mattresses and pillows that you stocked up in advance will help to give it charm.

Important! If the sofa will stand in the open air, then the pillows and mattress for it should be light enough so that during rain they can be brought into the house without any problems.

pallet bed

A pallet bed is simple in design and quite easy to make. To do this, you need 4 euro pallets + 2 pallets for the headboard (if present), a screwdriver, wood primer, varnish or paint, metal plates or corners.

To make a bed, do the following:

  1. Coat the pallets with a wood primer, which will help the paintwork to lie more evenly. After the primer dries, cover the surface with varnish or paint of the desired shade;
  2. When the paint dries, the pallets will need to be connected to each other, first making holes with a drill, and then screwing in the screws. So that the structure does not loosen, additional boards can be filled at the bottom;
  3. To make a headboard, place two pallets at the base of the bed and attach to the main structure and additionally secure with metal plates;
  4. If you want the bed to have legs, they can be made from four thick bars that are attached in the same way as the headboard (self-tapping screws plus a metal corner or plates).

If you decorate such a bed with lighting, it will look great!

Pallet hanger

There is nothing easier than making an original hanger from a pallet. To do this, simply saw off the top of the pallet and attach it to the wall. By screwing the hooks for clothes, you will get a finished product.

So, making furniture from pallets is very simple. You just need to apply a little patience and apply design fantasy.
