Branches from the line of the Head. The presence of branches from the line of the Head is interpreted positively, and indicates the versatility of the personality, which is in constant development. Any branch from the line is an attempt to change the usual way of life, even if it was not successful. After all, only those who do nothing never make mistakes. Mistakes and failures come from a superficial approach to the field of activity, therefore, in order to avoid mistakes and further disappointments associated with them, in-depth work in this area and full dedication is necessary. Only in this case, a person is guaranteed success, which will be given as a reward for work and the ability to achieve their goals. The line of the Head without branches, as a rule, indicates that the life of such a person is dominated mainly by concerns about material well-being, without the desire to change oneself and one's destiny.
The basic principle of reading branches from the line of the Head is that the branches directed upwards from the line indicate an improvement in the material or social situation due to the mental activity of a person, and the branches going down, on the contrary, indicate the age when these aspirations will not succeed. Double Head Line. The dating of events from the double line of the Head, if there are signs on the lines, to calculate the age interval, is applied separately to each line of the Mind.
Signs on the line of the Head. The signs on the line of the Head mainly carry negative information about upcoming or past life events. If there is an island on the line of the Head, the flow of mental energy is disrupted, as a result of which it is divided and depleted. Thus, the island, located on the line of the Head under the middle finger, warns of an upcoming streak of bad luck, which will result in nervous strain or depression. The island, which ends the line of the Head, testifies to the dogmatism and conservatism of the owner of the mark. Such a person tends to pay attention to all sorts of little things, losing sight of the main thing, he is hard on everything new, and any unplanned situation unsettles him.
Point on the head line shown in Figure 1.75, indicates at the physical level about severe headaches, nervous strain, neuralgia or migraine. In our example shown in the photo, there is a break in the main line under the helmet, which indicates a very severe head injury, with partial memory loss. The difference between a helmet and a triangle is that the triangle has even edges, is correctly composed and does not cross the Head line, and the helmet, as a rule, is sloppily formed by separate intersecting lines and crosses the Mind line with its edges.
Heart Line
The line of the Heart is also one of the main lines in the palm that determine the fate of a person along with the lines of Life and Head. It starts from the edge of the palm under the hill of Mercury and runs across the hand under the hills of four fingers, as if separating these hills from the rest of the hand.
By the nature of the outline of the line of the Heart on the palms, they judge the spectrum of human feelings, events and sensations related to heart and love affairs. This line also shows how a person starts and ends a relationship, how he copes with emotional and sexual problems, and also how he understands the very type of problems that he has in a relationship with a partner. On a spiritual level, this line shows the ability to sacrifice oneself for the sake of higher and greater goals, to the detriment of personal ones. In addition, it depicts qualities of character associated with high self-awareness, such as: sincerity, generosity, loyalty, constancy, compassion and the ability to forgive. In general, the line of the Heart symbolizes love - both earthly, in marriage, and Divine.
The ideal line of the Heart is considered to be a long, clear and deep line, without damage, passing from the hill of Mercury to the hill of Jupiter, with branches up and down. This kind of line occurs in a person with a kind and sympathetic heart, who gives love and receives it in return, and also has the ability for long-term sincere love and fidelity. Various irregularities in the line of the Heart indicate a deviation from the natural emotional cycle of giving and receiving love, which signals problems in personal life. Therefore, it displays vulnerability, lack of self-control, emotional inferiority and disappointment, leading to increased stress on the heart itself. In this regard, starting from this line and applying dating to it, it is possible to calculate when significant events will occur in a person’s life, associated with strong emotional experiences, both joyful and sad, as well as assess the nature of the situation and the type of people who will enter in a person's life at different stages. The initial section of the line, located under the little finger, characterizes the early years of a person and congenital diseases of the cardiovascular system.
The lines of the Heart and Head should balance each other, since the strengthening of one line in relation to the other will indicate the predominance of the mind over the feelings and vice versa.
Fundamentals of the rules for analyzing the line of the Heart. 1. The line of the Heart is usually divided into three sectors. Its initial section is responsible for congenital diseases of the cardiovascular system, the middle section is for love and sensuality, and the end of the line reflects the type of psychological and sexual behavior. In this regard, when considering the three sectors from a psychological point of view, we will be most interested in studying the nature and quality of the line of the Heart - for the analysis of love relationships, and its end - for determining the guna of material nature, which will show the type of spiritual self-improvement, as well as the nature of sexual behavior. Normal location of the line of the Heart, shown in Figure 1.78, indicates the balance of personality traits and gives the ability to understand, feel and evaluate people who enter a person’s life without prejudice, guided by both feelings and logic. The Rajas zone, in which this line of the Heart is located, in this case will indicate a harmonious personality that will successfully balance between secrecy and openness, suspicion and gullibility, as well as the ability to separate love from passion and affection. Such a person will intuitively feel his partner, will not impose his point of view on him or try to change and remake the partner to suit his character. Such an arrangement of the line of the Heart reflects the ability to attract people with whom healthy, harmonious, good and friendly relations can subsequently be established.
Low position of the Heart line, shown in figure 1.79, speaks of the predominance of the mind over the feelings and emotions of a person. Since the low line of the Heart runs through the Tamas zone, the person will be immersed in himself, completely rejecting feelings, and all decisions regarding love relationships and relationships with other people will go through his mind and logic. As a result, such a one-sided and limited approach, as well as closeness from feelings and fear of emotions, will eventually make a person a cynical pragmatist and a pessimist who fences himself off from everyone, makes himself isolated, leaving and completely living in his limited material inner world. One undoubtedly good quality of character will always prevail in him - this is the ability, rejecting feelings, to make right and correct decisions, but it will just as well repel people from him, since he will choose people not with the help of sympathy and feelings, but guided by base material aspirations and choosing for oneself such people from whom one can get something or “snatch” for oneself.
The beginning of the line of the Heart. The initial section of the Heart line is always located under the hill of Mercury and shows, in addition to the presence of congenital diseases of the human cardiovascular system and attachments in childhood, also the main character traits and determines the behavior of the individual throughout the life of a person. Thus, any displacement of the initial section of the line of the Heart or any branch going to a particular hill endows a person from early childhood with the qualities of that planet, which in the future will determine many of the traits of a person’s character. From this section, you can find out what kind of person will be: responsible or irresponsible, how he will treat his children and relatives, whether he is able to take care of his loved ones or withdraw from it, and also from the initial section, you can understand the general characteristics of the personality in a love relationship : whether he is able to receive more from love or give all of himself to the development of harmonious relationships.
The ideal beginning of the line of the Heart should go from the edge of the hand under the hill of Mercury and be located exactly on the border between the hills of Mercury and Upper Mars. Deviations from this norm will be considered the beginning of the line of the Heart, attracted to Mercury and a deviation to the hill of Upper Mars.
The lines on the hands make up a pattern that shows the character of a person, his habits and style of thinking. Any signs on the arcs symbolize fateful changes. The mind is the power that gives us the ability to change our natural map of life, gives us the power to change the qualities of our type, and is the factor that most strongly affects the lives of other people.
The kind of intelligence that the subject is endowed with is largely what he is: improves or degrades his self, builds or destroys the strong points in his character, and acts according to his weaknesses.

The line also reflects the physical state of the head.

However, since the mind is a force acting directly on the state of all lines, the line of the Head is rarely absent from the hands.
It often happens that only one line crosses the palm, and then you are at a loss to guess whether it is the Head line, or whether it is the Heart line.
In 99% of cases, such a lonely line is the line of the Head, and not the line of the Heart.

To determine the cause of a defect, always look at the Life line at about the same time for a defect on it.
Any deviation on the line of Life will confirm the judgment that the defect is the cause of the disease.
It is also necessary to take into account the nails, the ribbing of which will indicate a huge nervous tension, which is a consequence of the intensive work of the brain.
If, in addition to defects on the Head line, you find ribbed and brittle nails, then it is your duty to warn the subject that he is using up his vital energy so quickly that it does not have time to recover, and eventually this can lead to paralysis.

On most palms, the line of the Head starts from the line of Life, to which it is somewhat attached at its beginning (Fig. 219), and then branches off from it and goes independently; sometimes the period of their joint connection is insignificant, and sometimes it is quite long (Fig. 220).
The faster the separation of the line of the Head from the line of Life, the earlier the development of a person occurs.
The longer the line of the Head is connected with the line of Life, the less self-confident the subject is, as a result of which he relies more on the advice of others in his life.
Very rarely, the line of the Head is associated with the line of Life beyond the age of 20 years; many lines of the Head only slightly touch the line of Life, their owners already at an early age rely only on themselves.
When examining the beginning of the Head line, pay attention to the angle formed by the Head line with the Life line.
The sharper it is (Fig. 220), the more sensitive the person, the easier it is to harm his feelings, and if, in addition, you find small elevations on the pads of the first phalanges of the fingers, then the person has a very high sensitivity.
Such people will do almost anything in order not to harm others, their life will often be unhappy even because of inadvertent neglect of them.
Be mindful of the subject's mud and pay attention to the fingertips.
A person with sharp tailbones and an acute angle will suffer from a lack of self-confidence, timidity, will try to lean on someone else in his life and experience disappointment every time he loses support.

In the cases described above, also pay attention to the fingertips, which will give additional information about the qualities of character.
So, conical fingers and the presence of a wide distance between the line of the Head and the line of Life will indicate a desire for idealism; spade-shaped - for great energy and originality, which will give an abundance of new ideas, but since such people do not ask other people's advice, this can lead them to serious mistakes.
Square fingertips are the safest in this case, as their inherent common sense is a deterrent.
Also pay attention to the length of the fingers.

They are always aggressive, as the Head line begins on Inferior Mars, and often have troubles that arise in disputes and clashes with others.
Inconstancy of mind and a tendency to quarrel is a bad combination, as it makes their manifestations unexpected and spontaneous.
If the color of the palm and lines is red, this enhances the unfavorability of the sign, yellow will indicate a person whose behavior will be unbearable for others.
And the less developed the intellect in this case, the less chance a person has to overcome these problems.
However, with a good first phalanx of the fingers, a long second phalanx of the thumb, and also a narrow, long and paddle-like first phalanx of the thumb, the subject will still be able to exert a fairly effective resistance to his own unstable tendencies.

In this case, the heart will play a more important role than the head.
If there is a deviation of the line of the Head from the very beginning towards the line of the Heart, and so it continues until the very end, then a person will rely on feelings all his life.
If such a deviation is observed later, then such priorities in the character of the subject will appear later.
If the deviation is insignificant, then the predominance of feelings will be insignificant.
Do not forget to also consider which of the lines is deeper and stronger: if the line of the Heart, then the feelings will lead, and the mind will give shape to their manifestations; if the line is Head, then the mind will defend itself, which will often lead to mental exhaustion, since it cannot follow the dictates of the heart.

Sometimes you will meet the line of the Head deviating downward (Fig. 234).
In this case, the straight line of the Head speaks of equilibrium or a state close to equilibrium.
This means that any deviation of the line up or down is the result of ascending or descending forces.
Therefore, when the line of the Head deviates downward, we assume that the intellectual level of the subject decreases at that time.
Since the straight line of the Head indicates a practical mindset, any downward deviation indicates a deviation from this norm in age, which is determined by the line.
The Hill of the Moon, located at the base of the palm, giving qualities of imagination, has the power to cause the line of the Head to deviate towards it.
I have examined the palms of many spiritualists and people with psychic phenomena, and have come to the conclusion that the period in which they become interested in these matters can be determined by the deviation of the line of the Head.

The age of the event can be determined from the line.

A short line length is a sign of either low intelligence, or early death, or insanity (the above-described meanings of the short Head line will be interpreted in this way only if there are additional signs).

Since we are considering the line of the Head, we must also consider diseases that affect the head as a physical organ.

Nails that are grooved, curved back, or brittle, yellow in color, the thin line of Life, islands, chains, breaks, and other defects will help you check your conclusions.
The old palmists spoke of the short line of the Head going to Saturn as an unexpected death.
The grounds for such a conclusion must be clear.
