Designed for heating air in ventilation systems, air heating, air conditioning, as well as in drying plants using hot, superheated water or steam coming from external sources of air and heat supply. Water temperature - up to 180°C; steam temperature - up to 190°C; working pressure - up to 1.2 MPa (12 kgf / cm²). The air must be with the maximum permissible content of chemically aggressive substances in accordance with GOST 12. 1. 005-88 with a dust content of not more than 0.5 mg / m 3 and not contain sticky substances and fibrous materials.

To date, there are several main types of produced heaters, such as water, steam, water, electric and glycol. Heaters are used for air handling units in ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems. Their main purpose is air heating, i.e. this equipment is designed for heat exchange, in which the air passing through the heat exchanger is heated by a heat source through heating elements. Produced air heaters can be mounted both as part of ventilation units, and installed as separate units. The design features of the heaters, which determine the type and dimensions of the heat exchanger, depend on such parameters as technical data and characteristics of the buildings and premises being serviced. Its energy efficiency depends on the material used for the production of a water heater for air handling units, because the more heat the heater gives off at constant energy costs, the higher its efficiency.
Copper-aluminum heaters are produced and used to heat the supply air, they can be operated even at temperatures of -25-40 °C. The heat transfer of heaters mainly occurs due to steel tubes equipped with plates with a ribbed surface. Due to their finning, the area increases, therefore, the efficiency of heat transfer increases. The principle of heat transfer is carried out using a heated coolant that passes inside through heat-releasing tubes that are located throughout the body of the heat exchanger, due to which the air passing in the annular space is heated. If you take steam heaters, they heat the air faster than others to the maximum temperature. Most often, such equipment is used in various industries or industrial workshops, since there is a need for steam generating devices for continuous steam supply.
Water air heaters are more economical than electric heaters. Electric ones are used in low-power systems, their use in rooms with an area of 100-150 m2 or 100 m3 / hour is justified. Such a heater is convenient to install but not effective in calculating maintenance costs. It just needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet to work. The period of production of electric heaters and reliability are comparable to copper-aluminum. Their fundamental difference is that the water heater is connected to central heating and is suitable for rooms with an area of more than 150 m2. After manufacturing, the heaters are manometrically tested during production. But before starting its installation at the facility, it is necessary to calculate the mixing unit, which allows you to control the volume of pumped liquid inside the air heater and prevents it from freezing during the cold period of time. The mixing unit consists of a three-way valve, a circulation pump, shut-off valves, pressure and temperature sensors. Our company manufactures heat exchangers for all types of air handling units.
The production of air heaters is a technically complex process, which consists of such stages as cutting metal parts of the air heater with a laser machine. With the help of dies, smaller parts are bent, some of them are bending machines for body blanks, others are heat transfer tubes. Body parts are painted with powder paint, which polymerizes as a result of progressive heating. Further, all the parts are assembled into a single unit on the assembly line, after the entire manufacturing process and passing the acceptance tests, the heaters are packed, and they are taken by cars either to the warehouse or those who are ready to buy them.
Purpose of the heater:
Water heater KSK with bimetallic spiral-rolled aluminum fins of heat-releasing elements is designed to heat air with the maximum permissible content of chemically aggressive substances in accordance with GOST 12.1.005-88 with dust content of not more than 0.5 mg/m³, not containing sticky substances and fibrous systems of ventilation, air heating and air conditioning.
The KSK air heater is designed for operation in areas with a temperate climate, location category 3 according to GOST 15150-69.
The temperature of the heat carrier - water is not more than 150 ° C and the pressure created by the pumps in the system is not more than 1.2 MPa.

The KSK heater consists of heat-releasing elements, tube sheets, covers and removable side shields.
For installation and fastening of heaters during installation, oval holes 11x15 are provided on the sides of the tube sheets and removable shields.
Connecting dimensions of all air heaters with a single pitch of 125 mm make it possible to assemble heaters in height and length and assemble a heater installation with an air capacity of up to 500 thousand m³/h.
The heat-releasing element is made of a steel pipe 16x1.5mm and aluminum rolling fins with a diameter of 39mm. The step between the ribs is 3mm.
Depending on the number of passes of the coolant, side covers with partitions are welded.
