The drug from the tick - Vertimek. Has no analogues. It hits without a miss at all stages of tick development: eggs, larvae, adults!

At the end of spring, all the main plantings are already done and now, in order to get an excellent harvest, we must properly care for the plants. What is proper care? In watering, top dressing and timely treatment from diseases and pests. On vegetable, fruit and berry crops, according to the ovaries, it is now possible to treat pests ONLY with biological preparations. And one of these biological preparations is VERTIMEC.

The main advantages of Vertimec over other pesticides are THAT IT IS BILOGICAL, I.E. SAFE FOR HUMANS AND PETS.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO PROCESS PLANTS ON OVERS AND FRUIT!

The waiting period from the moment of the last processing is only 3 days! And fruits and berries can be eaten after 3 days!

Vertimek- a biological preparation designed to protect plants from ticks and thrips. Unlike many analogues, it acts not only on all types of plant mites, but also on their eggs (acaricide)! In a convenient small packaging for summer residents and farms.

The active substance is abamectin. This insectoacaricide has an intestinal effect: the insect, feeding on the tissue of plants impregnated with Vertimek, strikes paralysis after a few hours. Without being able to eat, the pest dies. The drug has a contact effect until it is completely absorbed into the tissue of leaf plates and stems. The "work" of the insecticide begins in a few hours, the death of insects occurs in 2-3 days. Under favorable conditions, Vertimek protects the plant for up to three weeks.

The advantages of the drug include its ability to act on ticks resistant to other acaricides. In addition, Vertimek is safe for beneficial microflora living on the plant. The drug is not phytotoxic, does not leave spots on the leaf plates. With strict observance of the manufacturer's instructions, there is no danger of resistance - the development of pest resistance to this drug. Vertimec is not recommended for use in mixtures with other insecticides.

Appointment.

Insectoacaricide Vertimek is used to protect fruit, citrus, vegetable, berry and flower crops from mites, mining insects, thrips, psyllids, etc. In the Russian Federation, the drug is registered to protect flower crops in protected ground and cucumbers in protected ground from ticks and thrips.

Mode of application.

Apply the drug at the first appearance of pests. With a low and medium infectious load, one treatment is sufficient to ensure effective protection of the culture. With a high number of pests, re-treatment is carried out after 7 days. Third treatment - as needed. The rate of consumption of the working fluid should be sufficient to completely wet the entire leaf surface of the culture. Do not allow the drug to run off the treated leaf surface. Spraying is carried out in the morning or evening hours. Thoroughly rinse the sprayer and spraying equipment after finishing work with the preparation. The working solution must be used within a few hours after preparation.

For indoor plants in the fight against thrips dissolve 5 ml of the drug in 10 liters of water. When fighting ticks, the dose is reduced to 2.5-3 ml per 10 liters of water. Spray the affected plant with the resulting solution, after spraying, put a transparent plastic bag on the plant, the bag can be removed in a day.

Abamectin penetrates the leaf tissues, thereby providing a long-term residual activity against mites and insects that feed on the treated leaves. After feeding on a substrate containing abamectin, there is a rapid paralysis of mites and harmful insects. The main way to influence the pest is intestinal. Along with this, the drug has a contact effect in the period from the beginning of the treatment to the complete penetration of the active substance into the plant tissues.

Phytotoxicity.

When using the drug in strict accordance with the recommendations developed by the company, there is no risk of phytotoxicity.

Hazard class: 2- th (hazardous substance).

Plant got sick

If you have problems with your plant, and you yourself cannot determine what is wrong with it, you can always contact us for help on our website.

Vertimek is a preparation of a group of insectoacaricides of biological origin, has an enteric-contact effect. It is used when it is necessary to protect almost all types of garden, berry and flower crops from a wide range of pests, especially from ticks, thrips and mining insects.

Features of the insecticide

Vertimek is a broad-spectrum drug that protects almost all garden and flower crops.

Recommended primarily as a drug for spider mites, Vertimec actually has a number of useful properties. Among the main characteristics of Vertimek, distinguishing it from other drugs, it should be noted:

  • high efficiency of plant protection against such pests as ticks, thrips, mining insects;
  • effective against mite species showing resistance to other acaricides, can be a component in anti-resistance programs;
  • minimal impact on beneficial entomofauna;
  • fights pests regardless of their habitat, simultaneously on the lower and upper sides of the leaf;
  • has translaminar activity, which allows it to penetrate very quickly, in no more than two hours, into plant tissues;
  • the period of protective action is significantly longer up to three weeks, while the number of treatments is noticeably reduced;
  • as a rule, it is well tolerated by plants, ensures their high quality;
  • does not significantly affect the timing of harvesting, it can be started as early as three days after the last treatment.

Purpose and action of the drug Vertimek

The main purpose of Vertimek is to protect different types of plants: indoor and garden flowers, fruit, berry, vegetable and citrus crops. The drug perfectly fights against ticks, psyllids, thrips, mining insects.

Reference: Vertimek has been registered in the Russian Federation as a drug produced to protect flower crops and greenhouse cucumbers from ticks and thrips.

The main component of the drug is abamectin, belonging to the chemical class of avermectins. Its mechanism of action is of the neurotoxin type: it stimulates the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid, which inhibits the transmission of nerve impulses and causes paralysis of insects and ticks.

The first signs of the action of the drug appear within a day when the pests begin to lose activity. After two or three days, the reaction of inhibition of nerve impulses spreads throughout their body and leads to complete paralysis, and then death.

The effect of the drug is noticeable within a day.

If the manufacturer's recommendations are followed, the drug does not cause resistance. Nevertheless, such a possibility exists, it manifests itself in the habituation of the tick at a sufficiently high frequency of treatments. The prevention of this phenomenon will be facilitated by the alternation of the drug with acaricides of other chemical groups that have a different mechanism of action.

Instructions for use

To quickly and efficiently get rid of pests in the garden with the help of Vertimek, you must follow the instructions for use.

The signal to use Vertimek is the first signs of pest detection. With their small number, only one treatment is needed. If necessary, repeated treatments can be carried out at intervals of one week, if the air temperature does not exceed 25 degrees. In warmer and hotter weather, treatment can be carried out more often, after 3-4 days.

During spraying, it is necessary to completely wet the leaves, while avoiding getting the drug on the soil, incl. its runoff from the foliage. After spraying, the plant is covered with plastic wrap. It can be removed no earlier than a day later.

Important: The solution should be fully operational within a couple of hours, it is not recommended to store it.

After completion of the processing work, the sprayer must be washed.

Consumption rates

To combat different types of pests with Vertimec, the dosage of the drug will differ:

  • to affect thrips, dilute 5 ml of the drug in 10 liters of water;
  • to fight ticks, you will need 2.5-3 ml, diluted in 10 liters of water;
  • for all other types of pests, it is enough to dilute 1 ml of the drug in a liter of water.

Toxicity

The dosage of the drug depends on the type of pest.

Vertimek belongs to class 2 in terms of toxicity for humans and class 1 for bees. Contact with the skin, inhalation of vapors, irritation of the mucous eyes, and spray near household items and furniture should be strictly avoided.

At observance of norms of a dosage drug is not phytotoxic. Its active substance, abamectin, is characterized by low mobility in the soil; it decomposes quite quickly by soil organisms. The remains of the drug that have not penetrated into the tissue of the foliage after a couple of hours completely lose their toxicity and become harmless.

When using Vertimek, it is imperative to follow the safety measures:

  • processing should be carried out using personal protective equipment (respirator, goggles);
  • during work it is forbidden to eat, drink and smoke;
  • at the end of work, wash your hands and face with soap and rinse your mouth;
  • processing of plants should be carried out in the morning or in the evening in calm weather.

First aid for poisoning

In cases of drug poisoning, first aid must be provided to the victim:

  • in case of contact with the skin, thoroughly wash these areas with soap and water;
  • in case of contact with eyes, rinse them with running water;
  • when swallowing the drug, provoke a gag reflex, for example, by drinking 3-4 glasses of water, then take a couple of tablets of activated charcoal;
  • seek qualified medical assistance as soon as possible, consultation at a poison control center is desirable.

Storage

Storage of the drug should be carried out in a dry place, inaccessible to children and animals, at a temperature not lower than -15 and not higher than +30 degrees. The drug should not be near medicines and food.

What you need to know: Vertimec should not be mixed with other drugs.

Empty used containers must be completely incinerated. The shelf life is 4 years from the date of manufacture.

Vertimek is a drug from a number of insecticides that protects the following types of horticultural crops from harmful insects: flowers, fruit trees, citrus and berry plants. The tool exterminates miners, ticks and thrips.

The principle of the drug:

To avoid resistance (emergence of immunity in pests), we recommend using Vertimec in combination with other insecticides. In addition, applying the poison in accordance with the instructions for use eliminates its toxicity to plants.

Fertilizer is produced using a sprayer. The leaves should be well saturated with the chemical, but the solution should not enter the soil. The finished mixture should be applied no more than 2-3 hours after dilution. After completing the procedure, thoroughly rinse the processing tool.

Vertimek protects almost all indoor plants from thrips. For 5 milliliters of the drug, add 10 liters of water. If you plan to spray plants from ticks, the poison consumption should correspond to a proportion of 2.5-3 ml. for 10 liters of solution. After spraying the drug, you need to cover the plant with a polyethylene film, which does not need to be removed during the day.

Safety when working with Vertimek:

The drug belongs to the second class of hazardous substances. For aquatic organisms, fish, birds and insects Vertimek is very toxic. Do not allow poison to enter waterways! Also, avoid contact of poison (or work clothes) with food or animal feed.

For processing, select a calm day. Spraying should be done in the morning or at sunset (there should be no heat outside). Work should be carried out only in protective gloves, special clothing and a respirator. When using poison, do not eat, drink water or smoke. Wash your hands and face immediately after finishing work.

Assistance in case of poisoning:

A visit to the doctor is mandatory even after successful assistance!

If the poison gets on the skin, wash the affected area thoroughly with soapy water.

If Vertimek gets into the eye area, they should be washed under running water for several minutes.

If the insecticide gets into the mouth, rinse your mouth with clean water at least 3-4 times. You should drink activated charcoal at the rate of: 1 kilogram of body = 1 gram of medication. Be sure to flush your stomach (cause a gag reflex).

How to store Vertimek:

The drug should be stored in a dry place, the temperature of which does not exceed 30 degrees above zero. It is forbidden to store Vertimek next to medicines or food. The finished mixture can be stored for no more than three hours from the moment of dilution. We do not recommend mixing the product with other toxic drugs. Insecticide packaging should be burned without inhaling combustion smoke.
