Boilers of the KV-GM (KV-GM) series manufactured by the Biysk Boiler Plant are designed to produce hot water with a nominal outlet temperature of 150 ° C, used in the district heating system for heating and hot water supply of industrial and domestic facilities, as well as for technological goals of enterprises in various industries.

The boilers are designed to work in a closed heat supply system with forced water circulation.

Water-tube boilers, horizontal layout, consisting of: for boilers KV-GM-4.65-150, KV-GM-7.56-150 from the pipe system; for boilers KV-GM-11.63-150; KV-GM-23.26-150, KV-GM-35-150 of two blocks - furnace and convective, supplied in bulk or as a set. Fittings and headset included in the boiler.

    Distinctive features of KV-GM:
  • delivery of the boiler in high factory readiness ensures the quality of the product and reduces the time of installation of the boiler;
  • when boilers are supplied in bulk, technological openings in the boiler house building for equipment installation are not required, and the quality of the product as a whole is ensured during installation and is controlled by the customer at the boiler installation site;
  • brickwork of boilers, carried out at the installation site, significantly reduces the weight of the boiler supply unit and the time of factory production;
  • unified components and parts used in this factory series of boilers allow them to be used on similar hot water boilers from other manufacturers;
  • blocks (with minimal reconstruction) can be used with different burners;
  • the device for the return of entrainment and sharp blast in boilers gives a more complete burnout of the fuel, and, consequently, lower fuel consumption and a reduction in CO emissions that do not exceed permissible values;
  • boilers are durable, maintainable, easy to maintain, have access for inspection, repair and cleaning of pipes;
  • boilers with a burner operate in automatic mode, having the ability to adjust parameters and load stability;
  • the design of the boilers is designed for installation in areas with seismic activity of 9 points inclusive.

History reference

The Biysk Boiler Plant has mastered the production of boilers of the KV-GM series with a capacity of 4.0; 7.56; 11.63; 23.26 and 35 MW and pressure 1.0; 1.35 and 2.25 MPa since 1959.

In the late 60s and early 70s of the 20th century, a sharp industrial upsurge and the rapid development of housing construction began in the country. There was a need for a rapid increase in thermal capacities, both at existing thermal power plants and at the facilities of new heating plants.

The optimal solution to this problem was the installation of relatively inexpensive peak hot water boilers included in the heating network and designed to cover short-term peaks in heating load, as well as as the main source of heat supply throughout the entire heating season and to cover the need for summer hot water supply.

To implement the task, a standard range of a series of peak cogeneration hot water boilers with a heat output of 30, 50, 100 and 180 Gcal/h for burning gas and fuel oil was chosen.

Technical and working projects were developed by VTI, the Moscow branch of the Institute "Orgenergostroy" and BiKZ. Since 1959, the Biysk Boiler Plant began producing boilers with a capacity of 100 and 180 Gcal/h. Subsequently, the production of this series of boilers was transferred to other boiler plants of the USSR, as well as to Czechoslovakia and Romania.

Simultaneously with high power boilers, according to the patent of BiKZ, TsKTI and DKZ, a series of hot water boilers of the KV-GM type with a heat output of 10.0 was developed; 20.0; 30.0; 50.0 Gcal/h. The boilers were mass-produced and produced in large quantities.

Currently, the Biysk Boiler Plant produces boilers of the KV-TS, KV-GM and PTVM series, as well as auxiliary boiler equipment for them: fans, smoke exhausters, economizers, water treatment equipment.

Boilers of this brand are designed for heating and hot water supply of industrial, public and residential buildings. Operate on gas or liquid (diesel) fuel. Depending on the type of fuel, the boilers are equipped with gas, liquid fuel or combined burners.
Hot water boilers of the KVGM series are designed to produce hot water with a pressure of 0.6 (6.0) MPa (kgf / cm2) and a nominal temperature of 95 -115 `C.

The main elements of the KV-GM-4.65-150 boiler are: a pipe system that combines a combustion chamber and a convective heating surface and a gas-oil burner.

Boilers KV-GM-4.65-150 and KV-GM-7.56-150 have a single profile, and differ only in the depths of the combustion chamber and the convective flue. The combustion chamber has a horizontal layout, shielded by pipes Ø 60x3 mm, included in the collectors Ø 159x7 mm.

The convective heating surface, located in a vertical, fully shielded gas duct, consists of U-shaped screens made of pipes Ø 28x3.

The KV-GM-4.65-150 boiler is equipped with one gas-oil burner RGMG-4. The burner is installed on the air box of the boiler, which is attached to the shield on the front screen. Maintenance of the burner, its description and technical characteristics are given in the documentation supplied with the burner.

Oil-fired boilers are equipped with a gas-impulse cleaning device (GIP) to remove external deposits from the pipes of the convective heating surface. The principle of operation of gas-pulse cleaning is based on the impact on external deposits of directed shock and acoustic waves generated due to the explosive combustion of a gas-air mixture.

The boiler KV-GM-4.65-150 does not have a supporting frame. The pipe system has supports welded to the lower manifolds. The supports located at the junction of the convection and combustion chambers are fixed.

The KV-GM-4.65-150 boiler is made in a lightweight pipe lining and is supplied in one transportable unit or in bulk.
