“According to Russian legislation, in the private sector, the installation of gas meters is mandatory, and in apartment buildings - at the discretion of the owner of the apartment. Since 2016, amendments to the federal law "On Energy Saving" have been in force.

When the apartment has only a gas stove, that is, the consumption rate is less than 2 cubic meters per hour, there is no need to set the meter.

In apartments where there is a stove and a gas water heater, that is, the consumption rate is more than 2 cubic meters (you can clarify the indicator in the data sheet by adding up the consumption figures of the gas appliances that you have installed), the meter is more profitable for the consumers themselves, ”Krymgazseti explained.

The company added that for the initial installation of a gas meter, you need to take an attorney entered in the Russian register. If the consumer has a Ukrainian-style meter, an attorney and works properly, there is no need to urgently change it. The calibration interval for gas meters is different - from five to ten years. The meter for verification must be handed over after the end of the calibration interval.

If the meter was installed before 2014, but entered into the State Register of the Russian Federation and passed periodic verification, then there is no need to change it. If there is no meter type in the registry, verification must still be carried out according to the verification interval. Such a counter must be replaced before 2020.

But she is very nervous about everything, so she wanted to hear personally, that everything is in order - but that's what happened ...). They intimidated that if we don’t replace it, they will charge payment not in fact, but in area, or even turn it off. ...

And we have such a thing - during this time we added a second floor and replaced the boiler. But the design has not been done yet.

IDEA 1. We thought for the time being to quickly replace the counter according to old documents, so that my mother does not get nervous - all the same, the payment is in fact going. The husband went to the gas industry. (a separate song - we have an outdated meter model, you just can’t replace it (it costs 2100), only by welding, they don’t do welding in our Istra, they sent it to Krasnogorsk Mezhraygaz with the words that it costs 5000 rubles there. It turned out that it costs 8000 there rubles!) But this is not enough - something they (or us) didn’t match there (the options that the husband could name, the details, alas, he didn’t master it - BTI registration certificate, Certificate of ownership of the house, data according to our household in their database) - and we were told that for this we would be fined, which, in the form of a substantial favor, would be charged to us only for 6 months.
