The cost of organizing an event depends on a number of factors that need to be taken into account. The final amount will be affected by the location of the group, the class and distance of the flight (moving), and the number of team members. Very young then Jason Brown, Abs Breen, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and the youngest sixteen-year-old Sean Conlon had no idea what kind of crazy fame would fall on them in the future. Creation

The group 5ive appeared in early 1997, when father and son Chris and Bob Herbert (the authors of the idea of creating the Spice Girls) decided that the time had come to create a boy group: “Having collected all the experience accumulated by the Spice Girls, we intended to create an unusual boy group. group, but bright, sharp and individual.” They worked hard, holding over 3,000 auditions across England until they made their final choice. “We knew these guys had both the musical talent and the personalities we were looking for as soon as we saw these five guys.” Like the Spice Girls, 5ive moved into a house in Camberley, Surrey, to begin rehearsing together.
Debut

The group made their debut with the successful single “Slam Dunk (Da Funk).” The success continued with the songs “When The Lights Go Out”, “Got The Feelin’”, “Everybody Get Up” and “Until The Time Is Through”. Their debut album, Five, released in June 1998, cemented their position as the most popular boy group in the country. The album showed that the group can rightfully be called a successor to Take That.
At that time, 5ive occupied an intermediate position in the world of rap and dance-pop music. The second album “Invincible” was released in 1999 in the UK and in 2000 in the rest of the world. The band considers this album the best of their career. “Invincible” went double platinum in August 2000.
In mid-2000, the group, together with Brian May from Queen, recorded a remix of the song “We Will Rock You”
On August 19, 2001, the group debuted high on the charts with the new single "Let's Dance".
Decay

On September 27, 2001, due to disagreements with the label and internal problems, the group announced its breakup.
In their farewell speech, the band members said: “We have achieved everything by developing as a group for 3.5 years, and we have also grown as individuals. As a group that has reached the world level, we want to say that we have become older in everything, and this time was really difficult for us. We realized that we had reached the point where we could no longer be dishonest with our fans or with each other. It's time to end this. We want to express our deep gratitude to all our fans who have been with us until today. We will miss you all."

5ive's latest releases include the double single "Closer To Me" and a remix of "Rock The Party" featuring a Grease sample.
Reunion

On September 27, 2006, exactly 5 years after the breakup, the band members announced their reunion. Active work on the material began. In a completely new style, unlike all their previous work, songs such as 70 Days, Settle Down, Are You?, Taste It, It's All Good, Not Coming Home were recorded. During the writing of the album, there were rumors about an almost signed contract with label.

Decay No. 2

On May 20, 2007, not having lasted even a year together, the group broke up again. As the band members themselves stated, the reason for the breakup was that the record company wanted them to start performing with old material, which did not suit the musicians, since they did not want to return to their roots, but wanted to grow professionally. On the night of May 19-20, 2007, a short statement about the breakup appeared on the group's official website. In 2013 the group decided to reunite.

Additional information

The day after the group broke up, on September 28, 2001, the wedding of one of the band members (Scott Robinson) took place with his girlfriend Kerry Oaker, who at that time had a son, Brennan Rhys, born on July 11, 2001. On September 13, 2007, their second son, Kavan Reeve, was born.
Abs Brin soon began his solo career and released his debut disc, Abstract Theory. Ritchie started his career the same way, but due to disagreements with management he had to abandon this idea.

Today we decided to remember the British pop group 5ive.

The group's biography dates back to 1997, when the creators of the equally famous Spice Girls team (Chris and Bob Herbert) decided to create another project, which would include young, energetic and attractive guys. After listening to 3,000 people across the country, the producers selected five young men. Soon the songs performed by extraordinary young people won widespread love and recognition.

On September 27, 2001, due to disagreements between the members, the team announced its breakup. In 2006, the group attempted to reunite. But the new project did not generate enough interest from the record company, and nine months later the group broke up again.

So, what happened to our beloved men?

Jason Brown

Jason was born in a military hospital in the small English town of Aldershot. His father was a military man, and the family moved frequently. The Browns lived in Germany, Canada and the north of England. When Jay was a teenager, the family moved to Newton-le-Willow.

At one time Jason worked in a warehouse. Before becoming a member of the group 5ive, he attended the Italian school Italia Conti Stage School and had experience as a DJ. At the same time, Brown always dreamed of a musical career.

In one interview he stated:

My mother and father have absolutely no ear for music, but I learned that one of my ancestors did sing.

Jay preferred hip-hop and rap, and his idols were such artists as 2Pac, Lost Boys and Outcast. When he had the opportunity to record his own material, Jay immediately began experimenting with hip-hop. He even formed his own team - Prophets Of Da Funk. True, rap lessons were unsuccessful.

In 1997, Brown was one of five members of 5ive selected from 3,000 applicants. At the time of the creation of the group, he was the oldest soloist of the group (21 years old) and immediately took on the role of leader, subsequently often speaking on behalf of the group at various press conferences. Jay wrote several rap verses that became part of the group's repertoire.

After the band disbanded in the fall of 2001, Brown led a less public life, participating in several protests in London against Britain's involvement in the war in the Middle East. After the unsuccessful 5ive reunion, he became a participant in the seventh season of the reality show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, in which he reached the finals and took third place.

In 2012, another reunion of the group 5ive was announced. However, Brown refused to participate in the project, saying that he no longer wanted to be in the public spotlight. He currently resides in South Wales and is actively involved in producing and writing songs for other musicians.

Jason dated ex-Spice Girls member Melanie Chisholm for a long time.

Richard Breen (Abs)

According to friends and colleagues, Abs is incredibly polite, with manners that would amaze the Queen herself, and he is wise beyond his years. Richard received a scholarship to the Italian Conti School of Performing Arts. Naomi Campbell also studied there.

After 5ive disbanded in 2001, Abs began his solo career and released his solo album, Abstract theory. Also released were the clips What you got, Stop sign, Miss Perfect and 7 ways.

Richard Neville

Richie, in addition to his musical career in the boy band 5ive, is an excellent sommelier and actor. After the group broke up, he worked a little on television, and in 2004 he moved to Australia, where he began his career as a sommelier. In 2012, Richie opened his own restaurant in Sydney called Guerrilla Bar and Restaurant.

In 2008, the musician married Australian model Emily Scott. And already in 2009, a loud scandal broke out: Emily accused her husband of violence. As a result, despite all the evidence on her part, the court acquitted Richard. This was followed by a divorce. In 2013, Richie began a relationship with one of the members of the Atomic Kitten group, Natasha Hamilton.

Scott Robinson

Before joining the legendary group, Scott acted in films and studied at drama school. After the collapse of 5ive, he began working on television. In 2001, Scott married Kerry Oaker, and their son was born that same year. In 2006, the couple had a second child, and twins in 2014. Robinson is known to be a big football fan.

Sean Conlon

As a child, Sean dreamed of playing rugby or being a soul music performer. Already at the age of 13, he won one of the musical competitions, performing in front of Phil Collins himself.

After 5ive broke up, Sean continued his music career and wrote songs for many bands, including Boyzone. In 2012, he took part in the “Voice” program in England, but was eliminated after the first round.

And now it’s time for the best compositions of our favorite band!

Biography, life story Five

Lineup: "ABS" Scott Sean Ritchie J Robbie Williams once said: "You can't finish a bag of popcorn these days without some new boy band popping up." Five is not going to be one of those bands - one of many. They clearly get annoyed when they are called a "boy band", preferring the name "lad band", or the plain old "pop band". If they can be classified into any category at all. Because this is a group of fairly talented young people, 17 - 22 years old, who are going to convey a lot of completely different things to completely different people.

Guys love their street style - hip-hop fans find break rhythms in their performance, pop music fans like catchy melodies, girls find them very attractive... The rise of Sean Conlon, Scott Robinson, Richard Neville, "ABS" Breen and "J" Brown was, as they themselves admit, fast-paced. Two years ago there was no group yet. Today they have achieved great success. By the end of 1998, they had sold over two and a half million copies of singles such as "Slam Dunk (Da Funk)", "When The Lights Go Out", "Got The Feelin"", "Everybody Get Up" and "Untill The Time" Is Through" - all of which reached the UK Top 10.

The American market is traditionally the most difficult market for British pop groups to break into. "When The Lights Go Out", their debut single in the US, stayed in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 singles for 12 weeks, making Five one of the most popular British pop groups after the Bay City Rollers! Meanwhile, their self-titled debut album entered the UK charts at number 1 and entered the top ten best-selling albums across Europe. In just three months after the album's release, over one million copies were sold worldwide.

The group Five appeared in early 1997, when father and son Chris and Bob Herbert (the authors of the idea of creating the Spice Girls) decided that the time had come to create a boy group: “Having collected all the experience accumulated by the Spice Girls, we intended to create an unusual boy group. group, but bright, sharp and individual." They worked hard, holding as many as 3,000 (!!!) auditions throughout the country until they made their final choice. "We knew these guys had both the musical talent and the personalities we'd been looking for as soon as we saw these five guys." Like the Spice Girls, Five moved into a house together in Camberley, Surrey, and began rehearsing and getting to know each other.

They soon signed a 6-album deal with BMG/RCA Records and went to the studio in Stockholm to work with renowned producer Denniz Pop. Together they began working on Five's first single, "Slam Dunk (Da Funk)". The world immediately started talking about the new pop group, and even before the release of the new single, publications such as The Sunday Times, The Guardian and The Mail devoted an entire page to an article about the group. Five also won the Smash Hits Best New Tour Act (Discovery of the Year) category at Smash Hits Roadshow "97, and their photos appeared on the covers of twenty-three English magazines throughout the year. In all this fuss, "Slam Dunk (Da Funk)" entered immediately into the top ten, and the next single, "When The Lights Go Out", proved that it was not just a fluke. It entered the top four, "Got The Feeling" charted even further. Like "Until The Time", it reached number two in the English charts.

Their debut album, Five, released in June 1998, cemented their position as the most popular boy band in the country. Immediately to position number 1 - and no doubts! From Milan, the group Five took with them the MTV Select Award. To cap off this successful year for J, Abs, Rich, Scott and Sean, the band performed at the MTV Awards in Milan and took home the MTV Select Award. In addition, the guys had success at Smash Hits Roadshow, where they took all the bets, winning 4 awards. In 1999, their rise to the top continued. They acted as the face of Pepsi, just as the Spice Girls and Boyzone did before them. The track "How Do Ya Feel", recorded for Pepsi, gave fans a taste of what to expect from the band's new album. The release of Five's new album "Invincible", recorded between the UK, Dublin and Stockholm in April and May 1999, was preceded by the first single "If Ya Getting" Down" - with a wonderful mixture of funk and disco, infectious rhythms, and of course, with great charm Five.

In June 1999, the guys made a special statement. To welcome the new millennium, they will perform their first fully live concert in early 2000. Thousands of people screaming in euphoria, arms in the air, live sound... True to their signature style, they brought their explosive live shows to eight of the UK's biggest stadiums between the 11th and 31st March, but not before the 26th and On February 27, Five performed in Russia - in St. Petersburg and Moscow. In mid-2000, Five fans were again both surprised and delighted. The band, together with Queen's Brian May, recorded a remix of the immortal song "We Will Rock You".

FIVE The British boy band Five (also spelled 5ive), working in the tradition of Take That, was created in 1997 (at the same time it was named "Best New Band" by Smash Hits magazine). Critics immediately dubbed it The Spice Boys (since it was created by the same production team as the Peppered Girls). Performs melodic dance music with elements of soul and hip-hop. Participants: Scott Robinson, Sean Conlon, Rich Neville, Jason Brown and Richard "Abs" Breen. In 2001, the group was included in the “Twenty of the Most” of MTV Russia with the new video “Let’s Dance”). In September 2001, the group’s breakup was announced.
